CHAPTER 6

I can't breathe. Liam tells me to take a deep breathe in.. and out.. I try but it doesn't work. Liam keeps telling me to slow my breathing but it doesn't work and I black out..

"Lucy? Lucy? Wake up." I hear a soft voice in my ear. It must be one of the boys. I try open my eyes but they won't let me. I can't move and I can't speak.

"Is she okay?" I hear one of them ask. "Yeah, I think so.." Liam I think, says.

"Okay. Well she is going to freak when she finds out what has happened." One of them says.

Wait. Why am I going to freak? What has happened? Are the boys okay?

I encourage myself to speak and let out a stifle "boys?" so quiet they barely heard.

"Lucy?! Are you okay?" Not quite sure who that it is yet but I try and speak a yes and slowly open my eyes but they won't budge.

"Liam? Is that you?" I ask.

"Yes love. Don't panic. You had an anxiety attack because someone knocked at the door last night." Liam tells me. He doesn't sound too good.

"Oh okay. What's the time? and where are the others? and 5 Seconds of Summer?" I ask worriedly.

"They are fine. It is 7 in the morning, the others are packing everything up so we can leave before they all wake up. If we don't leave now something bad is going to happen. We will tell you later but right now we need to get out of here as soon as possible." This does not sound positive.

"Okay. Well lets go then." I jump up but Liam tells me to not do anything strenous after my anxiety attack. They can really knock you down.

I walk slowly with Liam at my side to the back door where the boys are hauling everything into a big car. The boys welcome me and ask me if I am okay now and I say yes not really sure what I feel right now.

I get in the car, the boys finish up and they get in beside me. This has all happened so fast. I have Liam on my right, Harry on my left and the rest are surrounding me - including 5SOS.

"So Lucy.." Louis starts speaking.

"We need to talk about what happened last night.." Louis looks at me worriedly.

"Okay..." I am really worried right now.

"Don't freak out too much okay? Everything is going to be okay." Harry tells me pulling me in for a hug.

"Okay.." I say.

"Your dad... He came to our house last night. He has escaped prison. He knows that you are with us and he will try find us. He has a gun and knife with him and police said he won't be scared to use it. Security got to our house just in time last night and knocked him out. They then rung the police but he got away. They are looking for him now but in the mean time we have had to move away from our house. We lived in London... Now we live in a secret place where only paul knows where that is. We don't even know."

"Wait. what do you mean just in time?"

"Well him.. the gun... knife..." Niall says slowly.

"Oh my god!" My mouth is wide open. I can't believe it.

That was alot of information to take in. My dad knew where I was. and the gun and knife? Umm.. This freaks me out. I don't won't to go back to him. Ever.

"Okay." I say. I'm shaking. I'm scared now. What if he does find us again? What if they don't catch him?

"Lucy. I know you are scared. But you are safe with us. He won't hurt you and we will do everything we can to keep you with us." Liam says.

"Yeah I know but he had a gun AND knife with him! He could have killed you guys! I feel so bad now. I got you in this mess!" I'm almost yelling. I can't believe my dad found me. How?

"I love you guys. But I didn't want you to get in this mess... " I say tearing up.

"You are only 11. You can't be expected to help 20 year olds with your psycho dad.." Liam says.

"Yeah but... There is a way out of this. I don't want you boys risking your life, your career for me. I'm nothing special." I say. I'm probably going to regret that but at the moment I don't care.

"Lucy! Don't say that about yourself! You are special! Special to every single one of us! We will get through this together and I know you are thinking if you leave and go back to the orphanage we won't have to get hurt but I won't let that happen! You are staying with us forever and we are going to get through this all together okay?" Harry says almost crying.

Wow. How did he know what I was thinking?

"I love you all as well but I don't want you to risk your life for me."

"Well we are going to whether you like or not Lucy. You aren't leaving. You can't without our permission anyway." Louis says grinning.

Didn't think of that.

"True point Louis. I can make you guys sick of me though." I say winking.

"Not possible!" They all say laughing.

"We will see about that."

I love how our conversations can go from serious to funny.

We are laughing and having fun for the ride completely forgetting about the situation. We got on a plane, played some games the plane starts to land. We all look out the window and see a beautiful house on a deserted. hill. The windows are mirrored so nobody can see inside and it is out in the country. No houses or anything to be seen for miles. The house is 3 storey and made of brick. It has windows all around and is pretty much the same as the other house but bigger because we have 5SOS with us too.

It is very closed and no one will be able to find us here. Hopefully. We all walk inside and everything looks the same. There is 10 bedrooms, 2 lounges, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, a games room and a gym. This house is huge. We all go upstairs and to our rooms. When I get to mine the first thing I notice is my bed. It's a queen and it has a pretty flower duvet. I have a walk in wardrobe and an ensuite. I have a computer and an iphone. Probably won't be using them much but oh well.

"OH MY GOD MY ROOM IS AWESOME!" I hear one of the boys. I run out of mine and yell "MINE IS TOO!" We all meet in the lounge and we get a skype call from our security guard.

"Hello Paul." We all say.

"Hi. I just need to fill you in on some things." This doesn't sound good.

"Okay..." We all say nervously.

"Well first off, you aren't aloud to go home. You aren't aloud outside. We are going to get everything shipped to you. If you go outside someone could see you and tell Lucy's dad. We will give you food and normal stuff. Just one condition. No one and I mean no one is aloud to leave the house. Everyone is at risk." Paul instructs.

"Okay." We all say.

"We will get a notification from the police when everything is safe." Paul says.

"What about my mum? He may have found my mum and she isn't in jail.." I panic.

"All sorted Lucy." Paul says.

"So efficient." I say smiling.

"See you all soon." Paul says and hangs up.

That was so much to take in. My dad found me. I am safe now though. I hope.

"So what now?" Niall asks.

"Well we can't exactly do much. We can't leave the house and we are locked in here for god knows how long." Ashton says.

Well this will be great fun... Not.

We are all going to get so bored. We can't repeat everything again and again. I don't know what to do. I'm scared. I am starting to panic but I try not to show it.

"I'm sorry I put you boys through this. I never ment for this to happen. Ugh. I feel so bad now." I say almost crying. I do feel really bad for the boys. It's like I got them into this mess and I have to get them out of it. I have to.

"Lucy don't. We love you and we never want you to leave us. We never want anything bad to happen to you again and we DO NOT want you to go back to that loser or the orphanage." Liam speaks almost angrily.

"Thank you." I still feel really bad for these boys. Ugh.

I have said thank you way to much today. It has been an emotional ride and I feel there is more things to come.

There is silence and I can tell everyone is thinking.

"Well Lucy. You know what next week is?" Niall smiles breaking the silence.

"No.. what?"

"YOUR BIRTHDAY!" He yells.

I turn 12 next week. Oh god.

"We are going to have a huge party for you love." Harry tells me.

I'm excited for this but they really don't have to go all out for me. I'm not that important. I got them into to this mess.

"I can't wait." I say smiling possibly a fake smile.
