Chapter 36

Two weeks since Finn's funeral but everyone is moving on. The show must go all over the place or something and we have to live and build his dream to come true. So we are back to be normal now.

Kurt is still staying in Lima. And I'm in charge to convience him to stay so Blaine can propose him. Well, I will do that for my best friend.

Now back to glee club and back to choir room. I'm sitting down on the middle row next to Jake as Jake put his hand around my shoulder and Mr. Schue walks in.

Mr. Schue wrote 'The Beatles' on the white board and everyone start cheering and applauding happily.

"I don't think we've ever spent two weeks on an assignment, Mr. Schue." Tina says to Mr. Schue.

"Hey, the Beatles are so epic that we need two weeks to do them justice. This week is all about the early years of the Beatles when all they had was a belief in each other and a belief that together they could do anything." Mr. Schue says to us.

"Uch. The school year seems like it's never-ending and now we're wasting two whole weeks on a band from the 1940s? Seriously, can anyone still relate to the Beatles?" Kitty frowns.

"Pretty much the entire world." Blaine says to us.

"Yeah. I can definitely still relate." Ryder simply said.

"Yeah. Why? Were the Beatles dyslexic and catfished by transsexuals?" Kitty asks Ryder.

"And you wonder why everybody hates you." Tina rolls her eyes.

"When George Harrison was a kid, he was made fun of 'cause his dad was a bus driver." Marley says to us.

"John Lennon's dad wasn't even around. He walked out of John's life when he was five." Jake says to us.

"I don't really know the Beatles. I'm a little on the black side." Unique simply said.

"And Ringo Starr was a sickly little kid which probably means he was sitting down a lot." Artie says to us.

"And they decided to form a band, which changed the world. You guys are gonna have to challenge yourselves this week. Bring your A+ games. Perform these classic songs in new and exciting ways. If we can push ourselves to a whole new level, like the Beatles did constantly we can win back-to-back national championships and form a New Directions dynasty." Mr. Schue says to us.

The bell rings.

"All right. See you guys tomorrow." Mr. Schue says to us.

I stand up from my seat and take my ransel and walk out from the choir room with Jake next to me. Blaine suddenly blocks our way and grins at me.

"He will stay for another week. If you dont propose him this week, I cant convience him anymore." I simply said to Blaine.

"Can I borrow her for a while?" Blaine grins at Jake.

"Sure thing." Jake chuckles and nodded.

I roll my eyes and Blaine takes my hand then walks lead me. "What happen this time?" I ask Blaine.

"I will tell you later." Blaine simply said until we both enter the Student Council Meeting room and Sam is sitting down there alone.

"Why are you bring her to this? She wouldnt agree with that." Sam frowns.

"Dont start to make inside joke or inside secret." I glare at them and sit down on the table.

"So my beloved friends. I decided to make a a cute proposal, and I want gay marriage to be united with straight marriage so I planned to bring Vocal Adrenaline, The Warblers, and Haverbrook School for the Deaf to this." Blaine grins at us.

"You've got to be kidding me." I frown.

"Shut up." Sam cover my mouth with his hand.

I roll my eyes and give a sign to Blaine to keep talking. "So three of us will convience them to help me. We will go to Carmel High, Haverbrook, and Dalton for this." Blaine smirks at us.

I push Sam's hand away and raise my eyebrows. "What if they dont want to?"

"Yeah, maybe they will be like us first." Sam nodded.

"Well, both of you are weirds so I didnt care about that...but..."

"Okay. I dont wanna help." I cut him off and take my ransel.

"Me too. Thank you, dude." Sam simply said.

"Come on, Sam. We better go home and play with McConaughey than help him." I said to Sam.

"Guys, I'm sorry." Blaine says to us.

"No second chance." Sam simply said to Blaine. "Come on, we better play xbox together." Sam takes my hand as we both walk out from the meeting room.

"Guys, come on. Dont be sensitive like manstruating girl." Blaine blocks our way.

"You called us weird." I cross my hands on my chest.

"And that's bullying." Sam nodded.

"Yes, come on, Sam." I said to Sam as we both walk away.

"Guys! Sam! Kate!" Blaine shouts.

Sam and I keep walking and didng turn around. I know this is always happening. There will be argue in a friendship like this but you know what? Maybe in two hours we will back to be normal again. I know we are crazy.

"And what are we gonna do now?" I turn my face at Sam. "Jake already went to his dance class."

"Wanna go to dog agility course? You can bring McConaughey and I can bring my little puppy." Sam raises his eyebrows at me.

"But I'm hungry. Do you wanna go to Sonic Burger and buy me hotdog?" I grin at Sam.

"Buy yourself." Sam simply said.

"Ugh I hate both of you." I groan.

"Haha just kidding. Come on. I'll buy you one." Sam chuckles at me.

"What about we go home afterwards?" I grin at him.

"I have protection." Sam whisper at me.

"Dont even try." I roll my eyes and walk away.

"Wait for me!" Sam shouts and run to me.

Sam's POV

I'm sitting down on the carpet floor of my room and lean my back against the bed with Kate is sitting down next to me. We are hangin out together and I guess that she has more time to hangin out with us now than with Jake.

I'm eating my potato chips and looking at the tv. Kate moves my hand. I turn my face and right. She is doing it again. Smelling my armpit.

"You have a boyfriend. Smell your boyfriend's armpit." I frown at her.

"I love your body smell. That's it. Especially your armpit so shut up." Kate simply said.

I shake my head and put my hand around her shoulder and kiss her head. Glad that I really love this girl and my love for her is bigger than everything.

"Do you know the new cheerio girl named Bree?" Kate asks me.

"Yeah. Why?"

"She is kinda having eyes on my boyfriend. Ugh I hope that Jake wont cheating." Kate sighs.

"He is stupid if he is cheating on you." I said to her.

"Yeah I know that." Kate chuckles and leans her head on my shoulder. "I'm sleepy, wake me up before the dinner time or at least until my phone is ringing and my dad calls me."

I rub her sleeve and comfort her. I guess that Jake also didnt know that she is the most spoilt one. He doesnt even know her favorite food. And I know this is sucks but just wait and keep waiting for the right time.

I look at her and move her hair from her face. Kate is sleepyhead. She cant live one day without taking nap after school. And she is easy to fall asleep. Even in my arms like this, she can sleep and I know she is sleeping.

I wonder what her and Jake usually did. Because all I know that I know her better than anyone else even better than herself. She is perfect to me.

I rub her sleeve and her hair and kiss her forehead. Since she is dating Jake, I might cant kiss her lips anymore but nobody knows that she is more spoilt at me than to her boyfriend. Only God and I who know that.

I'm sitting down in choir room next to Sam on the corner and cross our hands on our chest. We both still mad at Blaine because they called us weird yesterday and last night Kurt told me that they both are officially getting back together and I told this to Sam and Sam has the same opinion at me.

"Listen up, everybody. Come on. Blaine has a very special announcement to make." Mr. Schue walks in with Blaine follows him.

"That's right." Blaine grins. "So, as most of you know already Kurt and I are officially back together. I know. But what most of you don't know- and this is top secret- is that I'm going to ask Kurt to marry me." Blaine says to them.

They just being quiet and looking at each other. Well, I guess that the others are just not agree with this. Like Sam and I did at first.

"Anyway, I want this proposal to be just incredible. So I'm asking for all of your help. But I'm also asking for some of our competitors' help like The Warblers and Vocal Adrenaline and the Haverbrook School for the Deaf." Blaine says to them.

"Vocal Adrenaline? No, ma'am." Unique shakes his head.

"The Warblers are evil incarnate little craps." Ryder protest.

"Are you crazy? Are you insane? Good God, have you lost your mind?" Tina groans.

"Hey, Tina. Everybody. Hear him out." Mr. Schue says to them.

"Look. I want this to be more than just an ordinary proposal. I want this to be a cultural statement." Blaine says to them.

"Sure you do." Jake simply said.

"Hey, our generation is at a turning point.People everywhere, except, like, Russia are beginning to see that it doesn't matter who you are or where you're from or even what God you believe in. They're beginning to see that people really aren't all that different. And, honestly, if we can get a bunch of cutthroat show choirs to stand side by side and unite in something then anything is possible." Blaine says to them.

"Okay, okay, but Blaine is just using the world of rival glee clubs as a metaphor for this incredible time we're in right now. I still think you're too young." Artie says to Blaine.

"I need you guys help for this." Blaine says to them.

"Well, we will help." Marley nodded and smiles at Blaine.

"We wont help." Sam and I simply said.

"Okay, I'm sorry and I really mean it. How many times I should apologize for calling you both weird?" Blaine frowns at Sam and I.

"That was humilliating." Sam simply said.

"And bullying." I added.

"I'm really sorry. We are weird together. Come on. Help me out. You two are my best friends." Blaine says to us.

"No." I shake my head.

"I didnt mean what I said. You guys are weird but in the right way. Okay. Just dont get mad. I never mad when I'm around both of you and you both start making inside jokes that I didnt understand and makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm sorry okay. I promise it was the last time." Blaine half-smiled at us.

"I'll think about that." I simply said.

"Yes." Sam nodded.

Blaine just built a smile on his face and smiles at us. I frown at him and roll my eyes. This is such a complicated friendship.

I'm sitting down on the sofa in living room with Kurt, Blaine, and Sam. We are watching movie together. And maybe after this we will have sleepover together I guess.

"We all will going to New York together." Blaine grins at us.

"Well, I dont know. What am I going to there then?" Sam frowns.

"You havent receive your letter from Tisch?" I ask Sam.

"I never send a letter to them." Sam frowns at me.

"Ugh yes, it was Artie not you." I simply said.

I turn my face to the tv and eat my chips. My secret almost spreaded out. I sent many application letter to art university in New York with Sam's name without him know that but I hope that he will get that one.

"Sam, you can go to New York without any kind of plan. Three of us will get an apartment and there you can be anything you want to be." Blaine says to Sam.

"I cant live in New York without Kurt. I have to be in the same room with him." I raise my hand.

"What? No way." Blaine frowns.

"My dad rules. Besides you guys dont need to rent an apartment. Rachel and I are fine with that. We also have an empty room space for you guys. We can get bunk bed for Sam and Kate." Kurt says to us.

"Sure thing." Sam nodded.

"That will be fun." Blaine says excitedly.

"Yeah it is." I nodded. Suddenly McConaughey jumps to my chest and lay down on my belly. "Hey, baby." I rub his hairy body.

"Is in your apartment allowed to bring a pet?" Sam asks Kurt.

"Yes. You can bring him if you want." Kurt nodded. "As long as not cat because I'm allergic to that."

"So you dont like that?" Blaine asks.

"I like cats. I like dogs. I like pets but cats leather always make me wanna sneezing and get cold. That's why my mom brough her cat out when I was born and she named her daughter with Kate. Similar pronunciation." Kurt chuckles.

"Mom named me Kate because she was in love with Kate Chopin. She loves red all Chopin's stories." I roll my eyes.

"And why she named you Kurt?" Sam asks Kurt.

"Because she was also love Kurt Cobain." Kurt simply said.

"Yep." I nodded.

I lay my body on the sofa and place my legs on Sam's lap and almost kick his little things. "Be careful. You almost kick my future." Sam frowns at me.

"I'm sorry." I roll my eyes.

I keep watching tv and eating my potato chips. Kurt and Blaine are leaning on each other meanwhile I'm just being bossy here. I love my life sometimes.

I'm sitting down on one of Jake's lap while we are in choir room and waiting for Mr. Schue. I cup Jake's cheek and kisses him softly until I stop and raise my eyebrows at him.

"What?" Jake asks me.

"You kissed differently. Did you kiss someone else?" I frown at him.

"Yes, you this morning." Jake simply said.

"Jake..."

"I'm not kissing anyone else, baby. I swear." Jake says to me.

"Good." I smile at him.

"There will be a new movie in Cinema. Horror one. Do you wanna go with me after this?" Jake asks me.

"Cant. Babe, I'm sorry but I already planned to buy prom stuff with Blaine for the prom next week." I said to him.

"That's okay." Jake half-smiled at me.

"What about tomorrow?" I smile at him.

"Your dying smile really works on me. Tomorrow will be perfect." Jake smirks at me and give me a quick kiss on my lips.

"Okay, guys." Mr. Schue walks in. I turn my face to the front and Jake put his hand around my belly. "Week one of our Beatles fest has been epic. I think we've really unpacked what made the Fab Four such an instant sensation but now I want to turn to their oft ignored middle period." Mr. Schue says to us.

"Mr. Schue, would you say that the early Beatles looked out for each other even when they didn't want to be looked out for?" Tina asks Mr. Schue.

"Well, if I understand your question, Tina yes, the early Beatles always had each other's backs." Mr. Schue nodded.

"In that case, I'm sorry, Artie, but this is for your own good." Tina says to Artie. "Everyone, Kitty and Artie are dating but Kitty's making Artie hide it because she's embarrassed by him and I think that's emotional abuse. Artie is a great guy, and he deserves to be loved openly and proudly and without conditions." Tina says to us.

"For once, we agree." Kitty simply said. "It's true. Arthur and I are dating." Kitty says to us.

"We are? Officially?" Artie asks Kitty.

"And for the record, and not that it's anyone's business especially not yours, Tina Cohen-Agitator - I did want to keep it hush-hush." Kitty says to Tina.

"Because you were ashamed." Tina simply said.

"Yes, Memoirs of a Lame Geisha because I occupy a certain place in the McKinley hierarchy and you all occupy a different, lesser place in that hierarchy and before exploding said hierarchy by jumping up and down on Oprah's couch declaring my undying love for someone who is let's face it, not my usual body type I wanted to be sure." Kitty says to us.

"Of what?" Marley asks.

"That I really, really liked him. And that I would be willing to risk not just my social standing but also getting hurt by letting him wheel into my heart.bAnd even though I know he's getting ready to graduate and we're probably just as doomed as every other sad, broken, backwards relationship that's ever started in this Jesus and love-forsaken choir room." Kitty says.

"Kurt and I will have a happy ending." Blaine protest.

"But I do like you, Artie. You make me laugh and not just with those stupid YouTube fail videos you're always showing me. Look, asking you to keep our stuff private wasn't cool, and I'm sorry." Kitty ssys to Artie.

"It's okay, Kitty. But, um, as far as, like, updating my Facebook status.." Artie smiles at Kitty.

"Yes. We are officially, publicly, shockingly a thing." Kitty says to us and she kisses Artie.

Everyone in choir room applauding and whooping for them. I'm totally moving on from Artie to Jake now and as a friend of course I'm happy with this.

The bell rings.

I stand up from Jake's lap and walk out from the choir room with Jake holding my hands and walk behind me. I turn my way to my locker to take my ransel.

"I know it. You're jealous with Artie." Jake says to me and standing in front of me.

"I'm not. Why would I?" I shake my head.

"He is smart, he is better singer than me, he is cute, he is nerdy hot, and you dated him for a year." Jake simply said.

"Yeah but then he cheated on me by sleeping with Brittany." I simply said. "Look, I'm over him okay. I dont need any other guy. I have you. And even though we cant be sweet cute couple whatsoever, I dont care with that. Because I love you and you are special to me. That's it." I said to him and hold his hand.

"I'm so lucky. I'm the luckiest guy in this world to have you in my life." Jake smiles at me.

"Maybe you can follow Blaine and I to the mall today to buy prom stuff." I grin at Jake.

"I'd rather to sleep and dreaming about you than carry you to have shopping." Jake simply said.

"Seriously?" I frown.

"Baby, I love you but accompany a girl to the mall for shopping is so much boring. I got to be honest with that. Okay you can go with Blaine today but tomorrow, you're mine. I will make sure that we will have a perfect date." Jake smiles at me and rubs my cheek.

"Alright." I nodded and smile back at him.

"That's my girl." Jake smiles at me and kisses me softly. "Walk you to the class?" Jake chuckles and shows me his hand.

I smile at him and hold his hand as we both start walking down in the hallways and holding hands at each other. He is super sweet and cute.

I walk down in the hallways and looking for Blaine. I turn my way and see Blaine is standing in front of Jake, Ryder, and Sam in choir room and like they have something to talk.

"You wanna go or teach them how to wear a bowtie?" I raise my eyebrows and walk in.

"Hey, can you call the other girls and Tina especially to come to the auditorium and dress up like 90's girl?" Blaine grins at me.

"For what?" I frown.

"Just do that. Then after that we can go to the mall. Come on." Blaine says to me.

"I swear I dont wanna live with you when you become my brother in law." I shake my head and walk out from the choir room.

That's crazy. I dont have any idea what all those boys gonna do actually. But maybe a little surprise for a romantic promposal. Maybe. I dont know.

"What is happening and why did you make me wear this? I had to break out one of the Grease costumes." Tina walks into the auditorium as the boys are standing on the stage and ready to sing for Tina.

"Tina, I'm Paul. That's George, that's Ringo and black John Lennon." Blaine says to Tina.

"Half black." Jake simply said.

"We love you and this is for you." Sam makes an impression then the music start begin.

"That was awesome but I don't understand what it was for." Tina frowns at those guys.

"Well, we saw how lonely you've been lately." Blaine says to Tina.

"And since we're the only single guys left in Glee Club.." Ryder says to Tina.

"And by single, we mean single prom dates we just wanted to offer our services as dance partner or corsage buyer or just general arm candy for the big dance. So you can pick one, and it's your choice." Blaine says to Tina.

"Obviously, I'm excluded." Jake says and smiles at me and I just can smile back at him.

"Well, it's hard to pick. Ryder has arms and Blaine is my boo but I think I'll go with Sam because he's the least gay and least Asian of all of you and I'm looking to change my patterns." Tina says to them and walks to the stage. "Seriously, though, thank you, guys. I really needed this." Tina smiles at them.

Those guys walks to Tina and hug her. Those guys are really sweet and they want to do this for Tina who were like desperate in love.

Now we are in Dalton Academy. The Warblers, Vocal Adrenaline, Haverbrook School for The Deaf, Santana, Mercedes, and Rachel who extend extra week for Klaine's proposal.

"I dont understand how could you get into Puckerman's zone again and again? You know that first Puckerman cheated on you. And how about the second one?" Santana says to me.

"Jake is different with Puck, Santana." I said to her.

"Yeah different in their style while having sex." Santana simply said and walk out from the toilet.

I roll my eyes and put my chapstick inside my slingbag and waiting for my dad who bring Kurt to come here. Suddenly my phone is ringing and dad called me.

"Dad where the hell are you?" I answer the phone.

"I have no idea what should I say to Kurt. Do you have one?" Dad asks me.

"Okay, you're driving him to the airport right? Just take another path and said to him that's it's faster or the another path is under construction. Lie a bit and he wont kill you." I said over the phone.

"What if he find out?" Dad asks me.

"Well, he always find out about any surprise. At least, all your children." I said to him.

"Alright, alright ten minutes. We'll be there." Dad hung up the phone.

I let out a sigh and put my phone back into my slingbag then walk to the others and sitting down on a sofa in Dalton's living room.

"Where is your dad?" Blaine asks me.

"On the way. He just called. I bet Kurt knew about this." I said to him. "Okay you can make any surprise for him. He will always find out."

"I know that but at least I tried." Blaine simply said.

"And actually, he was kinda checking out my phone and my laptop last night." I giggle.

"Dont need to tell me. I know that." Blaine rolls his eyes.

"I'm sorry. At least I tried." I simply said.

I'm still sitting down and take my phone from my slingbag and start playing games on my phone waiting for Kurt and dad coming.

"Guys! They're coming! Come on get ready!" Rachel says excitedly at us.

I locked my phone and put my phone into my sling bag and then walk to the main hall until the music starr begin and we are singing the backup.

Roses fall down from the roof while Kurt walk down to the strairs until the song ended and Blaine is standing in front of him.

“We met right here,” Blaine told the crowd of family and friends gathered around them. “I took this man’s hand, and we ran down that hallway. And for those of you that know me, know I’m not in the habit of taking people’s hands I’ve never met before. But I think that my soul knew something that my body and my mind didn’t know yet. It knew that our hands were meant to hold each other... fearlessly and forever. Which is why it’s never really felt like I’ve been getting to know you, it’s always felt like I was remembering you from something. As if in every lifetime that you and I have ever lived, we’ve chosen to come back and find each other and fall in love all over again. Over and over. For all eternity. And I just feel so lucky that I found you so soon in this lifetime, because all I want to do, all I’ve ever wanted to do, is spend my life loving you." Blaine says to Kurt and Sam give the ring box to Blaine.

Blaine kneel down on his knee. "So, Kurt Hummel, my amazing friend, my one true love, will you marry me?"

"Yeah. Yeah." Kurt nodded and smiles at Blaine.

They both start hugging each other and kissing at each other then Blaine put that ring on Kurt's finger and applauding filling this room. I'm smiling happily then hugging each other with dad. Finally Kurt is getting married at his 20's.
