Chapter 14

"Lauren, wake up sweetie." I felt someone shake me. "No, go away." I pushed their hands away and rolled over. "Come on, get up." My dad's voice told me. "Daaaad.." I moaned. "I'm sleepy." "You have to get up, Lon." I opened my eyes.

"You can sleep on the plane and then Cody can go through the pain of waking you up." He told me. "Fine, I'll go change." I got up, grabbed the outfit Cody and I left out and then walked into my bathroom.

I changed into my sweats, tank top and a hoodie. I put face powder and mascara on with a little bit of lipgloss and then tied my hair into a messy bun. I walked back out of my bathroom and packed my carry on bag.

I put on my ugg boots and walked downstairs with my bag. "Dad, can you bring down my suitcase?" I asked sleepily. "Yeah." He walked upstairs, I walked into the kitchen and made myself some cereal.

"How are we getting to the airport?" I said loud enough for him to hear from upstairs. "Angie and Brad are taking you." Dad answered, I nodded and continued to eat. The door bell rang. "I'll get it." I said and walked to the door, I opened it with my foot as I had my bowl in my hand.

"Hi." I smiled and shoved some more food in my mouth. "How can you eat at three in the morning?" Cody asked me. "Have we not met?" I asked and walked back to the kitchen. I put my bowl on the side and then walked back to the door.

We said our goodbyes to my dad, I asked him to say goodbye to everyone when they wake up and then we went to get into the car. I fell asleep on the way to the airport.

"No, Alli! Shut up!" "He really loves her and they've only been together a week." I heard Alli's voice, she laughed. "Alli!" Cody shouted, he sounded annoyed. I moved slightly but didn't open my eyes. "You're going to wake her up." "You're the one shouting."

"You're both being loud." I said without opening my eyes. They both shut up, I opened my eyes. I was on Cody's lap and Alli was oppisite. Matt was next to her and Justin was next to us. "Oh hi guys." I smiled.

"Hey." They all said in unison. I looked at Alli, it was really awkward. "Why is everyone looking at me?" I asked confused. "We were just talking about you." Justin said. "Oh yeah?" "Yeah, Cody was saying he-" "He wonderd when we're going to land." Cody finished Justin's sentence.

I looked at him confused, he didn't look at me. "a half hour." Matt told him. "I've been asleep for that long?" I asked. "You hardly managed to stay awake while pulling out of your drive." Cody said.

"Seriously?" "Yeah, you put your head on my shoulder and fell asleep straight away." "Sorry." "It's fine, it was cute." He kissed my forehead. "How was it that you two hated each other two weeks ago?" Matt asked, I shrugged and looked out the window.

We finally landed in Ireland, we got a car to the hotel. "Jake!" I shouted and ran through the lobby, I hugged him. "I missed you." I told him. "I missed you too." I pulled away from the hug, everyone came over and greeted him.

"How long have you been here for?" Cody asked him. "Not that long." "Okay, good." Matt and Cody checked us all in. "What are we doing for rooms?" I asked Justin. "Matt and I will be sharing one, You and Alli and Jake and Cody." "But I wanna share with Cody." I moaned.

"Why?" Jake asked me. "Oh yeah, you don't know do you?" "Know what?" "They're dating." Alli said. "I knew it! I saw loads of pictures of you guys together and I thought that wasn't right and then I saw some of him kissing your stomach and I thought 'what?'" I laughed.

"Alli, do you mind sharing with Jake?" Cody asked as he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me, he rested his chin on my shoulder. "What kind of room is it?" "There's two double rooms." "Yeah." Alli agreed.

"Is that alright with you Jake?" He asked. "I've lost my best friend to some girl." Jake pretended to be upset, I laughed at him. "Seriously Jake?" Cody asked. "Yeah, it's cool." "Good, we have a room together." Cody told me and kissed my cheek.

"Is our room like theres?" I asked. "Yeah." "Well then don't annoy me." "Why?" "There's two beds." I told him and walked towards the elevator. The workers were going to bring up our luggage in a bit, I checked out the room as soon as I got in it.

As soon as you walked in you were in the living room, it had a massive window with a beautiful view. To your right was a small kitchen and then your left there is three doors, one was a bedroom which had an amazing view with a bathroom attatched. Another door lead to a bathroom and the third door lead to another bedroom but this one didn't have a bathroom attatched.

"Where are these going?" Cody asked as he carried two suitcases to where I was. "Shall we put suitcases in the room we're sleeping in or the other one?" "The other one so we have space." "That room then." I pointed to the room without the bathroom attatched.

"Okay." He walked in there with the cases and then put the rest in there. I set up my things on the nightstand that I wanted to sleep by. "Hey." I heard Alli and Jake say, they jumped on the bed. "Sup." I answered.

"Matt's looking for you." Jake said as Cody walked in. "Where is he?" "His room." "Alright, I'll be right back." "Oh Codes!" Alli called after him. "This is our spare key, you should have it just in case you need us."

"Alright, ours is on the counter. You guys can have it just in case you need us." I heard him say. "So Jakey, how's Australia?" I asked and layed on the bed. "It's cool, we miss you all out there." "I miss you guys too."

"Poppy was asking to talk to you and Alli the other day." Poppy is Jake's younger sister, she's four. "Aw, you should of called us." "I didn't know whether you were busy or anything." "Oh, okay." I shrugged it off.

Jake, Alli and I were watching the tv in the living room when I heard a knock at the door. "Justin! Come in." I greeted, he walked in. "Are you guys coming to Cody's interveiw and photoshoot?" He asked.

"Is it now?" I asked as I sat on the arm on the couch. "Yeah, him and Matt went to get some groceries and then went to the studio for the interveiw." "Okay, let's go." "I'll get security, there's loads of fans outside." He walked out again.

"Oh my gosh! Look at this!" I said as I looked out the window, there was hundreds of people outside the hotel. "It's amazing what you miss when you're hating on someone." Alli playfully pushed me, I ignored her. It was amazing to me how this one boy can be loved by so many millions of people across the globe. Just wow.

When we got to the building, there was people outside. I was so over whelming that it was all for Cody, seriously. Anyway we got inside and Alli and Jake went to Cody's dressing room, I went to find Matt.

"Hey." I greeted. "Hello." He smiled at me and then back to what he was watching. I followed his eyes to Cody, a woman around 20 was talking to him and there was an audience of around 100 people. Matt and I weren't in sight.

"Has he said about me and him yet?" I asked. "No, he's waiting for her to bring up his dating life." "Okay." We watched for a while and then the question came.

"So, we've all seen pictures of you and your 'friend' Lauren Miller before but these recent pictures that have been published are a lot different. Are you and Lauen dating?" The woman asked, Cody's eyes locked with mine. My heart stopped.

Cody smiled at me, I felt more relaxed but then he broke the eye contact and I started to worry again. "We've known each other for the whole time I've lived in L.A but only recently have we taken it to the next level. She is my girlfriend, yes."

"And are you in love?" "We've only been together for a week but I can see it turning into something much more serious. I mean you can see her." He pointed at the picture of us on the screen. "She's so beautiful and sweet and funny, she's amazing. This doesn't mean I love my Angels any less but I can deffinatly see myself falling in love with this girl for sure."

I felt my cheeks heat up and I found myself smiling like an idiot. Matt laughed at me so I hit him playfully. "Is she here today?" "Yeah, she's right over there." The woman turned and looked at me, I moved slightly behind Matt.

"She's even more beautiful in real life!" The woman complemented. "Yeah, she is." Cody smiled at me, I smiled back. I looked at Matt for what to do, it was really awkward and I deffinatly didn't like all those people looking at me.

After Cody was done he came over and hugged me. "You did great, Codes!" I kissed his nose, he kissed my lips. "Thank you." "Good job, man." Matt patted his back. "Thanks." They did a bro hug, we walked to Cody's dressing room hand in hand.

Cody changed and then we were walking to the exit together. I felt like I was being watched, I looked behind me. There was two girls in Cody Simpson shirts. They whispering to each other, I could tell they were saying things about me.

I looked at Cody, he looked at me and then behind us. "Ignore it baby, not everyone's going to like you." He kissed my head and pushed me out the door. We were escorted to the car and went to the building that Cody had a photoshoot at.

"Cody, we need you to change straight away." Someone said as they took Cody and walked off. I stood there and watched them walk away. "You'll get used to that." Justin told me, I looked at him confused.

"You'll just be talking to him and then someone will come and take him, you need to get used to that." "Okay." I smiled. Flo walked in with his camera, he's recording the Paradise series. "Flo!" I greeted and did a bro hug thing with him.

"I'm hungry." I moaned. "Where's Jake and Alli?" "They got bored and went back to the hotel." "Oh great, I have no friends." Matt laughed at me. "I'm being serious, Cody's working so all I have is you guys to talk to." "I'm sure Cody will take you to get some food when he's done."

"He better." "Does this look alright?" Cody asked as he walked out of where he changed, I looked him up and down and then nodded. Cody checked himself out in the mirror. "Don't you like it?" I asked.

"It doesn't look right." I got up and walked over to him. "First of all, put your collar down." I did it for him. "Your belt is twisted and you have two different shoes on." I redid his belt for him and then went to find a shoe to match one of the ones on his feet.

"You need your momma." I told him as I passed him his shoe. "I'm tired, give me a break." "I'm hungry so hurry up." "Fine." He kissed me and then walked off again.

We got a car back to the hotel before Cody got off work so I decided to shower and change into a onsie. I made myself a hot chocolate and watched some tv on the couch. I'm so tired right now and real hungry.

"I got my baby some food!" Cody sung as he walked through the door. I set my mug on the side and walked over to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, Cody wrapped his around my waist. "What did you get me?"

"What is your favorite thing to eat?" "McDonalds?!" I asked, Cody smiled. "I love you!" I shouted and unwrapped the food. I sat on the couch with it, Cody joined me with some too. "Thank you." I thanked and ate my food.

"I watched your interview when I got back." I told him. "Did I do okay?" "Yeah, you were really cute when she asked about us." I smiled as I pictured his reaction in my head. "You had the corniest but cutest smile ever." I giggled.

"You hid behind Matt when we looked at you." Cody laughed "There was loads of people!" I defended. "Anyway, how did she know my name?" "Your twitter probably or just because I might of said it at some point."

"It felt strange." "Why?" "There was pictures of me and they knew my name, it's just not normal. It may feel normal for you but you've had years of it." "True." "I've only ever been to one event with you and I didn't like you at the time so I didn't really think much of it."

"Maybe next time you can enjoy yourself and take it all in." "Next time?" "Yeah, Matt was saying to me about an award show I have been asked to go to." "Are you nominated?" "Yeah, for Best Australian and Best International."

"Wow." "Oh and I've been asked to perform too." "What will you sing?" "La Da Dee or Pretty Brown Eyes." I nodded and got up to put our things in the trash. "Hey, can I ask you a question?" Cody followed me.

"Sure." I smiled. "Promise me you won't freak out." "What is it?" "And you can't say no straight away." "Cody.." "Okay.. Well will you perform with me?" "What?! Are you cra-" "As my dancer, be my dancer. Please?"

He pulled me into him, I put one arm around his neck and rested my other hand on his chest. "I don't know, I'm not tha-" "You're an amazing dancer, you've always said you wanted to dance for like Justin Bieber or someone so why not me?"

"That was like my dream for when I get older, not now." "Why not do it now? You'll get confidence and yo-" "Cody, I'm not sure." "Come on, it'll be really fun and if you really like it you can dance for the tour."

"Woah! Calm down!" I pushed him backwards. "I'm not doing that! You perform infront of millions of people!" Cody laughed at me. "What?" I asked. "Not millions." "It seems like it." "Please, just think about it." "I'm not making any promises." I walked past him.

"You forgot something." Cody turned around, I looked at him confused. He closed his eyes and puckered his lips up. I laughed and kissed him.

Cody recieved a text, he looked at it and then looked back at me. "Get ready, we're going out to dinner." "With who?" "The crew." "Everyone?!" "No, Matt, Justin, Floe and Jake and Alli." "I wanna go see Alli." I moaned.

"Go see her then but you have an hour to get ready." "I'll be 10 minutes." I kissed his lips, grabbed the spare key to Jake and Alli's room and left. I unlocked their door and walked in. "Alli?! Jake?!" I shouted as I couldn't see or hear either of them.

"In here!" Jake shouted, I followed his voice. "Lauren, what are you wearing tonight?" Alli asked me the second I walked into her bedroom. "I'm going to wear my black dress." "Which one?" "The one with the low cut V neck."

"Little black dress." Jake acknoledged. I nodded. "Is that the one that's quite tight?" "It's quite short too, but it's not too much." "Yeah, it's one of my favorites of yours." "What are you wearing Als?" I asked.

"My simple white one." "That's a cute one." "Cute and sexy, perfect match." Jake joked, we both hit him playfully. He laughed. "White heels too?" I asked. "Yeah." "Okay, well I'm going to get ready now. Oh wait.. Straight or curly hair?" I asked.

"Straight." Alli said, Jake shook his head. "No, curls." "Which one guys?" "Do it where you have it straight but then curls on the tips." Jake suggested. "Yeah!" Alli said enthusiastically. "Okay, see you in a bit."

"Remember matching underwear if you wanna impress Cody." Jake winked. I threw a pillow at him and walked out of their room. I walked back to my room and went into the bathroom, I showered quickly and then once I was out I grabbed a towel.

I made sure my hair wasn't dripping and then wrapped the towel around my body. I walked into the bedroom and got out some black laced underwear and my black dress. "Cody?!" I called loud enough for him to hear me, he was in the shower.

"Yeah?" He asked. "What are you wearing?" "Black jeans and a shirt." He asnswered. "Okay." I got out a shirt of his that I though was nice and would look good with my dress, I also got out his jeans and then I put my underwear on.

I dried my hair, straightened it and then curled the ends. I did my make up and walked back into the bedroom. "You could just wear that." Cody told me as he looked me up and down. I rolled my eyes at his boyish ways.

"That would make an amazing inpression." I told him and got out my heels. They were black and quite high, they had a sparkly, silver rim around them. I put my perfumes on I noticed Cody's eyes were on my body so I put my dress on.

"Can you zip me up?" I asked him, he starred at me for a few more second and then shook it off. "Huh?" He asked, I laughed. "Can you zip me up?" "Oh sure." He got up and stood behind me.

He gently moved my hair onto my shoulder and slowly zipped up my dress. He moved my hair back off my shoulder and placed his lips there instead, he slowly made his way up to my neck. I moaned softly.

"We have to go Cody." I whispered, he kissed my ear softly. "We can be a few minutes late." He whispered against my ear. It sent shivers down my spine, his voice was so deep. My legs went weak as he continued to kiss my neck.

"Cody.." I moaned, he ingored me and carried on. I found some strength inside me and pushed him back with my hips. Cody caught my hips and pulled me with him. "Nice try." He whispered, I smiled slightly.

"You smell so good." He said against my neck as he continued to kiss me. We heard someone clear their throat, we both looked to the door to see Jake and Alli stood there. I moved away from Cody and put on my heels.

"Some warning would of been nice guys." Cody said as he put his shoes. "We weren't that quiet while coming in, we had no clue you were doing this." Alli pointed out. "Doing what?" "Don't play dumb, bro." Jake laughed, I laughed.

"Let's go." "Can't be late." Alli said. "Not even by a few minutes." Jake teased, Cody pushed him playfully. "You said it, not me." He put his hands up in surrender. "To her, not to you." He said, Alli and I laughed.

"Sorry we're late." Cody appologised as we met the others in the lobby. "Some of us were a bit busy." Jake teased, I laughed. Cody sent me a look. "I'm hungry." I changed the subject. "Let's go then."

We were escorted out of the hotel, there was pictures being taken in all sorts of directions. It was so loud with all the screaming and people were grabbing Cody's shirt and things. It was so crazy, almost scary.

Once we got to the restraunt there were a quite a few paperazzi taking pictures and asking all kinds of questions. Cody made me walk infront of him and then pushed me into the building. "Why do you ingore them?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Why shoud I talk to them?" He replied with a question, I shrugged. "Exactly." He said and we walked to our table. We ordered pretty quickly as we were all very hungry. I felt so comfortable with everyone, like they were family. It was so nice.

Once we got back to the hotel I kicked my heels across the room. I went to the bathroom and took off my makeup and then went into the bedroom. Cody was already in just sweats, I turned away from him.

"Can you unzip me?" I asked. He didn't say anything, I felt his body behind mine and then he slowly unzipped the dress. As soon as he let go the whole thing dropped to the floor. Cody's breathing speeded up.

I could feel his hot breath on my shoulder. "Can I sleep in one of your shirts?" I asked. "Mhmm." He hummed and kissed my shoulder, I turned around and pressed my lips against his.

It turned into a heated makeout session, Cody picked me up and put me on the bed. Neither of us pulled away while he did this. I ran my fingers over his back lightly, he softly moaned at it. after a few minutes Cody pulled away and got up.

"What are you doing?" I asked, he ignored me and looked for a shirt. "Cody?" He passed me a shirt, I put it on. "I can't do it." He told me and got under the blankets, I did the same. "Do what?" "Kiss you, kiss you like that. I don't have the self control to just leave it at that."

"But you know I would stop you if I felt uncomfortable." "I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable but I just can't control myself." "You were." "You have no idea how hard it is." "Why is it so hard for you and not for me?" "I'm 17 in two days, your 15."

"So?" "You're so innocent, you wouldn't even think about doing anything other than kissing me." "Bu-" "Just go to sleep." "Cody, we can't sort this out if you're not going to talk about it." "I don't want to talk about it." He said harshly and rolled over.

I starred at his back in silence, I wasn't sure whether to say anything or not. "Cod-" "I said go to sleep." He dismissed. I sighed and rolled over, I couldn't get to sleep no matter how hard I tried. After about a half hour I heard Cody move.

I felt his arms wrap around my waist and pull me against his body. "I'm sorry." He whispered, I ignored him. "I know you're not asleep." He told me and kissed the back of my shoulder. "I am." I said.

Cody laughed slightly, I smiled at the sound of his laugh. "I love you." He reminded, I didn't answer. I closed my eyes, I relaxed to the feeling of Cody's heartbeat on my back.
