Chapter 2 (She)

Jennie's POV

It's my first day of school today. I'm a transfer student from States. My parents decided to go back here in Korea after so many years.

They have to take care of the expansion of our business here that's why. Yes. I'm a Korean but grew up and stayed in the US for a decade.

They enrolled me in YG University. It's one of the famous universities here in Seoul.

I decided to wear a white shirt and denim pants today. Not my usual style but I need to wear simple so people around me will be more comfortable talking with me. I have the bitch resting face aura, yeah I admit I looked like a snob but technically not. But then, I don't regret having this kind of facial features, this is my asset BTW.

I arrived early today,(I'm a morning person type) but I'm having a hard time finding my classroom. Technically, I know no one here. I don't have friends and I'm literally a stranger. I asked someone I bumped in the parking lot for the directions that's why I was able to find my room.

Now, I stepped into the classroom and find for a vacant seat. Everyone's eyes are on me. I don't know why? Maybe it's the first time for them to see a Goddess walked into their class. I smiled when I thought of that idea on my mind. I saw a vacant seat on the 3rd row right side near the window.

I'm about to walk on that side when someone bumped in my back.

Lisa, Jisoo, and Seulgi are talking about what they did during the summer break.

They usually hang out, Yes! But it stopped when Seulgi decided to have a vacation with her family in New York.

While the two are busy chitchatting, Lisa waved and smile at the door entrance when she saw a familiar face.

It's Irene and Joy.

The one that they're waiting for earlier. Unfortunately while rushing in, Irene accidentally bumped someone.

Irene: Ops! Sorry I didn't mean to.. (she didn't finish the things she's about to say) Oh fudge! It's you! 😲

Jennie: Ahh... Hi again🙂

Joy: You're the girl in the parking lot earlier? What a coincidence, we're classmates. (Joy smile with amazing facial expressions)

Irene: come here, sit with us. We will introduce you to our friends.

Jennie: Ne 🙂 ( she smiled while the two is dragging here to the direction where she's about to sit earlier)

They walked to the direction of their friends who are smiling widely when they saw them arrived.

"Ohh here they are ". Jisoo uttered The three stand up and hug each.

Seulgi: I thought you two will not show up today.

Joy: I actually waited for Irene, I rode with her car since I didn't bring mine. We're having a hard time finding a parking space.

Irene: Oh! Before I forgot, Guys, please meet Jennie. She's new here.

"Hi, Jennie". The three smiled and greeted her in unison.

Jennie: Hello. Nice to meet you. 😊

Joy: This is Jisoo, Seulgi, and Lisa.

The five of us are friends since freshman year.

Lisa is just observing the four ladies. She didn't utter any words because she's busy scrolling on her phone. This is normally Lisa's mood every morning. Her mood will change in an instant from being cold to being clingy, for being fun to be quite.

The five ladies now seated when their professor came in. Sitting arrangement is Jisoo is sitting near the window, next to Lisa, Seulgi, and Joy.

While Irene and Jennie are seated at the back of the four which is on the third row because of no more available seats on the second row. They're attentively listening to the Prof's speech.

It's a Business Management subject. Yes, they all took a Business course because their parents actually owned big businesses globally. For sure at the end of the day, once they graduated, they're the ones who are going to manage it.

Most of the activities that they have today are more on unending "please introduce yourself ". This is normal every first day of class.

After 497659292467646 years. (I bet you didn't read the numbers completely😂)

Finally, the long wait is over its lunchtime and their next class is 2 PM. So they have a lot of time to talked and get to know their new recruit friend which is Jennie.

"Yes! Finally, the class dismissed! So where are we eating, I'm starving already".Jisoo said.

"Will be eating on the plate, of course. Did you try eating in a mug? "Finally Lisa speak up.

Her energy switch already since it's lunchtime.😂 She's just always not in the mood every early morning because she's still sleepy.

"Aishh! This kid! I mean, the place where are we going to eat".

"Cmon let's go to our favorite cafe, we have a lot of time to relax since the next class will be at 2 pm".Irene suggested.

"Jennie, come with us. From now on, stick on our side".Jisoo said while smiling to Jennie.

Jennie: Thanks for making me feel so welcome. I actually don't have any friends here.

Joy: And we're now your friends 😉

The six walked going to the cafe. It's Irene, Jennie, and Joy. At the back of them, the three followed Lisa, Jisoo, and Seulgi.

"Hi, Lisa 😍 ". A girl greeted her in the corridor.

Lisa just look at her and wink.😉

She's famous in school. Actually, their group is famous in school. They're known as Team Visual because of their looks and hierarchy status. But Lisa is the most adorable. Ladies and Gents are into her because of her charismatic look and swag. And because of this, she's taking advantage of it sometimes. Yes, you got it right. Lisa is the campus playgirl.

The girls arrived at their favorite cafe. ( Beantage Cafe) They sat on their favorite spot and ordered some food and drinks for their lunch.They loved this place not only because of the delicious foods that they served but also the ambiance.

"So Jennie tell us something about you".Jisoo breaks the silence while everyone is busy eating.

Jennie: I actually just arrived here in Seoul a few weeks back before the class opening. I'm living and studying in the US for a decade already. My family decided to be here to take care of our business. I guess, will be staying here for good.

Lisa is staring to Jennie while the latter is talking. She finds Jennie attractive earlier when she saw the girl walk into the class but now that they're sitting and facing each other. She realized that the girl is more attractive, every corner of her face are just perfect. Meanwhile, Jennie caught her looking and gave her a smile.

Lisa felt shy and gave her attention to the food she's eating.

Jisoo: Based on your story, you're staying here in Korea before your family decided to migrate to the US?

Jennie: Ne, I'm turning seven when we flew to the US. Basically, I had my kinder here and continue my studies in the US afterward.

The five exchange of quick detail about their lives so Jennie can catch up and for them to know more about Jennie while Lisa is only listening to them. Seulgi noticed it.

"Hey! Lisa, why are you so quiet now? It's the first time that you shut up your mouth".

Lisa: No! *defensive tone* you know I'm eating. Don't talk when your mouth is full.

The truth is Lisa is just shy because of their new friend.

I swear she's the most outgoing shy person on this Earth. Like, when she's comfortable around people. She doesn't shut up... But if she's around new people, she doesn't speak until spoken too.

It's not that she's not comfortable with Jennie being with them.

She's just making a good impression on the girl. Manoban Style😎.

Jisoo: Don't me, Manoban. I've known you since birth.

Lisa: Alright! (she gets Jennie's attention) Jennie, I'm happy to meet you and be friends with you. It's just when you meet me in person, you gotta be patient enough to get through my awkward and shy phase before I become cool. *Lisa wink*

Jennie: Yeah. I understand I'm happy to meet you too, I mean all of you. *blushed a little*

Jisoo: That's Lisa! But I swear, when she became comfortable with you, you will regret it because she's very annoying and always jokes around. Sometimes we actually thought about why we became friends with this idiot.

The ladies laugh after Jisoo stated those.

Lisa: yah! Don't say that. *Lisa pretended being hurt on what Jisoo said while pouting*

Jennie smiled at Lisa's reaction. She finds it cute when she pouts and remembered someone in the past.

The first few chapters may be boring because I'm trying to highlight and grow their characters first. Take note of some details, plot twist will be revealed soooooooon.
