Chapter 19

Misty's POV

I didn't remember what we talked about last night once I woke up. It took me a while to recollect all of my memories that has been stored in my brain. My eyes were still closed and I was still lying on top of Calum. I could hear his steady breaths as his chest rises up and down and the rhythmic pattern of his heart. I wondered how he felt about going on tour. I wondered if he knew that what was happening was a rewind of the last time I had seen him back in High School.

I mentally told myself to not worry about it and just enjoy my time with him while I still had time. Then I realized that if Jess goes with Ashton on tour, then I'll be left behind with the house for 6 months of course.

I thought about it for a moment. I needed to finish school before anything and I needed to work to have a little money for myself as well. I wanted to go with Calum very badly but there was no way I could.

I felt Calum wake up as he inhaled deeply and yawned.

"Hey"

I said as he stretched out his arms and wrapped them around me again.

"Goodmorning beautiful."

His voice was scratchy and deeper. I lifted my head up and gave him a peck on the cheek as he closed his eyes again to try to fall back asleep.

"I'll be right back."

I mumbled as I sat up to go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I had a sudden urge to do something special for Calum today to start off the countdown of when he was going to leave for tour.

Spitting out the foamy toothpaste, I walked back into the room to see Calum scrolling through his phone probably on twitter.

"Morning!"

I said happily as he looked up smiling.

"Morning."

He said in return as he stood up and tossed his phone back onto the bed. Calum walked next to me and hugged me pulling my waist close and looking down on me.

"I'll miss this the most you know."

Calum said his smile fading. I'll miss it to. I leaned up to kiss his frown off his face.

"You know I will to."

I gave him a small smile and unwrapped myself of his strong arms.

"I wish I could stay longer with you."

He said as he sat back down looking up at me.

"And i wish I could go with you."

I wanted to jump into his arms and yell out that I was going on tour with him and everything would be okay.

We would be okay.

I walked over to the dresser and grabbed a pair or jeans and a white and blue striped shirt heading to the bathroom to change. After slipping my shirt over my head I opened the door to see a clothes Calum wearing a blue v-neck exposing his collarbone tattoos.

"What do you wanna do today?"

I went over to the night stand to grab my phone as Calum finished deciding.

"Ashton texted me and asked if we wanted to go eat or something with Jess and him."

He raised his eyebrow at me giving me a look saying 'please say no I want to spend my day with just you'.

"Do you want to? Because-"

"No I want to take you somewhere."

He said cutting off my words.

"I know"

I smiled at him giving him an assuring smile.

"Are you done getting ready?"

Calum said as he pulled on socks.

"Yup Let me just get my bag."

He nodded and grabbed his phone off the bed and slipped it in his pocket.

"Alright let's go!"

He sat up and opened the door walking down the stairs as I followed him. Slipping on our shoes, I turned around and called for Jess.

"Jess?"

I waited for her reply.

"Yeah? I'm here! have a good time!"

She shouted from the kitchen. She probably was eating.

I closed and locked the door behind me before walking to the car door. Calum walked up to the door and opened it for me giving me a hand gesture and bowing down.

"For my lady."

I laughed and got in seat belting myself.

"Where are we going?"

I asked Calum as he closed his door and seat belted as well.

"Surprise"

He smirked and started his car driving out of Jess's driveway. I didn't question him since it was obviously no use so I kept quiet and stared at the glass watching the trees pass by in a blur.

I don't remember falling asleep but I fell a shake on my should as my eyes opened to a bright scenery outside.

"We're here"

Calum said in a small whisper. I groaned and rubbed my eyes trying to rub away the brightness. Calum got out and opened the door for me and held my hand as I stepped onto the graveled ground. I looked up to take in the beautiful beach that lay in front of me. I stood there in awe as if this wasn't real.

"Come on, I need to show you something."

He said as he grabbed my hand and tugged me forward. he took me to a particular part of the private beach with two palm trees overlapping to create a nice cool shade to sit under.

"Wait here. I'll be right back."

And with that Calum jogged back on the trail that he came from leaving me alone to look around.

I paced around looking at the pretty colors of the flowers and trees of the little paradise that was here right in front of me. I wondered if this place was a small unfamous place that not much people knew about. I heard crunching of the sand as I turned around to see Calum holding a duffel bag and dropping it on the ground.

"What's that?"

I asked him confused.

"Just watch."

He began unzipping the bag and pulling out a white and orange striped picnic blanket that was big enough to fit the both of us. He tossed it in the air unfolding it as it landed perfectly on the yellow sand. Then he went back into the bag and grabbed a pair of swimming trunks and pulled it out eyeing me as I widened my eyes.

"We're going swimming if you can't tell."

He smiled cheekily as he pulled his shirt over his head exposing his nicely toned body which was also perfectly tanned. I turned around right before he pulled his shorts down blushing at his carelessness around me. I smiled as he came up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and placing his head on top of mine.

"Your turn."

He mumbled as he placed a kiss on my cheek.

"I didn't bring a bathing suit."

I said disappointedly. Calum didn't tell me to bring anything actually so he can't blame me for this. I crossed my arms as he held onto my shoulders and pushed me forward to the empty duffel bag. Then he reached in and grabbed a pink bikini out of the bag handing it to me.

"Calum."

I whined as he dropped it in my hands.

"Is there a bathroom around here?"

Undressing infront of Calum was the last thing on my mind at this moment.

"Yeah. Over there."

His smile turned into a smirk while he lifted his finger to a bush that was less than 10 feet away from us. I raised my eyebrow at him as he chuckled and turned around covering his eyes.

"Just do it and I won't look."

I could see him smiling from the back of his head.

I gave a loud enough groan so that he could hear and made my way to the tiny bush that should be shielding my naked body. Before I took off my shirt I turned around to see if he was looking or not. Luckily Calum was still turned around with his hands over his eyes and tapping his foot. I laughed to myself and shook my head as I pulled my shirt over my head quickly.
