A/N: Fanart + Guidance

Hi everyone! 👋🏼

I wanted to jump in and ask for some thoughts on where to go next in the story. 

As some of you may know, I created Esme to fit into the episodes of season 1. She was given a backstory (A Siren's Spell), but her main purpose is to be able to seamlessly merge into any of the episodes while still being able to connect her own plot. 

That being said, Esme will be present for episode 7 and 8 (finale). 

However, I am struggling with what comes next after finale given the fact that we have no idea what is going on for season 2. 

There are two options here. 

1. I go on hiatus after finale (which is rapidly approaching) and wait for the season 2 debut to return with Esme in a 3rd book (which can take God knows how long). This way we can easily visualize Esme in the episodes while we watch them.

2. We diverge from the series and go into a separate plot that is original. But, that means that when we get season 2 Esme will not be present (headcanonly at least). I won't be able to write her into whatever happens for Alastor's character, which I feel like is going to be a BIG DEAL - especially with them!

To delay this decision, I could do more flashbacks to their human lives or subchapters considering there's a month left until the extermination. However, most of my written and planned content happens on extermination night and during the final fight scene. (Y'ALL ARE NOT READY FOR IT, I PROMISE YOU!). I may take longer to upload considering the fact that these chapters are not planned.

I swear I tell everyone I'm delulu, because when I watch season 1 I can't help but picture her in the scenarios. To me she exists, just off screen. Petition to get her included? Even as a friend or colleague, we can scratch the love interest aspect due to his character - LOL!

I love this so much! I love the art style - especially the little fangs and fins! I haven't been able to show you all the fins because I can't draw LOL, but in my head they look just like this!
