Johnnie smiled at me and I found myself smiling back.

I liked it.

I shouldn't have.

But I did.

And I can't tell Kyle.

Johnnie grabs my hand and we started walking towards the Tigers and lions.

"Thank you for bringing me Johnnie, I'm having fun." I looked up to him with a smile.

"Thank you for coming with me, I'm glad." He said and squeezed my hand gently.

We finally reached the place where they kept the Tigers and Lions. When we peeked inside, there was a little baby lion playing in the grass.

"Oh my gosh, look! How cute!" I say and point at the baby lion.

"Oh my gosh look! How cute!" Johnnie mimicked my voice, but pointed at me instead of the lion.

"Stop!" I said with a giggle and playfully hit his arm.

He pulled me into a tight hug, and I felt myself slowly melt into his arms.

Oh god, Imogen. Here we go again.

"You want to go home? You look really tired." Johnnie said as he looked at me.

"Yeah, if you want." I looked up at Johnnie as I answered his question.

"Okay let's go." Johnnie said, holding my hand tightly.

Knock! Knock!

I heard a knock on my door. It's been two hours since Johnnie dropped me off at my house.

I walk over the door and peered through the little hole in the door.

It was Kyle.

Great. Fantastic. Amazing. Yay.

I opened the door slowly.

"Hey!" I say, motioning him with my hand to enter.

"Hello!" He said and gave me a hug before walking in.

After he walked in, I closed the door and we both sat on the couch.

"Kyle, I thing we need to talk." I say, breaking 4 minutes of silence.

"About what?" "About the fact that I can't live like this. I can't live my life hiding in the shadows with the person I love. But I can't show the world that we're together without both of us getting dragged under the bus. I don't want a secret boyfriend. I want a boyfriend."

I close my eyes and wait for his response.

"I completely agree."

Wait, what?

"What?" I ask Kyle with a confused look in my face.

"I think you're right. We can't live our lives "hiding in the shadows." And we won't. I think we should see other people."

"Kyle, what? Are you cheating on me?"

"While you were on your date with Johnnie, I thought I'd get revenge on you by going on a date with Alex. It turned out better than expected! I didn't have to hide from anybody and we had a lot of fun."

"Where did y'all go what-what happened?" I ask Kyle.

"We went to the movies. Since it was pretty late, the theater was empty and we were all alone."

"Oh my god, Kyle. I swear if you and Alex did anything I'm-"

"I'm sorry, Imogen." Kyle said before standing up from the couch and leaving my house.

I stayed there, sitting in the couch. Tears were threatening to spill from my eyes.

Alex and Kyle.

Johnnie and Imogen.

But no Kyle and Imogen.

There's no coming back from this one, Hall.
