Last Plan [S2 Chapter 6 / End]

Present

"We have to do this plan..."Namjoon said once they entered the office after going to the past.

"B-but... there has to be another way.."Taehyung was since upset ever since coming back to the future.

"No Taehyung... if we don't do this, your Father is actually going to die and Taeyung will destroy history."Namjoon sternly answered as Taehyung looked at Y/N, hoping for support from her.

"He's right, Taehyung..."Y/N bit her lip, knowing that although they may never see each other anymore, it has to be done.

"I-I need a minute..."Taehyung sniffled before going out the room.

"Taehyung..."Y/N looked at Namjoon who assured her to go and talk to him before she went out and followed him as well.

Taehyung was crying in his hands as he bent down in one of the empty aisle of the library.

Not was he scared of his own twin brother trying to change the past, but the thought of never seeing Y/N again was the problem.

*sigh* "T-taehyung..."A familiar breathlessly voice called out his name before sitting down next to him.

"S-orry-"He was ashamed of himself for crying in front of the person he loved so he wiped his tears, but Y/N stopped him and hugged him tightly.

"I-I don't want to lose you again Y-Y/N..."He cried in her arms making Y/N tear up by his words.

"I k-now..."Y/N patted his back, feeling as down as he was, but there's no other way.

"But you know... when I first went back to the past there was a very low chance that I would meet you, especially the king of the kingdom... right?"

"But... you and me met for the first time in the kingdom, imagine- what are the possibilities that a future time traveller girl would meet a handsome king like you?"

Taehyung chuckled a little hearing her words, making Y/N smile before continuing.

"Look, I don't know what you believe, but I think that destiny brought us together and it is because of time we get to meet each other in the past and... here we are.. "

Before she could continue, she pulled away from the embrace and held his shoulders, looking in his eyes.

"So if destiny actually believes that we should be together, then... maybe we'll meet each other in the right circumstance and definitely the right time..."

Taehyung looked down realising what Y/N said was right and nodded.

Y/N raised his head and cupped his face gently, making his eyes look at her.

"So let's do this together... okay?"

"So the plan is going to be..."

Namjoon spread out a large sheet of paper as everyone gathered around listening closely to what he was going to say.

Past time (Taehyung's birth)

"R-remove the Queen from her position and one of my sons out of the kingdom, make sure the kingdom doesn't know about my other son.."

Taehyung went back to the past when he was just born as assigned by Namjoon.

He saw his own father still alive and healthy, making him tear up a little, but he shook off his tears focusing again.

Once the advisor left, Taehyung took this opportunity to walk to the king.

"Guards! Why is there an intruder?! Who are you?"The king eyes widened as Taehyung walked up to him but the guards were all gone.

"I'm your son from the future and I'm here to warn you that you're making a bad decision on kicking out mother and your other son."He warned the king as he still couldn't believe it.

"W-why would I believe you?"He tried to act brave, although inside he felt worried and scared.

"If not, the son that you kicked out is going to kill you in your sleep and I'll rule the kingdom,"He ended his sentence before turning around and leaving.

As he was walking out, he slowed down his pace, seeing the King hurriedly telling the guards to stop the Queen and his son to go out.

"It's nice to you again Father... Goodbye."

Y/N stood infront of the time machine and saw the Queen and a baby in her hands entering the room.

"Guards, I will escort the Queen and her son to the future. King's demands."The guards nodded looking at Y/N weirdly before nodding and leaving.

The Queen was crying with tears in her eyes as she looked with pleading eyes to Y/N.

"Don't worry, I'll escort your highness back to the Kingdom. Forgive the King for his deeds because he thought that it was for the best."

"But he kicked us out-"

"I've got it sorted, don't worry Your highness..."

...

"I hope you're right and I hope we'll have a happy family,"The king spoke as he smiled looking at his lover, the Queen.

"Thank you for helping me lady and sir..."The Queen smiled brightly whilst holding her baby in her hands.

Y/N looked at Taehyung before turning to her and nodded before turning around to leave with Taehyung, but he stayed still.

"C-can I hug you one time?"Taehyung asked nervously as the king and queen nodded.

They both embrace him politely as Taehyung held back his tears infront his parents that he hasn't seen for a long time.

"I hope my son will become as handsome as you when they grow up..."The Queen patted his head as making him chuckle.

...

Namjoon: "While you two are doing that, I will go to the time period where Taeyung is and stop him from killing the King."

Past time (The King's 'death')

Namjoon stood behind the door of the king's bedroom after sneaking in the castle and heard that Taeyung was already here.

He opened the door widely, trying to stop Taeyung before he does something wrong, but stopped seeing something unexpected.

Taeyung was crying uncontrollably with his father hugging him tightly and they didn't recognise him entering the room.

"I-I'm sorry son... for leaving you-"The king spoke as Taeyung sobbed in his father's arms.

Namjoon almost teared up seeing their reunion and stepped back quietly seeing that Taeyung changed his intentions.

...

Namjoon: "After we finished, we will meet at present time and Taehyung will end this time travel, so he will have enough time to go back to his time period."

...(Sunset - Davichi)

Present

Y/N and Taehyung already finished their task and was waiting silently for Namjoon to come back.

"Y/N thank you for everything you've did for me..."Taehyung looked at Y/N's side profile as they sat side by side infront of the time machine.

"Thank you too for holding onto me although we were far away, Taehyung..."Y/N turned to him with a bright smile.

They stared at each other's eyes trying to keep the happy mood as they promise each other to end in a happy end instead of crying.

Just then, Namjoon came back, turning their attention back to him and standing up.

"It's time..."

Namjoon looked at the both of them as they gave a firm nod.

They all hugged each other one last time, before Y/N and Namjoon walked out the door.

"Thank you for everything Taehyung, hope you go safely into your time period..."Namjoon looked at Taehyung with teary eyes as Taehyung smiled.

"Don't worry I know what to do, now go..."

Y/N closed the door as Y/N and Namjoon held each other's hand whilst taking steps.

"3... 2... 1..."

...

"Namjoon oppa, I need to go the library to get some books and then I'll buy some lunch. What do want for lunch?"Y/N took her bag and keys as Namjoon looked up from his work.

"Mhm... hotdog please..."He answered as Y/N nodded.

"Alright your majesty, I'll be right back~"Y/N joked around as Namjoon chuckled before sending her out.

...

As you can see every memory of time travelling was erased and their lives just went on normally.

"Alright I think these are all the books I need." She looked at her tower of books that she carried, trying to find her way through.

Suddenly she bumped into someone, luckily, she didn't drop all the books, except one

"Sorry, I didn't see you there..." She apologised as she didn't hear any response from the other person so she continued walking.

*chuckles* "Time travelling to the king... You read keixtae fics too?" An unfamiliar voice spoke, making her stop in her tracks confused.

"E-excuse me?" She asked confused while turning around, before realising that one of her books dropped.

"Oh sorry, yeah...her stories are really interesting and unique." She answered as the other person agreed.

"Seems like you need help, let me help you carry the books." Suddenly the weight of the books got off her hands as he carried the books easily.

As her eyes were opened to see the person's face, Y/N was shocked by seeing the person's face and stared at his face a long time.

"Excuse me? Are you okay?" The person asked worriedly.

"O-oh nothing... You just look handsome... I-I MEAN-" Y/N blushed excessively before covering her mouth in embarrassment.

*chuckles* "Why thank you pretty stranger..."

"I'm Kim Taehyung."

"Thank you for everything Taehyung, see you later..."Namjoon looked at Taehyung with teary eyes as Taehyung smiled.

"Don't worry I know what to do, now go..."

Once the door was closed, Taehyung pressed the hidden button on the time machine before sitting down infront of the machine instead of going to his period of time.

Taehyung smiled before closing his eyes as a tear slid down his cheek.

"I'm going to find you and stay by your side... My love."
