At that moment..

My eyes locked on..

My prey.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" His eyes finally locked unto mine, he was standing in the distance but I was sure I was the one he was talking to.

Why? Does it bother you?

I could see other people who kept getting in my way but I just threw them off.

"Himawari Sakura. I know what you're trying to do, stop that" My eyes moved over to Kaji who just spoke, 'Did he just use my full name?'

"Why?" I asked as my eyes went back to jellyfish cut.

"He's a noroshi member. I'll handle him. You can see what they did to the others."

I looked around and saw Furin students on the ground.

'When did the tides turn?'

"Why would you be the one to handle him if he was indeed a noroshi member?" I locked eyes with him once again as I spoke.

"I'm the captain here, I'll stand my ground." 

Fine.

As long as one of us stands, we'll be fine.

I was fighting off people who were trying to cross the bridge while my eyes occasionally glances over at jellyfish cut and Kaji at the distance.

I could see Kaji struggling.

Like he was desperately trying to stand his ground-

I tried my best to just focus on my own fight but I couldn't help it-

POW

"Ouch" I held my jaw as I felt the sting of someone's fist in it. I grimaced and glared at the random guy who just hit me.

"You should've paid attention if you were gonna complain like that heh~"  asshole.

THWACK

I punched him in the face before he could say anything more.

"I'm not in the mood stop joking around" I said as I glanced over at Kaji's place again just to see him all beat up.

What the hell?

I made my way over to them, shouting as I took my steps. "Fall back, I'll handle it Kaji-san!"

"STAY BACK HIMAWARI" I flinched in my spot as I heard Kaji's loud voice, 'You don't have to scream it out loud-'

"No I don't want to!" 

My body strides forward as I held his opponent's arm, refraining him from hitting Kaji again. I saw how his eyes darted over to me and I saw how bloodshot it looked, he looks pissed.

"I don't like it when people disturb my fight"

My lips curled up into a smirk as I gripped on his arm tighter, my eyes glaring at him as I replied, "I don't like you too stupid."

He let out a horrifying sound as my hand twisted his arm, it was almost like a mewl.

"That...feels...."

"...So good"

THWACK

I kicked him on the stomach, hard.

"You disgusting piece of shit" I said through gritted teeth as I clenched my fists tightly.

I watched as his body got pushed back by my kick, he hunched and held his stomach, I couldn't see his expression.

A few seconds later, his head flung up and his eyes met mine, he grinned at me. 

"That felt so good~ Do it again!" 

"Stay..back Himawari" I heard Kaji say which made me look at him, he was barely standing yet he said those words.

"Look at yourself first before saying those words to me. You look messed up" I sighed out and placed my hand on his shoulder, "rest up"

His shoulders tensed up in my touch, his eyes darted at me with a different glow than earlier. "K-kaji..?"

I pulled my hand away from his shoulder and attempted to touch his face to tap it lightly but he harshly pushed it away that it almost stung.

'What the'

I held my hand and rubbed the skin gently as I looked at him with wonder.

His eyes look different now- His eyes looks....regretful? almost...pitiful.

"W-wait..I-I'm sorry..did I hit you?" I watched as his eyes scanned over my wounds, wondering if he caused any of them.

'What? You don't even remember?'

My eyes lingered over him for a few seconds before I shook my head, "No, you just brushed off my hand. Rest up Kaji-san..you must be tired. I'll handle this"

"But-"

"You two keep pausing the fight, it's not fun."

I looked over at jellyfish who watched us with boredom in his aura but his eyes yearning for action. "What's your name?"

"You're finally paying attention to me, great!" I saw him clasp his hands as his foot strides forward.

"You annoy me do you know that?" I said as I glared at him.

I watched him as he dashed over to me, his fist flew over to my direction. I pulled his fist over to my side and yanked his head back by pulling his hair harshly.

"You haven't answered my question yet.....though.....I don't need your name to defeat you"

YANK

He also pulled my hair! What a bitch-

"Banjo Kanon~"

"Haaah? That's your name?" I grimaced at the sting, pulling his hair harder resulting in him to letting go off my hair. 

Once I pulled his hair back, I scowled at his face as his eyes met mine. He was smiling.

"What an ugly name" I said as I lift my knee up to meet with his face.

It's like the whole place was quiet.

I could feel something dripping on the side of my face, blood most likely.

Probably because of his shoe that hit my head a while ago but it doesn't hurt at all.

"You're not going down too huh?" I heard him say as we held each others arms.

He was still smiling, it's pissing me off.

"I could say the same thing with you, you're enjoying this aren't you?" I replied.

He let out a soft chuckle, "You're enjoying this too~ You're a freak like me!"

I heard something snap in my head as I yanked his head and smashed it against the railings of the bridge.

"Cool your head first"

That was the last thing I heard before I got pulled off the bridge with this crazy ass.

I resurfaced above the water, Banjo was pulling me above, dragging me on the dry ground.

My clothes are all wet.

"Get up we aren't done yet" I heard him say which made me glance over at him, I was still on the ground, catching my breath.

"You're one crazy bitch-" 

I was going to say something more but I let out a loud yelp as I felt his foot on my stomach.

"That hurts!" I yelled out as I held his foot with my hand.

"Oh? Feels delightful, yeah?" He said as he yanked his foot away then sat on my stomach harshly- he's getting on my nerves-

I heard him curse out as he suddenly lifted his body off of me and sat beside me, "You're a girl-"

THUD

My hand was gripping on his hair tightly, his head smashed against the ground. I was already up on my knees.

I lifted his head again the brought it back to the ground,

repeatedly.

THUD

"Himawari. That's enough"  Who's voice is that?

THUD 

THUD

"Stop..i-it hurts" Banjo cried out desperately.

I gripped his head tighter against my hand, "It hurts? You were smiling earlier, I thought you'd enjoy it-"

"Himawari"

I furrowed my eyebrows as my eyes travelled over to the voice who called out to me, I felt a hand over my shoulder as they spoke again,

"That's enough, you'll end up killing him"

Kill?

I glanced at Banjo and saw he was already knocked out. I let go off his head and I looked back at the person who stopped me.

"I-I'm not gonna kill anyone.." I said as I looked down at my hands, they were red.

"I know..I know calm down.." I felt him gently caress my back as he bent down beside me.

"I'm sorry-"

"Shhh...calm down...I got you..."

"...Kitty.."
