Chapter 11: Telling Natsu

~Lucy's POV~

"Lisanna?" I whisper, breathless.

"You could say that," she replies and laughs. "Grab her."

Raiden grabs my arm and twists it behind my back, knocking me onto my knees and pushing me into the forest floor.

"Say goodnight, Lucy," Lisanna snickers.

I feel a sharp pain in my head, and everything turns black.

~Levy's POV~

I stare at Mira.

"How'd you figure this out?" I ask her.

"I had a funny feeling," she replies, examining her legs for glass injuries.

"We have to tell the others, Lucy's in danger," Gajeel says.

"Yes, let's go."

Mira, Gajeel and I all run out of the small shack and down the street, heading towards Fairy Tail.

~Erza's POV~

I sit at a table with Gray, Wendy, and Natsu. I fiddle with my thumbs, bored out of my mind. Fairy Tail is no fun without Lucy. Suddenly, Natsu groans quietly. All three of us look up at him.

"Natsu, are you alright?" Wendy asks.

Natsu moans again, and then his eyes close. After a second they shoot open, and he jumps up.

"Lucy!" he shouts.

"What's going on Natsu?" Gray asks, standing up as well.

"She's gone! We need to find her!" Natsu yells at him.

"Good luck with that, moron. You're the one that made her leave."

Suddenly, the guild hall doors burst open, and Mira, Levy, and Gajeel all run inside. Mira sprints right up to our table and drops something onto the surface.

It's a handful of rings.

I pick up one of them and examine it. "What's going on?" I ask Mira.

"It's Lisanna! She's not Lisanna!" Mira pants.

"What?" everyone in the guild hall goes silent.

"It's someone else using a transformation spell! And they've captured Lisanna! And they're going after Lucy!"

Levy picks up two rings from off the table, showing them to us. "This first one is for the transformation. The second is for manipulation. The fake Lisanna was manipulating all of us to believe it was her," Levy explains. Then she hesitates, and looks Natsu directly in the eyes. "And she was manipulating Natsu."

"What?" I gasp.

"I was being controlled?" Natsu growls, his hands balling into fists.

"Yes. She got you to kick Lucy out of your team, to break her heart. So Lucy would leave the protection of Fairy Tail, so they could... well I don't know what they want with her," Levy says hopelessly.

"They have Lucy?" Natsu spits.

"We can only assume, yes."

"They'd better not touch her, or they'll regret it," Natsu hisses, and then sprints out of the guild hall. "Happy! Let's go!" he shouts behind him.

"Wait! Natsu!" I yell. He keeps running. "Well, let's go guys," I tell the group surrounding the table. Gray, Wendy, Levy, Gajeel, and I all turn and run out of the guild hall.

~Mira's POV~

I start to follow after them when someone grabs my hand, stopping me. I turn to see Laxus standing there.

"I want to go with you," he says to me.

"What?" I reply, my breath hitching in my throat.

"I don't want you getting hurt. I'm coming," he insists. He keeps hold of my hand as he walks past me, pulling me along with him. Bickslow, Freed, and Evergreen jump in front of us.

"If Laxus is going, then we are too," Freed insists.

"Yes, and we need to find Lisanna," Bickslow adds, and blushes slightly. I smile inwardly and nod to them.

"Well then, I think our team has been assembled, now let's get going before we lose Natsu," Laxus says, and leads us all out of the guild hall.

Hold on Lucy, we're coming for you.
