22 : Its Time to Make a Deal

Logan came back before dinner time with my bags already packed and a taxi waiting outside to take us to his apartment. I gave May and Peter a big thanks and promised I would repay them someday but they said it wasn't necessary since it was no inconvenience. I smiled and agreed but I might bring up Peters academic abilities to my brother, he always gives scholarships and grants. Maybe he can help Peter get into MIT if that is the college he wants.

Logan opened the taxi door for me, I gave him a smile and got in. He closed the door and walked to the other side and got in. "We are ready, sir." He told the driver, I smiled at his kindness. Logan is always kind.

"Alright." The driver out the car in drive and started heading to Logan's apartment.

{Elisa. I need food. Now.}

(You will have to wait.)I looked at Logan, he smiled at me and I smiled softly back. "Do you have work tonight?"

Logan shook his head and placed his hand on mine. "I do not." I nodded and looked away, I needed to leave the apartment without questions. "But." I looked back at Logan, he smiled softly. "I do need to stop at my brothers for a couple hours. I might be home late." His fingers fed between mine and linked out hands together.

I took a breath of relief. "Oh. Alright. What time do you think you will be back?"

Logan looked at me softly. "It might be all night. I will probably be home around 1. My brother tends to keep me busy with his blabbering."

I smiled softly. "I wish I had a relationship like you and your brother."

Logan chuckled softly. "It took us years to finally be civil with each other." I smiled, Logan squeezed my hand. "Will you be alright alone?" He asked softly. "I can stay if you wish."

I squeezed his hand and shook my head. "I will be fine. I'll just watch a movie and go to bed."

"Alright." He smiled softly. "The fridge and cabinet are filled with sweets and food for you."

I smiled brightly. "Chocolate?" Logan chuckled and nodded. "Thank you."

Logan brought me hand to his lips and placed a kiss. "Anything for you, my love." My cheeks warmed up, he smiled. .  .  .

It took a while for the taxi driver to get to the destination since it was in the outskirts of the city. Which I was grateful for since the Avengers were probably looking for any signs of the monster that kidnapped Starks sister. Maybe I should tell my brother... Not. I can't tell him. He will try and rip Scream out of me. She's not bad she's just... I don't know but she's not bad. I wonder if I should tell Logan but then I remember he is just a normal human who probably never heard of aliens before 2012.

Logan opened my door and held out a hand for me to take, I took it and he helped me out then placed a kiss to my lips. "You're bags are already up there." He said softly and rested his forehead on mine. "Did you want to eat at the restaurant down the street before we head in?"

{Hungry.}

(I know. But we can't hunt until it's dark.)I smiled softly at Logan. "Alright." Logan smiled and took my hand before leading me down the street. "This neighborhood is nice." It wasn't in the city, but it had the same layout of buildings. "How long have you lived here?"

"Only for a little while." He said softly and lead me to the restaurant. "I surprisingly have not tried this restaurant yet so we will have to search the menu together." He smiled.

I smiled and let out a chuckle. "But it's only two buildings down. How could you not have tried it?"

Logan shrugged. "I guess I've been to busy." He opened the door and let me walk in first. It wasn't a fancy place but it wasn't gross. "I think we chose our own seating." He placed a hand in the small of my back and lead me to a booth. "I hope a booth is alright."

"Yes." He let me sit down first then took a seat on the opposite end. "Order anything you want." He gave me a kind smile which I gave back before he lifted the menu to look at it.

I looked over mine and when the server came I ended up ordering a simple burger with a chocolate milkshake and Logan ordered the same thing. When our food came I basically gulped the chocolate smoothly down and then Logan slid his to me. "Thank you." I said sheepishly and took a drink then took a bite of my burger. "I promise I don't always eat junk food and sweets." I didn't want him to think I am that unhealthy.

Logan smiled softly. "I think it is cute how you love sweets. I do not mind if that is what you are afraid of."

"Oh." I smiled softly. "Thank you." Logan smiled and we went back to eating. I started to drink more chocolate when I felt Scream getting impatient. "Can I order another milkshake?" I asked softly.

Logan nodded. "Of course, darling." He looked over me. "Are you alright?"

I nodded, wiping the sweat from my brow. "I'm just in the mood for chocolate."

{I need food now!} Scream growled.

I set my burger down. "Actually, Logan. Can I take the rest home for later? I really need to use the bathroom."

Logan looked behind him. "I believe they have a bathroom." He looked back at me.

I shook my head. "I rather use yours. Please."

Logan looked at me softly. "I'll walk you to the apartment." He took out his wallet and headed to the register.

{Elisa! Just leave!} Scream growled.

I stood up from my seat and when Logan came back I eagerly grabbed his hand and lead him out. "I can take myself to the apartment if you give me the spare key and tell me which apartment it is." I pulled his down the street.

Logan slowed me down to a stop and cupped my cheek. "Is there anything you need to tell me?" He looked at me softly. "You are getting even paler."

I shook my head. "I just really have to use the bathroom and you have to go to your brothers." I smiled, Logan nodded. "Keys?" I held my hand out.

Logan reached in his pocket and took out his keys. "It's the third room on the seventh floor." He placed them in my hands. "Feel free to make it your home as well."

I smiled and kissed his lips. "Thank you, love. You have to go to your brothers now. I'll call a taxi." I headed to the side of the road but Logan pulled me back. "What?"

"Darling. I can find my own." He kissed my lips. "You seem to need the bathroom urgently." He said softly and placed another kiss. "Go on. I'll find my own ride."

I kissed him back. "Alright. Thank you." Logan nodded and I started to walk to his apartment, glancing back over and over. Most of the time he was smiling at me when I looked but once I saw him going into a cab I took to the alleyway and Scream came out. (Don't hurt anyone but bad people.)

{Obviously.} She started to climb the walls to the rooftops and then towards...

I looked through her eyes. (Prison?)

{Filled with bad people.} She smirked.

(Not all of them.) I reminded her.

{I'll find the worst. Rapists, sex traffickers... So many bad people. Murderers.} Scream salivated.

I internally sighed. (Not a buffet. Only one.) Scream grumbled and climbed down the wall and into the forested area towards the prison. (How are you going to get in?)

{Break in of course.}

(Don't you think that's a little risky with the Avengers after us?)

{I'll make it fast.}

Before Scream could move even closer a green light flashed in front of us and Loki appeared. Scream halted and went into attack mode. "Loki." She growled.

Loki through an unconscious man to the ground. "Three families, 12 people in all. He started by raping the children while the parents watched then he killed the families." Scream looked at him curiously, Loki looked over her. "None of the Avengers know I'm here. I wanted to form a alliance."

Scream narrowed her eyes. "An alliance for what?"

"Your abilities." Loki smirked. "For what I do not know yet."

Scream hesitantly went into defense mode instead of offensive. "And what will I get out of this alliance?"

Loki motioned to the man. "A meal once a month."

{Elisa?}

(I'm thinking...) Loki is an Avenger no matter how much they don't like him. What if it's a trap. But it doesn't seem like it. (It's your call, Scream.)

"A easy meal once a month." Scream moved closer to the unconscious man and lifted him up by his neck. "And who'll my abilities be against?"

"We will see."

Scream smirked. "I need more than we will see. I need to know why you will force me to harm."

Loki raised his chin. "None of the Avengers."

Scream smirked. "Alright, Loki." Loki didn't even flinch when she bit off the man's head and threw the body into the forest. "Deal." She turned around and bolted back to the apartment.
