Ciel sat there on the warm grass beside Alois, staring contently at his ring and leaning his head against the blondes shoulder.

"This is going to sound rather stupid but I want to stay like this for as long as I live. Will you promise me that you won't ever leave me?" Alois said softly, looking into Ciel's eye.

"I promise," Ciel said, "And now, this promise can be sealed with a kiss..." Ciel trailed off, leaning into the blondes face and connecting their lips.

Alois smiled into the kiss along with Ciel and placed his arms around the bluenettes little waist. Ciel wanted to savour every moment with his Alois, his idiot, his blondie. Suddenly Ciel felt something strange wash over him, it was...Fear. 'This won't last forever. We will all die and I won't have Alois because of my contract.' Ciel panicked, breaking the kiss.

"What's the matter?" Alois asked, lifting Ciel's head up.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it." Ciel replied, placing his lips back onto Alois' for a brief moment. Once he pulled away, Alois lightened the mood as usual and smiled.

"Oh! Do you smell that?" Alois quizzed, turning his head toward the townhouse and sniffing.

"Is that...butterscotch pie?" Ciel asked, looking at Alois.

"Sebastian." They said in unison, laughing as they got up off the grass. Once Ciel turned around and began walking, Alois stopped him.

"Stop." Alois said, watching as Ciel froze and turned around.

"What?" The bluenette asked.

"You have grass on your butt." Alois chuckled.

"Oh that's hilarious, you just wanted to touch me didnt-" Ciel was cut off as Alois grabbed his wrist and pulled him closer.

"Dance with me, Phantomhive." Alois said, placing Ciel's hand on his waist and holding the other.

Alois placed his hand on Ciel's waist and began humming a beautiful tune, stepping in time with Ciel as their eyes met. As Ciel lost himself in Alois' eyes, the blonde took it in his favour to move his hand lower so it rested on Ciel's butt. Ciel hardly noticed as Alois moved his hand over the bluenette repeatedly, brushing the grass off and stopping.

"See? Now it's gone." Alois smirked.

"Wait what did..." Ciel paused, realising what the cheeky blonde had just done, "You're such an idiot." Ciel laughed.

"Yes, but I'm your idiot." Alois replied, pecking Ciel's forehead and slipping his hand into Ciel's.

They both exchanged warm smiles as Ciel silently inched closer to Alois, walking toward the townhouse.

Once they entered, Alois stepped into the kitchen, watching as one of the triplets pulled a butterscotch pie out of the oven, the smell now filling the entire house with a rich, sweet scent.

"I'm going to get fat." Alois chimed, stepping into the dining room and taking a seat.

"I'll get fat with you." Ciel replied sweetly, sitting beside him.

Both of them watched as the triplets set the table and brought out the pie, serving it to both the boys.

"Oh this is going to be abseloutely delightful." Alois said, cutting some with his fork and eating it, his eyes widening in awe, "Ciel its so good."

Ciel nodded and took no time doing the same, cutting some and placing the small piece in his mouth before sighing in content. 'He was right, it almost beats Sebastian's chocolate cake.' Ciel thought, eating more.

Alois and Ciel ate 3 pieces each, stuffing themselves with the almost sinful dessert. Alois slouched in satisfaction and sighed.

"So what would you like to do now?" Alois smirked, looking at Ciel.

"I would actually like to look around upstairs." Ciel said.

"Of course, follow me." Alois smiled, taking Ciel's hand.

Ciel laced their fingers together as Alois led him upstairs. Once they were upstairs in the hallway, the blonde opened a door. Ciel stepped inside with Alois and he looked around the room, it's wasn't very big but it was comfortable. The bluenette had an idea and walked over to the bed, grabbing a pillow.

"It's so relaxing in here..." Alois said softly, sitting beside Ciel.

"Not anymore!" Ciel exclaimed playfully, swinging the pillow toward Alois and hitting him square in the face.

"Oh two can play at that game." Alois smirked, grabbing a pillow and swinging at Ciel.

Ciel dodged and swung at Alois again, this time the blonde laughed and dodged it, using the pause as an opportunity and swinging at Ciel, hitting him in the face and laughing hysterically.

"Ha ha, you're hilarious." Ciel said sarcastically, getting Alois in the gut and watching him topple onto the bed.

"Hey..." Alois said between laughter, "You're stronger than...You look..."

"Thank you, thank you." Ciel said playfully, bowing.

Ciel smiled and climbed on top of Alois, pushing the pillow into his face as he leaned forward. Alois laughed and pushed the pillow away, pulling Ciel against him and crashing their lips together. The bliss Ciel was in almost caused tears to form in his eyes, he didn't want any of this to end, ever. Alois pulled away and stared into Ciel's eye, leaning forward and licking the rim of his ear.

"You don't need this." Alois whispered, slowly untying Ciel's eyepatch and throwing it to the floor. Alois smiled once he saw the shimmer of purple through the bluenette's fringe, his smile becoming more sincere as he brushed Ciel's fringe back to expose his purple eye, "I love this colour," Alois said, "And this one." He finished, placing a finger underneath Ciel's blue eye.

Ciel turned red and began to unbutton Alois' shirt, kissing along the blondes neck as he did so. Seeing as Alois began to run his fingers through Ciel's hair, he took it as a signal to go further, and so Ciel removed Alois' shirt and slid off his shorts. Ciel smirked and began to kiss down Alois' bare chest, making the blonde moan and breathe heavy. Once Ciel paused to connect their lips, Alois began to slide off Ciel's shorts, kicking them to the floor.

Sebastian walked into the dining room and cleaned it, assuming the boys wouldn't be hungry, he sighed and took a seat at the empty table. For a few silent minutes the demon sat there, thinking, about someone other than himself.

That was the night Sebastian detached himself from his prey, after all isn't he being greedy? Aren't there other souls far easier to obtain? He thought. Ciel had softened this heartless demon, and Sebastian had let him. 'This is why demons cannot love.' Sebastian thought, 'It weakens every fibre of their being so that they no longer act on their natural demon instincts.'

Even so, the raven haired butler wished nothing more than for his master, who he had formed such an intimate bond with, to be happy. Not many demons would be able to get this close to a human, let alone be in reach of a soul so rare.

Sebastian sighed, walking upstairs and into their bedroom. He smiled as he saw them both cuddled up under the covers and sleeping so soundly. Approaching Ciel's sleeping body, he removed his glove and placed his bare hand over Ciel's purple eye, muttering a faint chant for a few seconds before pulling away and leaving the room.

"Good night, young master." Sebastian whispered.

That morning Ciel jolted upwards, rubbing his head and looking over to Alois, whose eyes fluttered open at the movement.

"Morning gorgeous." Alois yawned, sitting up and stretching.

"H-Hello..." Ciel said, rubbing his eyes and looking at Alois, "I had a very strange dream."

"Oh?" Alois replied, about to ask about the dream, only he gasped as he met eyes with Ciel.

"What's the matter?" Ciel asked.

"Y-You're..." Alois trailed off, leaning into Ciel's face and brushing his fringe away from his purple eye that was now without a contract seal, "You're free..."

"What ever do you mean?" Ciel asked, getting worried.

Alois grabbed a small hand mirror from his beside drawer and handed it to Ciel. Ciel took it and brought it up to his face, examining his eye. 'The contract...It's gone.' He thought, 'What did that idiot do?'. Ciel took a closer look and after a while he began to like the colour combination, it was like Alois' colour and his colour, purple and blue.

"It's...Pretty." Alois gawked, staring intently at his purple eye.

Ciel placed the mirror down and smiled, nodding in agreement with Alois. Ciel stretched, still not fully awake, and slid off the bed to put on some pants.

"Oh I forgot we were completely naked." Alois chuckled, smirking as he watched Ciel pull on some pants.

Alois sighed and got off the bed too, pulling on his old white nightgown that came up to his knee.

Once Ciel had pants on, he walked up to the glass doors that separated their bedroom from the balcony and pushed them open, allowing a warm summer breeze to flow in like warm silk. Alois smiled and followed him over to the small balcony, walking up behind Ciel and wrapping his arms around the bluenette's small waist.

"Do you know what this means?" Ciel finally said, a sweet scented summer breeze washing over them, "It means that I can keep my promise." Ciel finished, placing his hand on the stone railing.

"Yes, and that makes me happier than I can say." Alois replied, nuzzling into the back of Ciel's neck and kissing his ear.

"Also..." Ciel paused, a blue butterfly landing on his hand, "It means that this butterfly won't die alone. He will have a guard dog to protect him, forever."
