Kageyama squinted his eyes together, trying to make out if that really was Kenma he saw in the distance.But he already knew it was Kenma. He could recognize the two toned hair from everywhere.

"Huh? Kenma-chan? Your friend?" Oikawa asked.

"Yes... more or less friend." Kageyama answered. He missed Hinata and Kenma. He realized this now more than ever. His new life kept him busy, yes, but now that he saw Kenma he couldn't do anything against the gaping hole in his chest.If he didn't talk to him now, he didn't know hen he would ever get the chance to again.

"Do you.... maybe wanna go back? We can see the documentary an other time, can't we, Oikawa?" Iwaizumi and Oikawa knew about his relation with his two ex- best friends, and they didn't know if that topic was sensitive or not.Just in case, he offered to go home. They could always spend their date with other activities.

"Yeah! Totally! It's not like- like this documentary is a special edition that's nowhere out yet. It's not like this was a premiere! We can totally go home!" Oikawa said. He really wanted to see this alien documentary, but he knew better than to be stubborn. He still couldn't help it.

"No! It's alright! Uh... when does the movie start?" Kageyama asked, eyes still focused on Kenma and that guy. They were now holding hands, while looking at each other. Probably talking.

"Uh... we still have 20 minutes left. Why though?" Iwaizumi said.

'Okay. 20 minutes. Is that gonna be enough? Ugh... I'll just have to make it quick. It's now or never.' Kageyama thought. He needed to talk to Kenma. This was an opportunity he wouldn't get again that easily. Kageyama was afraid of rejection, but he had to get this done. He missed them.

"Uh. I'd like to go and talk to him, is that okay? I'll be quick!" Kageyama informed his boyfriends. Although he already made his way to Kenma while he was still talking, indicating that he left no room for objection.

"Sure.. whatever. 'Kawa, lets go." Iwaizumi and Oikawa followed him, shortly behind.

"Kenma! Kenmaaa!" Kageyama waved both his arms above his head, as he ran towards Kenma. The other male turned his head towards him, and his eyes got wide in surprise. Though, Kageyama did not notice, cause he was still too far away to make out facial expressions.Kenma felt all the love that was surrounding him and Kuroo plop like bubbles, and instead he got nervous.He did not expect to see Kageyama there. Well, they saw each other in college, but they didn't talk. It was an unspoken pact between the three of them.

He quickly let go of Kuroo's hand, and shyly waved in Kageyamas direction. Kuroo didn't completely know what had occurred between Kenma and his former friends, but he knew that they made kenma sad. That was enough, in his opinion. And he couldn't remember Kenma telling him about them living in harmony again, so he crossed his arms in front of his chest, and raised a brow.He was very protective when it came to Kenma.

Right before Kageyama came, Kenma had told him that he was willing to try out this couple stuff if it meant getting to spend time with Kuroo.he didn't know if it was love that he felt towards Kuroo, but there definitely was something.Kenma had promised him to try, and Kuroo had promised to show him how it felt to be loved.Kuroo didn't need Kenma's old friends interrupting their newfound  relationship. Not now. In fact, never.

Kageyama came to a halt in front of Kenma and Kuroo, panting. Damn, he really needed to start going to the gym again.

"Hi! Kenma! How- how are you? How have you been?" Kageyama asked. He looked way more calm on the outside as he felt on the inside. Internally, he was a mess. He was awaiting rejection, but he hoped he wouldn't have to face that.

"Uhhhh good... how- how about you... Tobio?" Kenma fiddled with his fingers. His eyes suddenly averted to the two other male that now stood behind Kageyama. Weren't they his... bosses? Why would they go to the cinema?

While Kenma was literally confused, and Kageyama was still catching his breath, there was a whole different tension elsewhere.Kuroo and Oikawa and Iwaizumi had a staring contest. The two male noticed how the black haired dude looked at their precious boyfriend ridiculing. As if he despised him, and at the same time thought better about himself. That of course, they couldn't leave unnoticed. Now they were staring at the man with the bed head.

"I- I'm good. Wh-what have u been... up to? Lately..." Kageyama found the situation so awkward.

"Uh... not much. Been pretty busy with college I guess." Kenma nodded in discomfort. He didn't know what Kageyama wanted. If he was him, he would totally stay away from the person that insulted him in his anger. But here Kageyama was. Initiating a conversation with exactly this person.

"Cool..." Kageyama didn't know what else to ask. It was just one week between their quarrel anyways.

"Uh.. is that- is that your..." he pointed towards Kuroo, hoping that Kenma  understood what he meant.

"Boyfriend? Yes. Yes I am." Kuroo took care of that question for Kenma. But he couldn't hide the mockery in his voice.As Kageyama realized he wasn't welcome there, he sank his head, gaze now focusing on the ground.He obviously had to make this quick.

Oikawa completely tensed, hearing the sneer in Kuroo's voice, but Iwaizumi grabbed his arm, trying to calm him down.

"Oh..okay I-I'm happy for you. Anyways- I wanted to ask if you wanted to meet up with me and Hinata. Just to.. like catch up with each other. It's been some time now..." he did some weird hand movements to ease his nervousness.Now was the time. The time when Kenma would probably reject, and when he would tell him that-

"Sure! I- I mean yeah.. if you guys are 'Kay with that..." Kenma was so relieved to hear that. He knew he would've never had the courage to ask for a meet up. A hangout.

"Cool! Uh- I'll see you then..? I'll let you know about it through text." Kageyama said. He was more than happy with Kenmas answer. Maybe...just maybe they could be on good terms agin.

He waved Kenma goodbye, and Oikawa and Iwaizumi followed him.But Kageyama could still hear Kuroo talk to Kenma, and what he said made his hopes fall to ashes again.

"For real, Kenma? I thought you wanted to stay away fro them? Wasn't it him who made you hurt yourself?" Kuroo wanted to protect his so to say boyfriend at every cost.

Kageyama was gone, so he couldn't hear what Kenma answered, but he knew that Kuroo was right.

Oikawa and Iwaizumi both grabbed Kageyamas hands. They knew he was feeling down, so they thought of how to make him feel better. They knew this was not the time to talk about it.

"Tadashi!!!! I don't know what to do! They just called, and BOOM! They wanted to meet! Like- i didn't expect this AT ALL! Now I only have 15 Minutes left, and I feel like throwing up!"Hinata was on the verge of going crazy.

Kageyama had called him last week Saturday, and asked for a meet up with him and Kenma. Just like that!Like- Hinata was just hanging out with Tadashi, Kei and Hitoka in Hitoka's dorm when suddenly his phone rang.He was confused since all his current contacts sat next to him or in front of him on the floor.

He quickly picked up without checking the Caller ID. Something he always did, but he knew he had to stop that habit.Especially after he realized who was on the line.If only he had checked then maybe he wouldn't have had to talk to them. Then his life would still be okay, and he wouldn't think about Kageyama agin.

He thought he was over Kageyama. He really did. The week when they didn't see each other, he only thought about Kageyama about 30 times! That was a new record. Normally his mind would be full of Kageyama. Kageyama's smile, his hair, his abs, his voice. Everything just Kageyama.

But as soon as he heard Kageyama's voice echoing through the phone, he was gone. He felt the familiar feeling of Butterflies in his stomach, and warmth in his chest.Realization hit him hard like a truck. He was sad, as he realized he was still in love with Kageyama. He knew the other would never return these feelings, that's why he wanted them to vanish as soon as possible.

But the person he is, he ended up agreeing to the hangout. Although he knew It'd be even harder after that. But at the same time he wanted to see them. So bad.

So now, here he was, in Tadashi's dorm freaking out. 15 minutes before the worst meet up in his own life.

"Don't worry Shoyo. You can do that! Just take a deep breath, and exhale. Hold it for six seconds." Tadashi tried to calm him down, but he knew he'd be even more nervous if he was in Hinata's shoes.

Hinata repeatedly inhaled, held it for six seconds, and exhaled. Tadashi did it with him. Hinata soon found himself more relaxed, but the tingly feeling in his stomach never left.Soon it was time for Hinata to go, so he bid goodbye, and left Tadashi's dorm.

The three of them settled on meeting in the library of campus. There they could talk in peace, and it couldn't escalate.

When Hinata got there, he was the first one to arrive. He just took a seat on one chair as he waited for the others. Totally hung in his thoughts, constantly moving his leg and tapping with his fingers on the desk, he didn't notice Kenma coming in.Only when Kenma took the seat across his, he looked at his ex- best friend. His eyes got wide.

He had changed so much in that one week, and yet he didn't change at all.It was impressive. He only now realized how much he missed Kenma. He always took him for granted. That was his mistake, and he knew that.

"Hello, Shoyo." Kenma said monotone. He didn't smile, he just looked the other straight in the eyes. He needed to find out if he still had feelings for the other, but it looked good at the moment.His heart only slightly beat faster, and he didn't feel himself gettin hot.

"Uhhh hello Kozume-san." Hinata awkwardly said. He didn't know if they were still on first name basis, so he didn't want to rush things. No one said anything after that. The both of them just looked at each other, taking in the others features they hadn't seen in so long.Kenma still had that freckle right on his right ear, Hinata noticed.

"Sorry! I'm sorry I'm late! I got.... uhm delayed." Kageyama made his entrance. He was good eight minutes too late.

Hinata looked at Kageyama, and he felt like he had gotten more beautiful in that one week. His blue eyes were glistening. They had that sparkle he never saw when he was with Kageyama. His black hair was shining and looked fluffy on his head. He wore a simple button up, that was a bit more tight, and simple fabric trousers with a square pattern.Though it was not his outfit that got Hinata blushing. It was simply Kageyama. Kageyama whom he had missed so much, and still loved so dearly. He now knew for sure.

"Uh- no problem!" Hinata eagerly said. He was excited to see Kageyama, but sad at the same time.Kageyama took a seat next to Hinata, and Hinata could not help but notice that he smelled differently. It was not the scent he was used to from before.But he still liked it. He immediately felt the warmth Kageyama brought with him. He flushed immediately.

"Soooo... uhm how are you guys?" Kageyama initiated the conversation, because he knew the others wouldn't, and because he was the one that asked for this.

"GOOD! Uh- I'm good and you?" Hinata said. He shuffled in his seat, clearly uncomfortable. "Yeah. Same here." Kenma hadn't once smiled, or at all changed his facial expression. He gave them that glance that said 'I don't care'. Hinata and Kageyama knew too well.

"What have you guys been up to? Shoyo, I saw you sittin' at lunch with that green haired kid from the party?"

"Oh yeah! That's Tadashi. We take the same classes. He's cool... i guess." Normally, Hinata would talk on and on about that Tadashi guy. But today he didn't. It was again, silent.

Kageyama sighed. Maybe he shouldn't have asked for this. Maybe the others didn't feel like him? Maybe they didn't want to be on good terms again? He wouldn't blame them if they didn't want to.

"Kenma! What about that guy you were with on Saturday? Is he one of your new friends...?" Kageyama asked. This was slowly getting exhausting.

Kenma leaned back, and crossed his legs. "Yes and no. His name is Kuroo. He's by boyfriend. Or so... the day you saw us making... out... was the day we got together. And he was also the one who told me to stay home instead of coming today."

Kageyamas head sank. He started regretting his decision.

"Yeah, but its good to see each other again, no? I mean- i don't know if it was just me, but i missed you guys." Hinata said, trying to ease the tension. Kageyamas head perked up, relief on his face.

"Yeah! I- mean no. It's not only you. I missed you guys too!"

"So, Kageyama you haven't told us about yourself. How have you been?" Hinata asked. He tried his best to make conversation, and when Kageyama gave him a bright smile, he was happy he tried. Seeing Kageyama smile was like a first place reward for him.

"Good! Actually. Really good! Tsumu, samu and Suna are funny to be with, and i am in a relationship since one week now. We have a poly relationship and i think you guys know them. Oikawa and Iwaizumi. The ones that accompanied us to the party, remember, Hinata? Them... I am really happy with them"

Hinatas smile was now completely gone, and even kenma found himself actually interested now. So much change in only two or three weeks? Was he for real?

"Wait-what?" Hinata said.

Kageyama, whom was previously smiling, now looked at Hinata confused. What didn't he understand?"Uh, the part with Tsumu or the part about my relationship?" Kageyama scratched the side of his head.

"No- the relationship." Hinata managed to get out.

"Uh- my bosses and me are together now. Since more than a week now. Aren't- aren't you guys happy for me?"

"We totally are, Tobio. Do you mind telling us how it happened?" Kenma answered. He saw the tears that Built up in Hinatas eyes, so he took over.

Kageyama chuckled. "Funny story actually! So last week I went out for a drink with tsumu, samu and Suna-"

"You drink? You never drank with us!" Hinata asked, now slightly irritated.

"Uh- it was a one time thing. Anyways- longs story short, i confessed while i was drunk. Then i couldn't back out anymore."Hinata let out a humorless chuckle. The story was somehow familiar. Only difference was: he got rejected.

He abruptly stood up. He needed to get out of here. "Uh- i forgot i have to be... somewhere. Can we talk an other time?"Though, he didn't wait for an answer. Instead he turned around and exited the library.

Kageyama groaned, and let his head fall onto the table."Did i do something wrong?" He asked Kenma.

"Just give him some time. He was clearly not over you. It's not your fault." He reached for Kageyama hand. "Y'know, i never meant for you guys to not talk anymore, and i wish i could turn time back to take back what i said. But I hope we can still greet each other when we see us on campus." Kenma needed to get this off his chest.

"No Kenma. It's not your fault. It was necessary. Our relationship was destructive. And I'd be glad to talk again from time to time." Kageyama gave Kenma a weak smile.

He really hoped him and Hinata could make up one day. But he knew that the older needed time. And he knew he needed Oikawa and Iwaizumi now.

Kinda had problems writing this chapter, since i just didn't like how it turned out, but i guess it'll do for now. Hope you guys still liked it tho!
