Chapter 31

19:20, 21 February 2014

I woke to my alarm for the last time, I sat up and stretched. I got up and got into the shower. I dried my hair and body. I straightened my hair and put the top up and curled the rest, lose curls. I applied my makeup and then got changed.

I put on some galaxy leggings and a tight, white belly top. I put on the bracelete Cody got me when we came off of vacation and my necklace he baught me. I walked downstairs and grabbed some food, I sat up on the counter while I ate.

"Ready, good girl?" I heard Trey's voice, I looked up. "Good girl?" I questioned. "So Cody can call you it but I can't?" He faked that he was hurt, I rolled my eyes and jumped off the counter. "It's used in a different context with him." I smiled and walked past him.

"I heard." He followed me. "Maybe next time you knock." I said harshly as I got into the car. "Maybe next time you don't talk to him like that." He said in the same tone. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. "Say it, go on." Trey stopped the car infront of the school, I looked at him.

"Say what you wanna say." "I think you should keep your nose out of other people relationships." "Your my little sister." He kept calm. "I'm not little anymore, I do what I want with my boyfriend and no matter how much you act like you're on my side I know you're waiting for him to slip up." I paused.

"Cody's a better guy than you'll ever be, just because of the things we do when we're alone doesn't change who we are or what we're together for. Keep out of my relationship.. And my room." I added as I got out and slammed the car door, I got my bag from the back and slammed that door too.

"Who upset the beast?" I heard Paul behind me. "Ask my brother." "Damn, what did he do?" "He's constantly in my life." I rolled my eyes. "I hate big brothers." I added. "Hey! I'm a big brother." He defended himself. "Your sister's six." "So is yours." "And they both like Trey." I stated.

"Amy came back home saying about how your boyfriend was fun." He said, I smiled. "They did his makeup and nails, they all fell in love with him." I smiled wider as I told him. "Aw, look at you! You're absolutly beaming." He nudged me playfully, I smiled.

"He makes me happy." I said simply, the bell went before the Paul could reply. "See you later, chick." He walked off, I walked in a different direction. I had first lesson with only Abby and Jess meaning hell now that they hate me.

I sat down at the back as usual, Abby and Jess sat a few seats in front. They kept looking back at me, whispering to each other and then laughing. It carried on for ten minutes until I got tired of watching it. "Do you have something to say?" I sat up.

Everyone in the cass turned to look at me, even the teacher. "Excuse me, Miss Miller?" The teacher asked. "It's nothing Miss, it's just some girls are so petty and stupi-" "I'm sorry Lauren but this really seems like a problem which is not meant for the class room."

"Shouldn't you care about our problems? Being our teacher you should care if there's things troubling us, seriously. You're a shit teacher!" I stood up, everyone in the class looked shocked. "Lauren Miller! Leave this class this instant!" She shouted at me.

"Happily!" I shouted back, I walked out and slammed the door. I walked to the front of the school and got my phone out of my pocket. "Why are you calling me? You're supposed to be in class." Cody answered. "Oh charming." I said sarcastically. "Whatcha want?" He asked. "Are you busy?"

"No, I've just got up." "Can you come and pick me up?" "No, you have to finish." "Either pick me up or I'll walk somewhere and who knows where." I said harshly. "I'm on my way." I heard his keys, I hung up the phone and sat down on the grass.

A quater of an hour later, Cody's car pulled up. I ran over to it and got in. "What's happened?" Cody asked. "Just drive and I'll tell you." He did as he was told, we drove in silence until the highway. "Have you ever sat in a room with someone knowing they're talking trash about you?" I asked.

"Who was it?" "These girls, Jess and Abby. They think I kissed Sam and Abby has a huge crush on him so they hate me. They were just sat there a few seats in front of me and talking about me." I told him, he was quiet for a little while.

"What did you do?" He looked from me to the road. "I shouted at them and then the teacher, I told her she was a real bad teacher. I cursed at her and then walked out." Cody laughed a little. "Damn, baby." "Trey started it." I stated.

"Since when was Trey at school?" "He wasn't." "What did he do then?" "Good girl." I rolled my eyes as I recited it. "I'm sorry." He appologised. "It's not your fault, it's his. He can't leave me alone." I sighed and looked out the window.

"Baby, he's your big brother. He doesn't want you hurt, he doesn't realise he's the one that's hurting you." He sqeezed my leg lightly, I looked at him. "I promise it'll get better." "Can you make it better?" "I will." He promised.

"But you gotta smile." He told me, I smiled. "Good girl." He smirked, I giggled. "That's what I wanted to hear." He smiled and took his hand off my leg. "Hey!" I reached for his hand. "Do you want me to crash?" He asked, I sat back again. "Drive." I smiled innocetntly, he laughed.

"Where are we going?" I asked. "Where do you wanna go?" "Home." "Who's?" "Mine, no one's in." I smiled. "Can we go in the pool?" I asked, Cody nodded. "Let's go to mine to ge-" "I've still got the ones you wore when you were in there with Lilly." I told him.

Cody parked at the beach and we walked to the house, just in case someone came home. "Let's go change." I walked to my room, Cody followed. "You gotta change in there." I pushed him towards the bathroom. "No, I wanna change out there." He stopped.

"Fine, I'll change in there." Cody grabbed my arm before I could walk away. "No." I told him. He pouted at me, I laughed. "Cody, come on." I tried to get away from him but he kept hold of my arm. I heard the front door and looked at Cody, he put his finger on my lips.

"Do you want to see the upstairs or downstairs first?" I heard my mom. "Let's look at the bedrooms and the rest of the upstairs." Another voice said. My eyes got really big. "What we do?!" I whispered loudly, Cody looked around the room. I heard mom walking up the stairs.

"This is my daughter's room." I heard my mom, I ran onto the balcony and locked the doors from the outside. "Get down!" Cody pulled me down, we sat underneath the window. "I would love to show you the view from the balcony." She tried to open the doors.

"The window's open." I whispered to Cody, he nodded. We stayed there for a while, we heard them out in the yard. "Let's go inside." Cody whispered, I got up and slowly unlocked the door. We walked into the bedroom.

"That was close." I breathed as I closed the door. "We gotta get outta here." Cody opened my bedroom door slowly. "They're downstairs!" I reminded. "We're going to have to be quiet." He grabbed my hand and walked out of the room.

We snuk down the stairs, Cody put his hand infront of me as we got to the bottom. The phone started ringing, I ran back up the stairs. "Hello?" I heard my mom. "Yes... No I was not aware.. Well she hans't come home... I have an idea where she is... Thank you for informing me." I looked at Cody.

"I'm in so much trouble." I whispered. "I know." He whispered back. "I'm sorry Sarah but my daughter had left school, they haven't seen her on the site. I'm going to have to go and find her so can we do this another time?" "Sure, do you know where your daughter is? She can't of come home."

"I'm sure she's at her boyfriend's house, or at least with him. She'd never come back here when she knows how much trouble she's going to be in." "Oh right, well tell me if you find her." I heard them walk to the front door, it closed.

I walked back down the stairs and sighed. "Phew, that was close!" I looked at Cody. "We gotta get you out of here." Cody threw his keys in the air and caught them again. His phone began to ring. "It's your mom." He looked at me. "Put it on loud speaker." I told him, he nodded.

"Hello?" "Cody, why is your car parked at the beach?" She sounded mad. "I.. Um.. I-" "Where is my daughter?!" She raised her voice. "I haven't seen her." He lied. "Don't lie to me, young man! I know you're with her and I want to know where!"

"Okay okay! We're at home." He told her, I hit his arm. He hit me back, we started hitting each other. Mom hung up the phone. "Do you want me to die?!" I asked. "I'm sorry!" "For god sake!" I walked into the kitchen, Cody followed.

"I panicked." He defended himself. "You're going to have to do a lot more than that to defend yourself when I get my hands on you!" I threatened. "Watcha gonna do?" He flirted. "I will kill you." I narrowed my eyes at him, the front door opened.

"Lauren Miller! Cody Simpson!" I heard my mom shout. I put my finger on my lips. "We're in here." Cody said, I hit his arm again. "Lauren! You're in so much trouble young lady!" She walked in looking as mad as ever.

"What did you want me to do mom?! They were sat there talking about me the whole lesson, it really upset me!" I pretened to cry. "I was so upset I had to say something and then the teacher stepped in and I shouted at her, I'm sorry mommy. I didn't mean any of it!" I wiped my eyes.

"Oh my baby, I'm so sorry!" She ran to me and held me in her arms, I grinned at Cody. He tried to hide his laugh. "I had no idea you were this hurt about it!" "I ran to Cody because I knew you'd be mad at me and he's the only person I could tell." I lied.

"She was crying uncontrolably." He helped me. "I had to hold her for ages just to get her to calm down." He winked at me. "I'm so sorry mom." I sniffed and rubbed my eyes again. "That's okay, sweetie. I understand." She rubbed my back.

"Can we not tell daddy?" I asked, she nodded. "You can back to work now if you want." I told her. She looked at Cody. "You'll take care of her right?" "Of course I will, no doubt about it." He took me from my mom's arms and held me tightly. I pretened to cry into his chest.

"Okay, I must dash. I love the both of you very much." She sqeezed Cody's cheek and rubbed my back, I waited for the front door to close. "And that's how it's done." I smiled and sat up on the counter. "You better not ever pull that on me." He warned.

"Who says I haven't?" I smiled innocently. "Me. You have no clue how fake it is." "Mom couldn't tell." "Your mom didn't see the grin you gave me. Now make me a sandwich." He clicked his fingers, I laughed and jumped down from the counter.

"Swim over to me." Cody asked. "No, I can't touch the floor." I refused. "So? You can swim." "I know but you don't want to 'swim' you want to do someting else." "Just get here now." "No." He rolled his eyes and turned around.

He rested his chin on the side of the pool and looked out at the veiw of the beach, I quietly swam up to him. I wrapped my legs around his waist and kissed his shoulders. "That feels good, baby." He groaned. I smiled and carried on.

Cody spun me around and leaned me on the pool wall, I wrapped my legs aroun his waist and my arms around his neck. "Kiss me." He whispered against my lips, I bit mine. He watched me. He leaned in and softly bit my lip, he pulled it with his teeth.

I connected our lips, we started making out. After a few minutes I pulled away. "Do it back up." I looked at him, he smirked and shook his head. "Move you arms." He told me with a deep voice, I didn't obey.

"Come on baby, you know you want to." He kissed my neck softly, I put my head back. Cody slid my bikini top off my arms. "If someone comes home, I will murder you." "That's fine with me." He flirted and kissed my chest. I moaned softly.

We kissed and messed around in the pool for a while until I heard a car. "Cody, Trey's home!" "Oh no." He let go of me, I fell in the water. "Where's my bikini top?" I looked around, I found in on the side. I swam over and put it on. "Can you tie it up for me?"

Cody swam over and started to tie it up. "Interrupting something, am I?" I heard Trey. "No." Cody answered. "Looks like it to me." He walked closer the the edge, Cody and I seperated slowly. "I was tying it up." "Hmm." He gave Cody a look and walked back inside.

"He's annoying." I rolled my eyes and tried to swim away, Cody caught me and pulled me back. "Don't pay attention to him, he'll say what he'll say and we'll do what we'll do." "Bu-" "No excuses." He dismissed and let go of me, I swam to the edge of the pool and got out.

"Mom, can Cody and I sleep at Cody's?" "Cody can." Trey walked into the room, I rolled my eyes. "It's fine with me, sweetie." "Okay thanks." I smiled and walked out of the room, I walked to my bedroom. "She said yes." "Okay now we ask my mom." Cody smiled.

He dialed on his phone and put it to his ear. "Hey mom... Can I sleep at Lauren's tonight?... Yes... Of course... We'll just come pick it up in a bit... See you then... Bye." He put his phone down. "It's on." I grinned at him. I got up and packed a bag of things I'll need with me where we're going.

"I'll carry the blankets to the car straight away and then come to say goodbye." Cody said as he picked them up, I nodded. "I'll distract them while you do that." We walked down the stairs and into the living room.

"We're going in now." I smiled. "Where's Cody?" Dad asked. "Oh, he-" "I'm right here." He walked into the room and stood behind me. "Have fun tonight." Mom smiled, I smiled back. "We will." I looked at Cody, he tried not to smirk. "Bye!" We walked to Cody's car.

"What if your mom comes round to mine or my mom goes round to yours?" Cody asked as he pulled out of the drive. "Don't worry, they won't." I told him, Cody put his hand on my leg. "What we doing for dinner tonight?" I asked. "We're getting a take away." I grinned at him.

"Stay here." Cody told me and got out, I watched him walk into the house. I got my phone out of my pocket and looked through twitter. Cody came back after a few minutes. "How come I had to stay here?" "I needed to talk to Alli quickly, without you." He kissed my lips, I didn't kiss him back.

He looked at me, I was giving him an unimpressed look. "It's a secret." He started to drive, I kept looking at him. "You'll find out soon!" He laughed and carried on driving, I looked out the window. "When we get caught, I'm blaming you." I told him.

Cody looked at me. "Why me?!" "Because you're not telling me this secret." I folded my arms. "Fine." "Fine." He poked out his tongue, I giggled. "You wanna go get the chinese now?" Cody sqeezed my leg lightly. "Yeah, it's already nine o'clock and I'm hungry." "Okay."

Once we collected our food we drove to what I've named the haunted house. We were sleeping there tonight, just us. We walked into the house together, Cody layed some candles around and lit them. I watched him do it.

"Wow, you came prepared." "Always be prepared." He layed down the blankets in the middle of the floor and gestured for me to sit down. I placed the food down as I sat down. "I'll be back in a minute." Cody walked towards the door.

"No! Don't leave me here, it's dark!" I begged. "I'm just going to the car." He said and walked out, I looked around the room feeling paranoid. After what felt like forever Cody came back. "You haven't even moved." Cody laughed at me, I gave him a glare.

"I'm here now and anyway, it's safe." He kicked off his shoes and sat down next to me. I took off my shoes too. "We're alone." I looked around the room. "Mhmm." Cody hummed as he got out the food. "I wanna change." I got up and went through my bag.

"What right here, infront of me?!" Cody acted shocked, I laughed. I lifted my shirt over my head and took off my leggings. "Alright, no need to watch me so closely, Simpson." I told him off. He ignored me and kept watching, I laughed.

After I was changed I sat back down and we ate. "So, what now?" I layed back with put my hands behind my head for suppot. Cody lifted my shirt off my stomach and kissed it. He looked back up at me, I knew exactly what he wanted.

"No." I dismissed. "Baby.." He moaned and pulled my pyjama shorts down slightly. I watched him as he kissed along my underwear line. "I said no." I moved my legs, he caught them and started to kiss the inside of my thigh. I stayed still and let him do it.

He kissed up my body as he made his way to my ear. "Are you sure?" He whispered into my ear, I bit my lip. "Aye?" He pressed his lips to mine. I smirked at him as I grabbed the hem of his shirt, I lifted it over his head.

"I love you." He said as I rolled him over and sat on him. I leaned down and kissed his chest, he moved my head lower. I started to kiss his abs. Cody pulled me back up and rolled us over. He lifted my shirt over my head and threw it to the side.
