Chapter 1

Thoma's pov

It was a fairly sunny day in Narukami Island, and I was enjoying it. The sun was out, and there hasn't been any thunderstorms for a while. Thunderstorms aren't really my favorite type of weather.

"Thoma! Would you like to go on a stroll with me if your not busy?", Ayaka asked. She usually wanted to go on strolls like these, but I was usually too busy. Today you could say, that my lord gave me a day off.

"Of course milady! I'll be right there", I say as I get out of my room and follow her outside the estate. The sakura trees looked beautiful, now that they were all bloomed.

We took a walk into Inazuma City, chatting about casual stuff, like our likes and dislikes, workloads, and many more. It was all going well until I heard something.

Isn't that the Shirasagi Himegimi and the Kamisato Estates housekeeper? What are they doing together?

Are those two dating? I've never seen them out together like this.

I never knew the Shirasagi Himegimi and Thoma would be together.

These whispers were barely audible, but I could hear what was happening crystal clear. I was sure Ayaka couldn't hear them, because she just kept on talking.

"I helped a little girl yesterday and she said 'thank you' and treated me like a normal person!" Ayaka exclaimed excitingly.

"It's nice to hear that you're being more social milady", I said with a grin, "but would you like to take a walk somewhere else, this place has too many people". It was pissing me off that a lot of people would think of us like that.

"Weren't you just complimenting me on being social? But I don't mind, let's head somewhere else shall we?", Ayaka said. I was forever thankful to her that she agreed, because if she didn't, I would have to deal with these irrational comments forever.

We headed to a more quiet place, with less people and took a calming stroll there. After a while, it was getting a bit dark.

"Milady, it's getting quite dark outside. Should we take our leave?"

"Sure. It is getting pretty dark".

And with that, we left back to the Kamisato Estate.
