Part 48

07:29, 2 May 2021

A/NJust realized I was supposed to post yesterday, sorry bout that. I'm going to sleep now since it's 12:30am and i have no more energy to be awake

Natasha's POV:

The quinjet lands after a short ride from our DisneyWorld hotel to the Triskelion in DC. I paced the entire flight knowing it would be my only time to prepare and freakout about what is about to happen. Steve and Clint give me room to do so and only bring me out of my thoughts when I have to sit down for landing.

The jet lands in the hanger and the three of us walk down the ramp, we are greeted by several agents who give us information I already know. None of what they are telling us is very true, the only thing that sounds right is that neither of them are talking. Eventually I speak up, "They wont respond to torture, they wont crack under interrogation, and they definitely wont just give you the information you want." The agents all look at me as I give them no other explanation or even change my expression. "What are the names they gave you?"

I look to the youngest looking agent, "Sarah Jennings and Melinda Grant." I almost snort at the aliases.

We turn a corner and continue walking down the hall, stoping in front of a large door. "I'll go in, catch up a little bit. Confirm they're still working for the KGB the works." The agents who walked here with us look sceptical and so does Steve but he knows I'm going in no matter what. Clint gives me a look that says everything he needs to say, I give his a slight nod and walk into the room before anything else can be said.

Sitting in a metal chair at a metal table with her hands handcuffed to the table is the blond that had my elbows thrown into her scull not long ago. "Hey Yel, what have you been up to lately? Besides trying to take me back to Russia of course."

She gives me a half smile, "Of course." Yelena uses a fake accent and seems to have a cut on her head that recently stopped bleeding as her blond hair is slightly stained with blood. "What have you been up too, sister?" She tilts her head to the side.

I sit down in the chair opposite her, "Oh you know, alien attack, murder robots, fought a space grape a couple times. The usual." I lace my fingers together and put my elbows on the table, propping my head onto my fingers I look at Yelena. "Unlike you, Yelena I was able to get out. And I was better because of it. I've used what the Red Room taught me for the greater good, I've done this for years."

Yelena shakes her head, "You haven't used it for good. You use it for destruction, and murder. You haven't changed, Natalia." I stand up and walk to the door. "You're still the assassin they made you to be. Soon enough, everyone will know it, see it, and Dreykov will have his revenge." With that I turn around and smirk at her.

I walk up to my sister and pull something out of my pocket and place it on one of her wrists. Around it forms a much more secure bound, one that she wont be able to get out of. "So, Dreykov, he's the one who sent you?"

Yelena looks slightly taken aback before leaning as far back as she can in her chair with the restraints on her hands, "Damn, I forgot how how good you are, Natalia." She gives up on the American accent she was using earlier.

I smirk knowing she didn't forget, "And you are too, Yel. What did they do to you that makes you willing to be captured?" I ponder out loud as the gears turn in my head. I walk over to the door, "Have fun in your cell, sis. Oh, and my names Natasha." I smirk at her before banging on the door so the guards will let me out.

When I walk out I walk over to where Clint and Steve are standing, they're watching a monitor and look up when I walk over, "Why did you come out? We didn't get everything we need from her." Clint says as I get closer to them.

"Aw Clint," I pat his cheek, "We got everything we need." I squeeze Steve's hand before walking down the hall towards Melina's room.

Steve's POV:

Nat walks into the room and the door slides shut behind her, locking her in and everyone else out. I look back to the monitor and put the headphones on one ear so I can hear what's happening in the cell and out here.

"Melina, how was the flight?" Nat asks the woman sitting across from her.

I point to the screen, "This one was Nat's mother figure growing up." Clint nods beside me and we go back to listening to their conversation.

"Let's get this over with, паук." Melina retorts already looking annoyed.

I can just make out Natasha's smirk through the camera. "I'm not here to make you talk, I just want to catch up." Nat sits down in the chair across from her.

Melina's accent is thick threw her words. "It's been too long, дорогая дочь."

Nat nods slightly, "It has." There's silence for a moment, "What have you been up to Melina?" Her words are much friendlier with Melina then they were with Yelena.

Melina shakes her head, "And why would I tell you, Natalia?" Her accent continues to gets the best of her.

Tasha leans onto her elbows and looks directly into her eyes, "Because the world is a strange place, with strange people and strange things. I'm trying to decide if you need to interact with any of those."

"You know what you need to do. So why even ask me?" Melina asked her, normally Nat doesn't let anyone ask her questions while she's supposed to be interrogating someone.

I furrow my eyebrows trying to understand what she's doing, "What are you doing, Nat?" I mutter out loud.

Clint seems to hear me, he shrugs and says, "She has a plan. She has too."

They keep talking and eventually Nat gets through to her in a similar way she did with Yelena except Melina took longer. Clint and I take off our headphones when the door to the cell opens and Nat walks out, she walks over to us.

"You okay?" I ask her, I have to hold back pulling her into my arms as the hallway is slowly filling with agents.

She puts on her Black Widow mask and replies with, "Why wouldn't I be, Rogers?" She walks closer to us and types some commands into the computer, I see her bring up a file and add information before reading through certain sections and deleting information and replacing it.

A few agents notice the change in information, mostly level 1-3 agents who are still getting the ropes of things. I see the terrified looks on their faces at being in such close range to two master assassins, one of them looks like they might pass out. Without turning around Clint says, "If you keep looking at us like we're going to kill you at any second we actually might."

Nat chuckles while I give Clint the eyebrows of disappointment before turning around to explain the new information.

Wanda's POV:

Natasha, Steve, and Clint left the park a few hours ago, Steve sent a message from the plane saying they were heading too DC to deal with Yelena Belova and Melina Vostokoff, whoever they are. I don't have much information about Nat and Melina's relationship other than their Russian conversation.

I texted Nat a while ago to see how it was going but she never responded, right now most of us are sitting around a large table in a restaurant (damn i really struggled to spell that ) eating our burgers and fries in silence, as we spend every waking second with each other and for the moment seem to have finally run out of things to say to one another.

That is until Sam speaks up, "Anyone see the game last night?"

Bucky swallows a bite of his burger beside me, "What game?"

"The game." Sam emphasizes.

"What game?" Bucky shoots back.

"Oh, you know what game." Peter looks between them as they shoot back and forth.

"No, I don't."

"Just shut up, man."

"You're the one who asked!"

"I didn't think you were gonna be the one to respond!"

I throw my drink in Sam's face and Bucky's in his. "Why don't you both shut up."

A/N

I stan SamBucky yelling at each other.
