*Chapter 1*

Charlie's POV

"Charlie get up!" My dad knocked on the door and called to me. I put my pillow over my head and ignored him, hoping I could just go back to sleep and ignore school.

It was pointless anyway, I mean, I was a Stark.

I heard my door open and my dad walk in, pulling my pillow from over my head. "How about you get up?" He rolled his eyes at me as I turned to look at him with my eyes tightly narrowed together due to both my anger towards him and the current burning light that was streaming through my window.

"How about you go away?" I shot back and pulled my pillow off him, getting nice and comfy again. He pulled my cover off me, the cold air smacking my legs and dragged me out of bed before walking out.

I really couldn't be bothered with school. I was in my last year and to be honest, I found school easy. There wasn't much I could be taught that I hadn't already learnt at home with my dad.

I slipped on my sloth jumper, jeans and black converse, quickly brushing my teeth and hair before leaving my room. My mum and dad were in the kitchen already as well as Steve and Thor. "Why are you voluntarily up early? Who are you people?" I complained and grabbed my dad's car keys from the side. I was 17 and could drive but I didn't have my own car yet. My dad refused to buy me one until my 18th birthday, which was extremely annoying.

"If there's one scratch on my car I'll-" I rolled my eyes at my dad and grabbed my bag.

"You'll do nothing because you have about a thousand others" I pointed out, rolling my eyes in his direction. He shrugged and gave me a quick hug before I left.

My mum rushed over to me, giving me a big hug like she did every morning. My mum babied me a lot. I however, was much more like my dad, in both looks and personality.

"Bye" I called out to them and went down to the garage, getting in my dads black Aston Martin DBS9, my favourite one. Though I was like my dad, I wasn't as self-obsessed, so for example, I wouldn't have chosen to have 'Stark' written on the licence plate. It was as if he wanted everyone to follow him places, which was quite possible, but the amount of time I had had a picture taken of me walking out of McDonald's with a burger in my mouth was just annoying.

I pulled out and drove down the road, pulling up at my best friends house. He was sat on the sat on his porches, skateboard in hand, swirling a pen between his fingers. "Hey Parker" I smirked as Peter climbed into my car, waving good bye to his Aunt Mae, who gave me a wave to which I returned.

"Hey Stark" Peter had been my best friend for years and yes, I was aware he was Spider-man. He trusted me and knew it wouldn't put me in danger because well, I was Iron Man's daughter and I lived with the Avengers. The Avengers however, didn't know. They knew of spiderman and of Peter, but not that they were the same person.

I drove us to school and parked in my usual spot, getting out the car and walking inside. People stared, like they always did, but we just ignored them and carried on walking to our class._____________

"Charlotte Stark! Will you please stop talking" Mrs Smith scolded me and I rolled my eyes at her.

"It's Charlie actually, I don't go by Charlotte" I corrected her, leaning back in my chair.

She glared at me before going back to the board and continuing to write out the maths equation. "How did you not get shouted at for that?" Peter rolled his eyes at me and I just smirked.

The bell went and the two of us went to the hallway to go to our lockers. "Aunt Mae has been asking when your coming round again" Peter reminded me. I loved Aunt Mae, she was so sweet. Peter and I had known each other for so long that she treated me like a daughter. His uncle Ben did too, before he passed away.

"I'll be there soon, don't worry. I can come tomorrow and we could finish up on that science project?" I suggested and Peter nodded.

"Hey Charlie. I was wondering if you want to come to my party tonight?" A voice spoke. I turned to see Flash, looking nervous at the fact he was talking to me, I would have thought it was cute but the fact that he had been horrible to Peter for a number of years made that fly out the window.

"Only if Peter come?" I asked. I didn't go anywhere with out Peter and I wasn't going to start now. Peter was the only person who didn't care that I was Tony Starks daughter. He didn't care that I was the heir to Stark Industries. Hell, he didn't care that I live with probably the 6 most famous people in the entire world. And I liked that.

Some people were scared to talk to me because they were afraid that if they did something wrong, the Avengers would come after them. Guys hit on me a lot, most of them probably just after my money or connections. So I just kept with Peter. I talked to other people too but Peter was the only one that I wanted to spend time with.

Him and Flash didn't exactly see eye to eye but Flash nodded anyway before walking off. "Right I've got to go but why don't we meet a block from Flash's apartment at 9?" Peter suggested. I nodded and he gave me a quick hug before skate boarding off.

----------------------------

"Afternoon Chumbs" I chimed as I strolled into the living room where all the Avengers were.

"How was school?" Steve asked me. He was such a fatherly person in general. He was always protective and asked me how my school day was, checking I did my homework etc. Not that my dad didn't, Steve just did too.

"Got our exam results back and got straight A*.Oh and I got sent out of Physics, nothing bad though" I shrugged and grabbed some of Clint's popcorn, shoving it into my mouth before he could slap my hand away.

"What did you do?" Clint smirked. He was often the embodiment of the devil on my shoulder, giving me positive regard every time I did something wrong, which I was pretty sure you weren't meant to do. To say the least, you could class him as a bad influence because if I had a crazy idea, Clint would always tell me to do it, no matter what.

"Well I corrected the teacher because she was wrong. Then I spoke to my friend and she said I wasn't listening so I told her that I clearly was as I didn't fail to correct her obvious mistake. She got annoyed and sent me out." I chuckled at the memory.

They all laughed a bit and shook their heads at me. Lets just say this isn't the first time it's happened. I decided that I may as well just ask my dad about the party now, whilst he was in a good mood.

"Hey dad, I've been invited to a party tonight, can I go?" I smiled and tried to act innocent.

"No" My dad stated flatly and didn't even look up from the paper in his hands. My dad was way to over protective, in fact, they all were. It was almost like they were all my parents or older siblings.

"What? Why not?" I complained.

"It's not safe for you to be outside at night by yourself Charlie" Bruce pointed out. I was almost about to say I would be fine because I would be with spiderman but I didn't let it slip out. Besides I could easily take care of myself, this whole protect the girl stereotype did not go down well with me, if they had seen someone try get in the way of me and my food then they would know that I was perfectly capable of fending for myself.

"I won't be alone! I'll be with Peter." I reminded them and Thor chuckled at the thought. Bit rude, he's spiderman after all.

"Oh yeah some skinny kid will be there to protect you, I feel fine now" My dad joked sarcastically and I saw Clint chuckle. They all liked Peter a lot and thought he was a good kid, he was the only boy I was aloud to hang out with, but they didn't think he was much protection, which was ironic really.

"Dad, Peter's actually very qualified to protect me and besides I can protect myself, will you please stop being a cave man and join us in the 21at century" I stated. I almost wanted to scream that Peter could easily give him a good match in his Iron man suit but I kept my mouth shut.

However, my dad just shook his head. "No, the only way you can go is if one of us are with you" What? No, no way. That would just make me stand out more than I already did. I mean, having a body guard to a party? Really?

"Seriously? This is a teen party dad" I cringed at the thought.

"How about Clint goes there with you, but keeps his distance, say he will be somewhere near by incase" Steve suggested. Clint looked up from his magazine and sighed. Clint was just as protective and was actually the only one who didn't like Peter, I don't know why, but he also knew I could hold my own. After all he trained with me all the time.

"Wait, so are you meeting that Parker kid?" Clint rolled his eyes. I didn't know why Clint disliked Peter, but I guess he was like a human lie detector and could tell that Peter was hiding something.

I've known him longer than I've known you dude, so you may as well call him Peter" I rolled my eyes at Clint.

"Fine I'll go"
