Sigh

Man my mom never bothered me this much, but ever since she heard who I'm currently dating, she's been nothing but very supportive and annoying.

Her birthdays coming up and I planned to bring along Taehyung, have him visit our old farm and stuff. But guess that didn't go as planned, but luckily I have someone who agreed to accompany me!

-knock knock-

He's here!

"Jongsuk!"

"Lee Jongsuk, reporting for duty!" He saluted me.

I laughed. "Come inside, I need to finish wrapping my moms gift."

"Can I know what you got her ^-^?"

"A beautiful charm bracelet. Isn't it cute?" I said as I held it up.

"Aigoo..it's beautiful."

I smiled.

"How long will it take to get there?"

"Mm..I'd say maybe 2 hours?"

"Ahh..and you said your dad owns a farm?"

"Yep. I can't wait to show you around. There's lots to do."

He chuckled. "I'm looking forward to it."

"Okay. I got everything. Ready?"

"Ne."

He gladly agreed to drive all the way to my parents house.

We arrived.

"Okay. I kinda didn't tell them you were coming but, they're very welcoming people."

"No big deal. I'm also a very welcoming person."

I giggled and wrung the bell.

"Eun-ji!" My mom embraced me as soon as she opened the door.

Oh my gosh.

It's been a while since I've last seen my mother, I actually miss her hugs.

"Umma.."

She backed away. "And who's this handsome young man?"

"Mom, this is my friend Jongsuk, Jongsuk, my mother."

He shook her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you mam, your daughter has been nothing but a very great friend towards me."

She smiled. "Oh my..Eun-ji are all your friends this handsome?"

I blushed. "Umma.."

"Very well then, please, come in come in."

We walked inside.

"Where's appa?" I asked.

"He's in the barn honey."

I grabbed Jongsuk's hand. "Come!"

"Whoa!"

I escorted him to the barnyard.

"It smells like feces.."

I laughed. "I have three horses, be nice."

"Ughh.."

I saw my dad. "Appa!" I yelled and ran towards him.

He hugged me. "Oohhhh Eun-ji! What a pleasant surprise."

I pulled away. "I never thought I'd be so happy to see you." I giggled. "Oh appa, this is my friend Jongsuk."

"Hello sir, I'm glad to finally meet you." He said as he shook my dads hand.

"Oh yeah. Hi. Where's Tae?" My dad asked.

"Taehyung is currently promoting his new comeback so..he won't be here.." I mumbled

"Oh. Alright fine with me. Does your mom-"

"She knows. Hey? Mind if I show Jongsuk arround for a bit?"

"Hey he's welcome to even take the horses for a ride." He chuckled.

"Uh that won't be necessary. I can't ride a horse." Jongsuk said.

"You don't? I can teach you!" I said.

"Ani.."

"He can and he will! Ha! Let's go inside first and celebrate." My dad said.

I smiled at Jongsuk.

We went inside and my parents got to know Jongsuk a bit more better. They like his manners and the way he carries himself out in a mature way.

In all honesty though, I know they were expecting Taehyung.

I can see it in their eyes >_>

Anyway, Jongsuk seemed to be having a pleasant chat with my parents. We celebrated nicely, it was just the four of us, nothing big or too small. We cut her cake and showed her how much she's appreciated. And of course she loved my present.

"Eun-ji, are you sure Taehyung won't make it?" She asked.

I sighed and placed my hand gently on her shoulder. "Sorry umma.."

She smiled. "That's okay, next time then. Taehyung better bring me flowers!"

I giggled. "I'll be sure to remind him."

She shook her head and walked off.

"Hey Jongsuk, want to go horse riding?" I winked.

"Ani.."

"Come on.." I grabbed his arm. "No! Eun-ji!" He yelled. I giggled. "Don't be such a girl!" I teased. "No Eun-ji jebal!"

"Let's go!" I yelled as I managed to make him give in.

I excused myself and escorted him to the farmhouse.

I opened the door. "Pony!"

"Pony?"

I smiled and walked over to my white horse, Pony. "This is Pony, she was my first horse. The other two arw Scarlett and Jess."

"Scarlett and Jess."

I nodded. "If you kindly caress their faces they'll like you. Just watch me." I lightly and gently caressed Pony's face.

Jongsuk carefully approached Scarlett and before he touched her she backed away and huffed harshly.

"Aigoo!"

I giggled. "Scarlett it's okay. Look at me," I caressed her, "remember me? Eun-ji.. there there..this is my friend. Jongsuk. Don't be afraid."

She huffed softly.

"Ok Jongsuk. Now carefully.."

Jongsuk approached Scarlett and gently placed his hand on her.

I smiled. "See, she's friendly."

"Aigoo..this is my first time touching a horse."

"Jinjja?"

"Yeah..her names Scarlett?"

I nodded. "Mhm."

"Hehe. She's beautiful."

"You want to go for a ride?"

"No. I can't ride a horse." He said.

I giggled. "Fine, guess you'll have to hold on to me then." I walked to the big cabinet.

"You don't think I'm actually going to get on, do you?"

I took out a helmet. "Here." I tossed it.

He caught it. "What the hell?"

"In case there's an accident. And because you're such a whimp."

"Ya!"

I laughed.

He pouted. "I am not a whimp"

"So then quit whining and get on." I got on top of a bench chair and pulled myself up and got on top of Scarlett.

"You made that look way too easy." He said.

I reached out my hand. "Come."

He took a deep breath and grasped my hand, with all my force I managed to pull him up. Jongsuk got on top right behind me.

"Whoa..this horse is actually pretty big.." he said.

"Yep. She's fast too."

"Aigoo.!" He clenched on to me.

I laughed. "Are you really that scared?"

"Yes! This is my first time on a horse! Go easy on me will ya!"

I couldn't control my laughter.

"Ya!"

"Ok ok. I'll go easy." I gestured Scarlett to proceed walking.

"Whoa! Ya..easy.." He held me tighter.

"Relax Jongsuk, she's only walking."

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see."

"Huh?"

"Gaja!" I tapled on Scarlett.

Within seconds she began to speed up rapidly.

Jongsuk screamed and held me tightly. I couldn't help but simply laugh out loud.

"We're here Jongsuk, you can let go of me now."

He let go and jumped off.

"You are crazy!" He exclaimed.

I sighed and jumoed off. "We weren't going that fast."

"My eyes were closed the whole time! Where are we?!"

"Turn around."

He turned around and gasped.

The view of a beautiful waterfall stood before us, I took Jongsuk to the high mountains. I've missed this place. Taehyung and I would always come here to shower and play.

I wonder if the tunnel still exists.

"What is this place.." he said.

I creeped up behind him and got close to him, close enough to whisper in his ear. "Paradise."

He yelped and moved away. "Eun-ji.."

I giggled. "It's paradise!"

He looked around, "Is this where you always came?"

I nodded. "All the time. Come, I want to show you my favorite spot!" I held his hand and escorted him.

If I had a knife I could cut through these long leaves but guess I'll have to go through them.

"Ah! These branches are so annoying!" Jongsuk said.

"We're here!"

I let go of his hand and entered the tunnel.

His eyes widen. "Whoaa.. is..is that a tunnel?"

I nodded. "We went around the waterfall and now we're right under it! Come!"

He followed.

The tunnel wasn't dark enough.

"Did you always play inside here?"

I nodded. "With Taehyung yes."

"Hey..are these drawings?" He searched the walls.

"Yep. Those are our carvings."

"Heh. That's pretty cool." He pointed to a flower drawing.

I smiled. "Taehyung drew that one."

"Mm."

"I wonder.."

"What?"

I searched the tunnel until I found a set of rocks piled into the wall. My eyes widen and I ran to it and began to unpile them.

"What are you doing?" He said.

I gasped. "They're still here.."

"What is?"

Carefully I grabbed a pure ruby stone and showed Jongsuk.

His eyes widen. "Is that real?!"

"Yeah..Taehyung and I found them within the waterfall. It was the only three. We figured we'd secure them and keep them from falling into the wrong hands.."

"Why? It's worth a fortune!"

"We believed these rubys are what gives this place life. You know..like keeping it sane..fresh.."

He giggled. "You guys sure had an imagination."

"Yeah. Well, it still runs wild. I'm leaving them here."

He grabbed my hand before I could put them back in their place. "Eun-ji, you still believe that?"

I yanked away. "Yes. I'm not stealing them."

"Technicallly you're not?"

"No Jongsuk. Call me crazy but I am not taking these rubys with me." I put them back and piled up the rocks.

He sighed. "So much for good fortune."

I smiled.

"This sure is the perfect place to get away from everything." He said.

"Duh? You want me to show you around my kingdom?"

He glared at me confused. "Your kingdom?"

I chuckled. "Taehyung and I were King and Queen of this land. I'm not kidding."

He smiled. "Then it's an honor." He said sarcastically.

I held his hand and escorted him somewhere else.

As we walked through the forest, Jongsuk couldn't have been more amazed.

"You and Taehyung never got lost out here?"

"No. The fairies would lead us back to the waterfall."

He chuckled. "The what?"

"We were kids Jongsuk. Our minds were wide open."

"Yeah sure."

I gasped.

"What is this?" He asked.

"M-my castle.."

"It looks more like a high-end tree house."

I smiled widely. "I can't believe it still stands!" I ran to it.

Carefully I walked up the spiral staircase and got to the balcony. "Aigoo..Jongsuk! Hurry get up here! You gotta see this, ohhh I missed this!" I was shocked at all the remains me and Taehyung left. They're all still here.

Such as drawings, small tools we made out of sticks, toys, even clothes we made.

This is so bazaar.

"Whoa! Check this out. You guys sure had an interesting childhood." Jongsuk said as he walked in and observed the place.

"Hehe. Thanks.."

"This place is huge. Don't tell me you guys built this yourselves."

"We actually did. It took a lot of time.."

"No way. You two did not built this sick tree house."

"We did.."

He chuckled. "Impressive."

Actually...Taehyung finished it. It was his idea in the first place, I remember when he showed me..

-flashback-

I sat near the lake soaking my feet in the water while I braided my dolls hair. I sang a cute lullaby while I was at it.

"Eun-ji!" Someone startled me.

I gasped. "Ya! Taehyung-ah!"

He giggled. "Come my queen! Our castle is ready for its grand opening!"

I rose to my feet. "Our castle?"

"Remember?"

"Uhm.."

"Aish doesn't matter! I finished it! Gaja!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me.

"Ouch!"

While I continued to complain, Taehyung rushed me somewhere.

"Okay, now I need you to close your eyes."

"Wae?"

"Tsk just close your eyes!"

I giggled and put my hands over my eyes. "Ok!"

Taehyung got behind me and held my shoulders, he escorted me.

"Taehyung where are you taking me? Is this a surprise?"

"Sshh..just one more step closer..annnd. done! Open your eyes."

I did as he said.

My eyes widen and my jaw dropped.

"Wuh..wuh..What..is this?"

"Isn't it beautiful?" He ran up the spiral staircase. "It's our castle Eun-ji!"

"Our castle? This is ours!?"

"Guerae!"

I ran to the stairs and began to walk up the spiral staircase as well. "No way! This is so big Taehyung!" I laughed.

When I got to the top he helped me up.

"Wow! We're so high.." I said.

"Hehe. Now we can watch over our kingdom." He said.

I hugged him.

Taehyung hugged me back. "This is the best castle ever..Taehyung." i said.

He giggled.

-end of flashback-

And this castle still stands..

"This is soo dope. I wish I was your friend so I could've came to play with you guys." Jongsuk said.

I giggled. "Yeah..uhm. let's go."

"Ok."

We went down and went back to the waterfall.

"Honestly, this place you call 'paradise' sure is paradise..it's so calm and peaceful here. The water is clear.. that tree house up there is sick. The tunnel holds valuable stones..man I could totally live here."

I chuckled. "Let's get back to the farmhouse."

Jongsuk gladly got back on the horse, he held on to me as we rided back.

After I put Scarlett back in the farmhouse we went back into my parents house.

"Eun-ji! Come! Taehyung is on TV!"

I went straight to the living room and watched the tv.

I smiled lightly.

He's performing on stage.

Jongsuk: daebakk

Dad: That boy grew so much.

Mom: Oh he's so handsome!

I miss him..

I'm glad he's having fun on stage and entertaining his fans. His career comes first

After another 3hours Jongsuk and I said goodbye to my parents and went back home. He dropped me off.

"Thank you Jongsuk, I'm glad you came with me to celebrate my moms birthday." I smiled.

He smiled. "It was an honor Eun-ji, and thank you for showing me such a cool place." We giggled. He sighed, "go on upstairs. You got work tomorrow."

I leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Goodnight."

He nods.

With that I got out of his car and waved as I watched him drive off. Then I went on inside.

As soon as I got to my apartment I plunged myself on the bed and fell asleep.

Today's the day!

My baby comes home~

I can't wait to hear all about his promotions and any funny stories he has to share with me.

I also have many stories to tell him.

I'll start off with the few visits to our 'kingdom'

Jongsuk and I went back there a few more times, we did a lot. I gladly showed him what I did to have fun around there.

We jumped off the waterfall, went swimming in the lake, redecorated the tree house, explored more of the forest. Almost everything.

So many memories came rushing back to me, I relived a lot of moments with Jongsuk. Of course I first experienced them with Taehyung, however I can't wait to remind him just how much fun it is in that place.

Overall I can't wait to see him.

Although, he hasn't answered my messages, or called.

Maybe he's getting settled in.

-several hours later-

-knock knock-

I opened the door. "Hey Jongsuk."

"Eun-ji? What's up? I got your message."

I sighed and plunged myself on the couch. "Jongsuk am I ugly?"

"What? No?"

"Then why hasn't Taehyung called? I know he's done promoting..why isn't he coming?"

He sighed. "Maybe Taehyung is busy."

"But he's updated on Twitter. He isn't busy at all..he updates but he doesn't call me back. Jongsuk, he's avoiding me."

"Don't say that. Maybe he's going to surprise you?"

"Doubt it.."

Taehyung isn't like this, why is he acting this way? Did he perhaps forget me?

I have a really bad feeling..

For the next hour, Jongsuk consoled me.

"There there Eun-ji..he'll come."

I sobbed.

-knock knock-

I gasped.

"See? I bet you that's Taehyung." He went to answer the door.

I sat there with suspense.

He opened the door.

*gasp*

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"

What the hell?

-PUNCH-

I screamed and ran to the door.

My eyes widen as I watched Jongsuk fall to the ground unconsciously.

"TAEHYUNG WHAT THE HELL?!"

"SO IT'S TRUE?!" He yelled.

"What?! Whats true?"

"You're dating this imbecile!"

My eyes widen. "EXCUSE ME?!"

"Yeah! Don't think I'm such an idiot! How could you do this to me Eun-ji?!"

"Taehyung I don't know what the fuck you're talking about!"

"You don't?! Then explain this!"

He put his phone in my face. It took me a moment to realize what he was showing me.

It was pictures of Jongsuk and I at paradise, laughing and smiling. And other pictures, such as me holding on to his arm while we walked. Us getting off work.

Who took these pictures?

"Ring a fucking bell?!" He yelled.

I stared into his eyes. "No..these aren't what they look like! Jongsuk and I have nothing going on Tae!"

"Oh yeah? Then explain these pictures! What is he doing at your parents house huh?! Why is your mother hugging him?! Why is he on Scarlett?! Huh?! Wae?!"

"Taehyung you're misunderstanding everything!"

"At first..I kinda thought I was."

"Huh?"

"That was until I found this picture!"

My eyes widen.

This looks totally wrong but it isn't what it looks like.

A picture of Jongsuk and I in the lake, my arms are wrapped around his neck. We look like were kissing but..no we didn't kiss. I remember that time.

-flashback-

"On the count of 3!"

"No! Eun-ji this is insane!"

"What? You never jumped off a waterfall before?"

"No! I never did!"

I giggled. "Hold my hand, it'll be over before you know it."

He smiled and held my hand.

"Ha!...dul! Se!" We both ran and jumped without hesitation.

Our bodies splashed into the lake as we fell right in.

Within seconds I rose to the surface and gasped for air. I pushed my hair back as I searched for Jongsuk.

Seconds later he rose to the top gasping for air, I swam over to him.

He clenched on to me. "Oh my gosh oh my gosh.." he shivered.

"Did that scare you?"

"Yeah..look.." he touched his forehead. "I'm bleeding..i hit my head.." his eyes got watery. "I got hurt..what if I had died?!"

Aigoo

He actually looks traumatized.

I wrapped my arms around him and washed off the small cut with water. "You'll be fine..it's just a small cut. I'm sorry Jongsuk.."

He sobbed lightly. "It's okay.." he took a deep breath.

-end of flashback-

"YOU LIAR!" Taehyung screamed.

"NO TAE IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE!"

"DON'T TELL ME HE'S JUST A FUCKING FRIEND BECAUSE HE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE JUST A FUCKING FRIEND!"

My breathing grew heavy. "Fine! I won't! If you want to believe what you hear and not ask for an explanation then be my fucking guest!"

"Believe what I hear?! What more is there to believe?! The proof is all over the internet!"

"You are misunderstanding everything!"

"I am NOT blind Eun-ji!"

"Clearly you are!"

"Ugh! I'm done with this!"

My heart shattered.

"What?" I said.

He walked away.

My vision got blurry due to the tears. "Taehyung wait! What do you mean?!"

He said nothing as he stumbled downstairs.

I heard the entrance door slam shut.

I yelped.

Angrily I slammed my door shut.

I covered my face and cried.

Suddenly I gasped when I felt two arms embrace me. "Let it all out.."

Jongsuk..

I turned around and hugged him tight as I cried more hysterically.

Taehyung is a fucking idiot!

How could he misunderstand ?!

I mean i know why but why would he believe it and not ask for an explanation?! How could he think I would do such a thing to him!?

Was it wrong of me to have fun with Jongsuk because he's a boy?!

So what? Am I supposed to stay in my house 24/7 until Taehyung was done promoting?!

Absolutely not!
