Chapter 27

I woke to the sound of my alarm, I read the time and groaned. 6:30. I turned off the alarm and walked to the bathroom. I washed myself quickly and then got out. I dried my body and hair and then applied my makeup.

I put on some leggings and a shirt, I threw on a hoodie and some shoes. I tied my hair up into a messy ponytail and put my things into my backpack. I put it over one shoulder and walked downstairs, I made myself breakfast and ate it.

"Ready?" I heard Trey's voice, I looked up at him and nodded. We went outside and got into the car, I rested my head on the window. "I'm dreading this." I moaned, I checked my phone. "Whatever you do, don't text him first." Trey told me, I looked at him.

"I don't know what he did but he needs to know he messed up and he needs to fix it himself." I didn't answer him. We finally pulled up at school, I thanked Trey and got out. "Your brother is so hot." My friend Abby greeted me.

I gave her a weird face, she giggled. "You're boyfriend ain't bad either." She nugged me, I smiled. "Get in line." I told her. "It's a long waiting list." I reminded. I felt eyes on me as I walked to my locker. "How is it dating a celebrity?" I heard someone ask me, I turned to look at what looked like an 9th grader.

"Um.. It's normal." I shrugged and walked away from my locker, I walked to my first lesson and sat at the back. "Morning Miss Miller, it's nice to see you back." My teacher smiled at me, I smiled back.

Cameron, the school hottie sat next to me. "What's up Miller, ain't seen you in a while." He nudged me and winked. I sat up. "Yeah well, you'll be seeing a lot of me this week." I smiled. "I'll look forward to it."

He is so gorgeous, he's a jock. He has caramel brown orbs and his body was muscular. His jawline was perfectly sculptured, his lips were rosy pink and looked so kissable. I had a crush on him since I was in kindergarden. But hey, I have a boyfriend.

"How's Simpson?" Cameron whispered as the lesson began. "Still Simpson." I shrugged. "Did Mr Simpson do something wrong?" "I'd rather not discuss it with you." I leaned back on my chair. Cameron did the same.

"Can I see your phone?" He asked, I passed it to him. "Why?" "I'm just giving it this update which makes it so much better than it was." I watched as he saved his number into my phone with the name 'Cam my baby' I laughed at it.

"See, it's better now." He handed it back. "This will go down well." I laughed. "Hollywood doesn't have to know." He winked. "Hollywood?" I questioned. "Your loverboy." He rolled his eyes. "He has a name." "I'm calling him Hollywood." He dismissed.

Once school was over I rung Trey to come and pick me up and then waited outside on a bench. "Waiting for Hollywood are we?" I heard Cam say. He sat beside me. "No, Trey." "Oh him, him and my sister used to have a thing." He made a face.

I giggled at him. "I'm glad it's over." He said, I laughed. "We should of had a thing, to fit in." He winked. "I have a boyfriend, stop hitting on me." I pushed him playfully. "Oh yeah, you're right. Where is Hollywood right now?" He asked.

"I do-" "Right behind you." I heard Cody's voice. Damn. This isn't good. "What are you doing here?" I asked standing up. "I've come to get my girlfriend." He pushed me behind him and glared at Cameron. "I was just keeping her company." He held his hands up in surrender.

"You're job's done." Cody said harshly. "I can talk to who I want to." I said. "Go get in the car." He handed me his keys. I didn't take them. "No, you can't push me around." "Go get in the car." He said, he clenched his jaw.

I rolled my eyes and did as I was told, I put my feet up on the dashboard. Cody came around the corner looking annoyed as hell. He walked to my side of the car and opened the door. He took my feet off the dash and on the floor and then walked to his side.

"Where are the keys?" He asked without looking at me. "Oh, hey. Yeah, I'm fine thank you. I had a good day at school." I said sarcastically. "Okay, good. Now where are the keys?" "What's with you?" I asked.

"Lauren! Just give me the keys!" He raised his voice, I held them up. He snatched them and started to engine. I put my feet back up on the dashboard. "Take them down." "No." "Take them down, now." "Make me." I tested him.

Cody ignored me, we sat in silence for the rest of the way home. He pulled up on the drive, I got out and so did he. "Leave me alone, go home." I pointed to his car. "Make me." He mimicked me. I pushed him. He didn't do anything, he just glared at me.

I stormed into the house and up to my bedroom. I slammed the door and walked onto my balcony. I sat against the railings. I heard my bedroom door open. "Go away." I didn't bother to look for who it was. "Just putting your bag on your bed." I heard Lilly's voice.

"I'm sorry, Lilly." I appologised, she came outside and sat next to me. She copied the way I was sitting. "Why is Cody angry?" She asked cutely. "I wish I could answer that." I confessed, my voice was shakey. Lilly looked at me. "Don't cry Lauren!" She stood up and hugged me.

I held her tightly in my arms. "You'll sort it out, won't you?" "I will try." "Please do, he won't play with me." She pouted. "Let's go downstairs, yeah?" I stood up. Lilly followed me down the stairs. "You dropped this." Cody said as I walked into the living room.

I looked at my phone with was in his hand. "You have a text from Cam your baby." He said with no emotion. "It's just Cam." I took it off him. "Didn't look like it earlier." "Well at least you knew where I was." I said and turned to walk away.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He followed me, I walked into the kitchen. "Where were you yesterday, the truth." I sat on the counter, Cody leaned against the island infront of me. "Work." "Since when did you not tell anyone you have work?" "How do you know who knew?"

"Cody, stop lying." "I was at work!" "What were you doing at work?" "It doesn't matter." "If you want me to trust you it does." "I'm not telling you, you just have to trust me." "How do you expect me to trust you when you're lying to me?!" I raised my voice.

"I'm organising something for you! I didn't want you to find out so I didn't tell anyone but my dad, no one knows and now it's ruined. It was supposed to be a supprise." I looked away from me. "I'm sorry, I just I-" "You didn't trust me." He stated.

"Why were you being so distant yesterday though?" I asked. "I didn't mean to, I was thinking." "Oh." I looked down. "But it's not ruined, I still don't know what you've planned." I added. "You weren't supposed to know anything because now you're expecting it." He looked me in the eye.

"I'm sorry." I appologised again. "Can I ask you something?" Cody asked, I nodded. "Why were you flirting with him?" He had hurt in his eyes. "I wasn't, you heard me warn him I had a boyfriend." "But he said..He said you were earlier and have been all day." I shook my head.

"I never, I was only talking to him." "He also said you have a crush on him." "I used to." "You did?" He looked even more hurt. "But it was stupid, I love you." I jumped off the counter and moved closer to him.

"I love you too. It makes me crazy." He burried his face in my neck and pulled my body against his. I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with his hair. "I can tell." I laughed slightly.

Cody removed his face from my neck and kissed me passionatly, I stepped backwards. Cody followed me, he lifted me up and put me on the counter. He stood inbetween my legs and held me against him as we made out.

I pulled away and started to kiss Cdy's neck. His breathing got heavier as I did so. "Do you wanna go upstairs?" He whispered. This boy moves way too fast. "No she doesn't." I heard Trey's voice, I froze. Cody and I gave each other a look.

"Funny story actually." I laughed sarcastically. "You can't get out of this, I've been stood here for long enough." He said. "You're in trouble." I whisered to Cody, he laughed. "Well I guess I'm not needed here." I jumped off the counter and walked into the living room.

"I got to the bottom of it." Alli and I said at the same time. We both laughed. "What did he tell you? Let's make sure his story matches." Alli said. "He's planning a supprise for me and we ruined it." I said, Alli nodded. "Yeah, he told me more than that but it's a secret." "No, come on Als!" I begged.

"No, it's a supprise!" She laughed, I screwed up my face. "This isn't fair." I walked outside and sat on a chair next to Angie. "How was school?" She asked me. "Finally, someone cares." I said loudly, she laughed at me.

"It was cool, I guess. I don't like school and your son kind of ruined it but hey." I shrugged. "How did he ruin it?" "I was talking to my friend and he got mad." "Oh yes, he told us about that when he got in. He's the jelous type this one." She said.

"He got real mad for like no reason. He really hurt me too." I rubbed my leg. "How did he do that?" My dad asked. "I had my feet on his dashboard because I know he doesn't like it and then he came over to my side of the car and put them on the floor but he did it really roughly and it hurt." I pouted.

"It wasn't that rough." Cody lifted me up and sat on the chair. He placed me on his lap, I swung my legs over the arm of the chair and leant against him. "Why didn't Trey come and get me? He said he was." "He asked Cody to do it." Brad said.

Lilly came outside with only her bikini on and some sunglasses. She walked like she was on the catwalk, Cody whistled at her. She grinned at him, I giggled. "Looking good, Lilly." My dad laughed. "I want Cody to teach me to swim more." She pouted.

"I can't swim, I don't have anything to wear in the water." He said, she put her hands on her hips. "But if you wait, I'll go get something." She grinned at him and jumped up and down. "You don't have to Codes." I told him.

"Nah, come on." He got up. "We'll be back in a bit." Cody pulled me through the house and out the front door. "I don't want to come with you." I moaned as I got into the car. "Yes you do." He said and started the engine.

I followed him up the stairs to his bedroom, he searched through his closet and then came out with some swimmers. "Can we go now?" I asked. Cody pushed me back on the bed and kissed me hard. I kissed him back.

He moved us up to the head on the bed and began to kiss my neck. I let out a small moan. "Cody, we can't do this now." "Yes we can, we're alone." He pulled up my shirt and kissed my stomach. "No, I don't want to and you can't make me." I pushed his head up.

"You do want to though." He insisted. I shook my head. "You really think they're going to buy that it took more than fifteen minutes to come here, get swimmers and go again?" "They're not keeping track of time." He tried to kiss me but I moved my head.

"Come on, get up." I pushed his body off me, he layed on his bed. "Come onnnn." I pulled his arm, he didn't move. "Codyyy." I pulled harder, he laughed at me. "You're so weak." He got up, I walked downstairs and outside.

"It's open." Cody said as he locked the front door. I got in the car, he got in too and pulled out of the drive. He placed his hand on my thigh, his thumb lightly rubbed my leg. I waited for him to turn off the engine once we pulled up on the drive.

I went to open the door but he pressed the lock button, I turned and looked at him. He puckered his lips and closed his eyes, I giggled and kissed him. He pressed the button again and I opened the door, we walked into the house.

"Took you long enough." My dad said as we walked outside, I sent Cody a smug look. "Traffic." He said, my dad nodded. Cody sent me back a smug look, I rolled my eyes. "Go change!" Lilly pushed him inside. "Lauren you too!" She came back and grabbed my hand.

I went to my room and changed into my bikini, I walked out of the bathroom to find Cody. He bit his lip as he looked me up and down. "Like what you see?" I asked. He nodded. "Way too much." He pulled me into him.

He cupped my face with one of his hands and kissed me, I kissed him back. His other hand held me against him tighly. I heard a knock on the door, we both ignored it. Someone cleared their throat I turned to see Lilly looking mad.

"I'm not impressed." She had her hands on her hips and was tapping her foot on the floor. We laughed at her. "Come on then." Cody lifted her up and walked downstairs I followed after them. "Okay, first things first. Is the pool cold?" He dipped his toe in and then jumped back.

"Yes it is." He said, we all laughed at him. "Is it really cold?" Lilly asked him. "You tell me." He threw her in the pool. "You're evil! She's only six!" I walked over to him. "You're 16 so I can throw you in." He lifted me up.

"Nooo!" I screamed. "I don't want to get wet!" I held onto him tightly. "Too late!" Threw me in. I resurfaced and narrowed my eyes at him. Lilly started giggling I looked at what she was looking at, Alli and Trey pushed Cody into the pool.

After a while I got out of the pool and layed on a sunbed. I watched as Cody taught Lilly different strokes and things, it was cute. We ate dinner together and then I went to get ready for bed. I put Cody's shirt on as he left it on my bed.

He came in the room to change, he picked up his clothes and walked into the bedroom. I went to say goodnight and then got into bed. I turned on the tv. Cody came out of the bathroom and got under the blankets with me without saying a word.

"Don't think you got away with stealing my shirt." He whispered after a few minutes. "I'm not taking it off." "I'm not driving home shirtless." "I'm not sleeping shirtless." I refused. Cody got up on his hands and knees and pulled the bottom of the shirt up.

I held onto it before it went over my head. "No, it's the only thing I have on." I refused. "You have panties on." He looked down. "But nothing else." "I don't care." He continued to lift it off me, I covered myself and pouted.

"I'll keep you warm." He lowered his body onto mine, I wrapped my legs around his waist. "I wouldn't tease me." He warned, I let my legs fall onto the matress. "I don't want you to go." I moaned and kissed his shoulder.

"I don't want to either." He burried his face into my neck and kissed me. "Don't." I stopped him. "Why?" "If someone came in they'd get the complete wrong idea." I pointed out. "No one's coming in, stop worrying about what other people think." He told me.

"But I do worry." "You don't need to. And anyway, it's only me who gets in trouble so oh well." He kissed my lips, he moved his lips from mine and made his way down to my chest. "No, Cody. Not tonight." I moved his head away.

"Please?" He begged, I shook my head. He sighed and got up. "That doesn't mean you have to leave." I said, he walked to my closet and got out a tank. "Put this on, it's not fair other wise." I giggled and put it on.

He got back under the sheets and held me protectivly, I rested my head on his shoulder. "I'll pick you up again tomorrow." He said. "Yes please." "Just don't be with that douche." "Call me from the car." "No, just don't talk to him." I didn't reply, I didn't want to make him angry.
