2 - Twin Brother

Well well just look at that, this dork is already carrying someone on his back. He's such a softie he doesn't even know it. We made our way to Kotoha's shop so we could eat.

"Goodmorning twins!" Kotoha greeted as we entered, I greeted her back with a small goodmorning and sat down. Haruka and Kotoha bickered at each other again but I didn't listen in because I'd rather listen to some music. My earbuds placed in one ear as the other side was left without one so I could still be aware of my surrounding.

This random orange haired kid entered with same uniform as us but he looked too flashy for my eyes. He was talking to Kotoha until he noticed me and Haruka. He seems to be quite nervous but hides it with his cheerfulness. 'He left the tag on his clothes..' I said to myself. They're talking too loudly, they're close enough to just talk normally..sigh. 

"Your eyes and your hair!" I took out my earbuds to listen in, giving my full attention to the person who acknowledged our appearance. Sakura particularly doesn't like it when someone points it out. "What?" Sakura said clearly annoyed. 'Great. Already know what's gonna happen'

"Is it stress?..at such young age..." and there we go, a fight might sta- WHAT? Kotoha started laughing while both me and Sakura sat there, confused. 'Did I hear that right?'

"Our hair and eyes are natural..we were born with it" I said lowly, quite embarrassed at the assumption that we were stressed. He quickly apologized as Kotoha explained that me and Sakura are new here and just moved in.

"This is Haruka Sakura and Himawari Sakura! They just moved in" Kotoha introduced us to 'Nirei Akihiko', so that's his name. "I haven't heard of any Sakura outside of town..Why would someone unknown come to this town.." Nirei said while looking at a small notebook in his hand.

"Is he mocking us Haru?" I whispered to Sakura and saw his shoulders move, shrugging. "I don't know..should I just pun-" I didn't let him finish when I uttered him with a quick "No".

"Furin isn't a normal school. The people at Bofurin are those who stood up to protect Makochi. They save the weak, they are allies of justice" He started, his face now serious, showing great admiration. "Everyone at Furin admires these seniors..of course I'm one of them!" He said cheerfully then suddenly pointed at us.

"So why some unknown twins with no connection to this town want to come to Furin?" Nirei said with a confused expression. I saw Sakura smirk before answering him.

"Being allies with justice sound cool and a lot of strong guys seem to go there. So I thought if we reach the top, I'd be satisfied." Sakura said proudly, with a smirk on his face. Well whatever he says I don't really care as long as we are both happy.

"That sounds easier said than done..you might go bald." and there goes Sakura's patience! "Hey calm down Haru, he's our schoolmate" he grumbled in his seat, this kid. 

Nirei soon headed out rambling about patrolling the area before school. Kotoha started lecturing Sakura about not judging people then went to the color of coffee..? "Is he actually strong or something?" Sakura asked eagerly.

"Is that all you care about?" Kotoha said with desbelief. "Probably does" I answered for him. "What- No!" Sakura defended himself but Kotoha just laughed.

We got out of Kotoha's shop and started to make our way to school, we walked side by side when someone stopped us. Bakers. "Yo kids! want a bite?" he offered while holding a tray of goods. 

"Why?" we both said at the same time then the baker just looked at us oddly. "Why? weren't you two the ones from yesterday?" the other baker asked. "The kids at Furin always help us out so we gotta repay them somehow! We were really glad that you two were there you guys helped us a lot!" The other exclaimed with a bright smile. 

'We d-did?'

Both Sakura and I are blushing at this point. "We aren't h-hungry!" Sakura said, his face pink. "oh just take this then!" he gave us some bags with bread inside which just made us bow and thank them as they bid us goodbye. 'S-such kind people'

Along the way, we already have handful of goods from different people and they kept thanking us. "Why are they being so nice..especially to me" I heard Haru say quietly.

"Silly you deserve it, you're a kind person after all" I smiled over at him and just saw his face flush more red.

"You guys are from Furin right?!" A woman exclaimed as she held unto us. "Please help!" Me and Sakura stared at each other before running to where she lead us. 'oh'

The scene infront of us. It's Nirei. He's getting beat up by a group of people.

"THOSE WHO HURT OTHERS , THOSE WHO DESTROYS AND SHOWS NO MERCY, SHALL BE PUNISHED BY BOFURIN WITH NO EXCEPTION!" We heard Nirei shout at them, shivers went down my spine. 'Does he want to get killed?' , I thought as I placed our food in my bag and set it to the ground, ready to fight.

Nirei was about to get hit again when Sakura flew a kick to the guy's face. He beat me to it what the hell! I went closer to them and stood beside Sakura, ready to pounce at these shits. 

"You guys from Furin as well?! You guys here to save your friend?" One of dudes who beat up Nirei said. Sakura had that irritated look on his face, scrunching his nose he answered, "He's not my friend don't get the wrong idea that's disgusting". 'His mouth sure doesn't know when to stop'

"I just can't stand weak assholes who think they're actually strong, makes me puke" Sakura was now scratching his ear. He sure knows  how to  piss people off..

"What's your problem brat?!" Their faces are now fuming with anger as one tried to pounce on my brother. "You can't win against them!" We heard Nirei warn us but it was too late. WAM!

The dude is huddled on the floor.

I kicked him.

"Let's teach 'em a lesson Haru" I smirked as I looked over at him, he also had the same smirk on his face. "Let's go Hima"

Sakura was in the right and I took the left side, we had each other's back like how we promised when we were younger. I probably look crazy..making bodies fall to the ground with a smile on my face but who cares?

Sakura finished off the last guy, piles of their bodies scattered on the ground. I walked over at Nirei who was on the floor, he looked frightened. It actually looks pitiful. I offered my hand at him so he could take it but he started crying. He was thanking us while degrading himself.

"I don't know why you're so adamant about going to Furin but know your limits." Sakura said sternly while his back faced Nirei.

"Someone from Furin saved me...he looked cool..I wanted to be like that too..If I change and attend Furin, I thought I could be like that person...but..I'm still like this..lame and pathetic" This poor kid..I feel bad even more now.

"Don't say that to yourself..we don't think you're pathetic..right Haru?" I said as I helped him up and Sakura said a simple "yeah". We couldn't see his face but his ears are sure pink.

I picked up my bag as I walked up to Sakura "hohoho~" I was about to tease him but he quickly shut me up with his face still burning up.

"Hey wait!" Nirei ran up to us and started asking us these weird questions. "What's your height?","What's your blood type?","Hobbies?" , and so on-

"Hey stop it-" Sakura tried to shush him but was cut off.  "Sorry I just write down traits of people who I think are cool" Nirei said cheerfully, we stared at him in disbelief, our faces red.

So apparently Nirei's our guide now I guess..he seems nice. I know my brother thinks so too!
