His Heir; My Son

I just love that picture (media section). It looks like Ellarian and Legolas. I fell in love with picture. Do you love it?

8 months later

First I felt this strange pain in my stomach then this strong pushing feeling. I was sitting in my throne when I finally knew what was happening. The baby was coming. I felt excited, curious, nervous and sad all that the same time. I gently touched Thranduil's hand who was talking to a visitor."Thranduil, can I have moment?" He turned to me and I whispered"The baby is coming." His eyes lit up and he replied softly."Go, I will come as soon as I can." The walk to the healing room felt like a life time. With each step the pain grew and every step felt like a league. Finale I arrived at the door and pushed it open. The healers came running towards to me and helped me onto a bed. They carefully pulled off my dress and helped me into a loose green gown. They helped me lay down and strangely I feel asleep.

I wake up in a pool of water. I sat up and pushed back the blanket. The bed was soaked. The healer gently took my hand and said"Your waters broke my lady. We need to move you to a clean bed." Carefully I was moved to other bed, by the window. Green leaves were coming in through the window. The sunlit came shining through the leaves casting a light green light in room."Why have I never seen this room before?" "Royal children are born here." I nodded.

Two hours laterThe healers were telling me to push. Every time I pushed, pain screamed through my body and came out of my mouth."I can see a head, my lady." I pushed again. One of healers smiled at me and said gently"One more good push." I pushed with the last of the strength. A scream left my lips and then I felt relief. A small cry came from the healer's arms. A small white bundle was placed into my arms."You have a son and heir, my lady." The healer announced. I smiled. The baby had blonde hair and his eyes were tightly closed. His tiny fists were waving in the air and he was crying. The healers showed me how to feed him and soon he was happily sucking on my breast."Please tell the king." A healer bowed and walked out of the room. I watched my son sucking away when a green leaf floated down and brushed his tiny forehead. "Legolas."'I whispered. Elvish for green leaf. The healer came in through the door."My lady, the king had left. He had some business at the Lonely Mountian. "  in walked Fínor and he smiled"My lady, congratulations. May ask of the child's name?" "Legolas of Mirkwood." He smiled and replied"A beautiful name my lady. I must return to my duties." I nodded and he walked out. Inside I was so angry. How dare Thranduil leave at the birth of his son? I gently rocked Legolas to sleep and closed my eyes.
