Reaction: Sammy's Family

Sammy's Dad: (holding her wife; entering) It'll be okay, dear.

[A/N: This is according to the rules of the Omegaverse, if some of you are confused. Also, it is in no way canon. Carry on.]

Sammy's Mom: (wiping tears on sleeve; to everyone) Hello, we're the parents (as grown siblings walk through) and family of Samantha [A/N: Assumption.] Gutierrez, one of the campers. (shows Roxie picture) This is our Sammy.

Roxie: (looks at it) That's her, alright, come on in. (gestures to others) These are the families of the other campers. (gestures to Dave) And Dave. I'm Roxie, Head Counselor.

Sammy's Mom: (smiles, slightly) So nice to meet you all. (shares glance with her wife) We thought we were the only ones, but here we all are.

Ms. Bowman: (approaches her, slowly; wraps her in a hug) It's gonna be okay. We'll get 'em back. (pulls away) Besides, they have each other, too.

Sammy's Mom: (sniffles) Sorry, I just get so emotional when one of my babies...

Ms. Bowman: (holds her shoulder, reassuringly) I know exactly how you feel. When I first heard that my Darius was left on the island...Brandon and I broke down. He's my older son. (nods towards Brandon, who waves)

Roxie: Yes, and as the Head Counselor, I wanted to save them, I did, but--!

Dave: Roxie, you did everything in your power to. It was that ferryman's fault for forcing us onto that boat so that we couldn't go back and look for them more than we already did.

Roxie: Thanks, Dave. (smiles at him)

Dave: (blushes)

Sammy's Brother: Wait, wait, you were forced onto that boat?

Roxie: (turns to him; nods) I assume that you are...

Sammy's Brother: Attorney Esteban Gutierrez.

Roxie: (points with thumb) Casework's over there if you wanna have a look. (as he walks past) Everyone, welcome to the nightmare.

Sammy's Family: (gulps)

(Roxie joins Esteban at his beckoning.)

Esteban: So, (gets out pad) from the top. What happened?

Roxie: From what point?

Esteban: The point where the Indominus broke out.

Roxie: Well, we were notified by the walkie-talkies before anyone actually knew what was happening. We knew we needed to get back to camp, so we attempted to alert everyone, even the emergency only line. Eventually, we made it back to camp, but it'd been destroyed, but we remembered that they had a device we could track and it was moving. So, we followed the signal until they somehow got separated from the tablet and the signal went offline, plus, the power was cut. Finally, we checked the docks, in which we attempted to go back into the park when we couldn't find them, but were threatened with a shock-stick they use on dinosaurs and forced onto the ship. Even while on, I insisted that there be a way for us to return and look for them, which they refused to disclose to me and that's when we arrived stateside and began our current...endeavor.

Esteban: I see, and there's no small detail you've left out?

Roxie: (shakes head 'no')

Esteban: I see, well, from your written and verbal accounts, in which everything is the same, you appear too have been doing your due diligence and were unlawfully obstructed.

Roxie: That is correct.

Esteban: (looks to him) Dave, is there anything we're missing or that's contradictory?

Dave: Only (takes out voice recorders) these. We were required to wear voice recorders, but just in case, I got us our own, so that if it ever came up, we can prove whether they're editing theirs to show no fault on their behalf. I have cameras, too.

Esteban: That's amazing. We might have a case after all.

(Everyone beams.)

Ms. Bowman: Oh, I bet the kids would be so happy!

Sammy's Sister: Yeah, (crosses arms) though she should never have had to go in the first place. It was a GRANT!

Sammy's Mom: She probably feels bad enough for going to spy as it is.

Ms. Bowman: Poor girl. Darius, I hope you're all alright.
