The End

In the comics, Thanos feared Odin, which kept him away from the MCU for years. Loki's failure to banish Odin to Earth allowed him to live long enough for Loki to gather the courage to share his story with Elisa. And eventually the Avengers.

With Earth's heroes, Asgard's army, and the galactic adventurer Captain Marvel joining forces, they defeated Thanos. And then when Odin's time to pass finally came, they united once more to overcome Hela.
