Ch. 51-60

After that night, you and James felt more in love than ever. You two actually slept in the same bed more often and were in more love than you could've imagined. The next three months went by just as the last few months had. Belle went to her dance class, you went to work, and James began working on another BTR tour. They were also secretly starting another album but only you, Alexa and Victoria knew besides the guys and the producers. The night before Belle's end of the class performance, the BTR guys came over for dinner with their girlfriends. "We can't wait to see you dance, Belle." Carlos said. "Yeah, I'm glad it isn't me dancing." Logan joked. "That's because you always are a step behind or doing it wrong." James laughed. Everyone laughed at Logan's notoriety of being off while dancing. "I've gotten so many tweets with pictures about that." Logan rolled his eyes. "I think you'd shock some rushers to death if you got the whole thing right." Kendall joked. Everyone laughed again and even Logan cracked a grin. "Yeah, yeah." He laughed. "I want you guys to sit in the front." Belle said. "Ok, we'll get there extra early so that we can get the best seats." You promised. The next day you and James dropped Belle off early in the morning at the theater where the whole dance studio would perform. Every class was doing a dance for parents so there was one last dress rehearsal the morning of. You and James decided to go home since you wouldn't need to be at the theater for nearly five hours. When you got home, there was a balloon on the front porch. It was lavender and had a note that was attached to it. "Go to where we first met." It read. "James, what is this?" You asked. "My lips are sealed." He smiled, giving you a goodbye kiss. You rolled your eyes, smiling. It wasn't your birthday for another few weeks so you weren't sure why James was making you do another scavenger hunt like for Belle's birthday. You went to the grocery store where another lavender balloon had another note. "Go to the apartment." You headed over to the apartment where you found another lavender balloon. "Go to the park where you tried to pay me back." You smiled at the memory and went to the park. Tied to the bench was a lavender balloon with a note. "Go to the place of our first date." You tried to think of your first date with James but weren't 100% sure about what it was. It could've been the Pizza Hut or maybe the beach. You flipped over the note there would be something helpful on it and saw a picture of what looked like a beach and boardwalk. You smiled and jumped into the car and drove to the beach. You weren't sure where to go when you got to the beach but you walked onto the beach in search of another lavender balloon. 

Ch. 52 

Down the beach you could see a fairly large group of people. Timidly you walked to them and as you got closer, you began to recognize them. They were all bunched together and you saw Alexa and Victoria holding more lavender balloons. "What is this?" You asked. "Read the note!" Victoria and Alexa exclaimed together. Smiling, you took the note. It simply said "Look up, beautiful." You looked up and saw the crowd parting, showing James walking towards you in a tuxedo, carrying red roses. Your mouth dropped and you suddenly realized what was about to happen. Tears began to form in your eyes. "Amanda Leigh, I've loved you since I met you. You are everything I could ever want and you make me a better person. You're my other half and I can't imagine my life without you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do me the honor of being my wife and being with me for the rest of eternity?" James asked as he got down on one knee and took out a diamond ring. You couldn't stop the tears from spilling down your cheek as you nodded yes. You couldn't even say "yes"; you were lost for words. As soon as James put the ring on your finger, James stood up and you two kissed to the cheers of everyone there. When you finished kissing, you looked around to who was there. Kendall, Carlos, Logan, Dustin, Alexa and Victoria were right in front of you. You saw James' parents and siblings too. There were even some friends from other places and you began to cry tears of joy again at all the people who came. Carlos was snapping away with his camera, trying to catch every moment. You and James mingled with everyone and they all congratulated you two on the engagement. "I can't believe you did all this." You said when you and James got into the car (he had gotten a ride earlier with the guys). "I'd do anything for you. I'm glad you liked it." James smiled, holding your hand. "Do you like the ring?" James asked. "It's perfect. Not too big or flashy. I couldn't have picked out a better one myself." You smiled, kissing James' cheek as he drove. "I'm glad you like it." James smiled back. "The scavenger hunt was a time consuming tactic, wasn't it?" You laughed. "That, and it got you thinking of some of our memories. didn't it?" James laughed too. "Yeah. How are we going to tell Belle?" You asked. "Don't worry. I've already got that planned out." James winked. "What are you going to do?" You asked. "I'm not going to tell you. It'll be cuter that way." James replied. "James! You're my fiancé. You have to tell me everything now." You joked, pretending to whine. You grinned from ear-to-ear at the word "fiancé". James laughed. "That's no fun." He joked back as he kissed your cheek quickly. You two talked the whole ride to the studio. 

Ch. 53

When you and James got to the studio, you found everyone else and sat down in the front so Belle could see that you were there. Carlos had his camera out again so he could take pictures of Belle's performance. James had his video camera out, ready to press record. The dance studio owner came out and said the stereotypical "we had such amazing students who were such hard workers." They started with the youngest class (two year olds) and it went up chronologically from there. After four performances, Belle's class came out. There were about 20 kids in her class and they did a little montage of the different types of dances. When they were done, everyone in your group stood up and cheered. Belle saw you all and waved before heading backstage. When all of the performances were done about 2 hours later, everyone in your group (BTR, their girlfriends and James' family) went outside to wait for Belle. When she came out she ran over to you all. James picked her up and gave her a big hug. "You were amazing!" He said. "Yeah, maybe you can replace Logan." Carlos joked. Everyone laughed. "I'm in competition with a five year old." Logan replied dramatically, making Belle giggle. You took Belle from James and gave her a kiss. "I'm so proud of you! You're my little star." You said. Everyone complimented Belle on her dancing. James ran to the car and came back with roses and something behind his back. "Isabelle Ariel, you're my first daughter and your mommy and I are so proud of everything you've done. I can't imagine my life without you in it. Will you let me marry your mommy so we can officially be a family?" James asked getting on one knees. He pulled out a Ring Pop and held it out like he was proposing to her. "Do I get to be the flower girl? Do I get a little sister?" Belle asked. "Yes to the first question, and I can't make any guarantees on the second." James laughed. Smiling, Belle took the Ring Pop and nodded. "Ok then!" She replied. Everyone laughed at Belle's response. "Can we go get married now?" Belle asked. "We have to plan it first." You replied. Belle looked a little disappointed but noticed the engagement ring on your finger. She grabbed your hand and looked at it. "Did Daddy do a good job of picking the ring?" You asked. Belle nodded. "I like mine too!" She added. "You're such a goober." Kendall laughed hugging her. Soon people started leaving. As they left, they congratulated you and James and complimented Belle one last time. "Can I call you Uncle Carlos, Kendall and Logan now?" Belle asked as they said their goodbyes. "Of course!" They all replied. Belle was very excited that she could call James' brother and sister Uncle Phil and Aunt Ali. She was even more excited to call James' parents Grandma and Grandpa. "Did you have fun today?" You asked as James drove you and Belle home. Belle nodded vigorously. "Today was the best day ever." She replied, eating her Ring Pop happily. 

Ch. 54

A few months passed. Every time James went out, he'd come back with more wedding magazines. "James, we have more than enough wedding planning things." You laughed when he handed you another magazine. "I know but I want to make sure you see every option and have the perfect wedding." He replied. "I would get married in the court house. Just as long as I'm with you." You smiled kissing him. You talked with Alexa, Victoria and Ali about wedding ideas and they'd always give you feedback so it wasn't quite as stressful as you thought it'd be. James pulled a few strings that allowed you and Belle to join him. When James told you that you and Belle could go on tour, you and James had a very serious "grown up" talk. You didn't think either of your jobs would be ok with you taking two and a half months off so you and James had a talk about you quitting your jobs. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" You asked. "Of course. If you want to get a job after the tour, you can find something. You'll still be planning the wedding by the time the tour ends so you can do that full-time." James replied. "Ok. I just don't want you to have to do all the working; I can help with the income." You said. "I'm not worried about anything financial." James smiled. So you quit your two jobs about a week before the tour started. On your last day, you and James told Belle the news. "So Belle, Daddy and I have some news." You began as Belle ate her breakfast. "Mommy is going to quit her jobs today because we're all going on tour this summer!" James said. "Tour with Uncle Kendall and Uncle Logan and Uncle Carlos?" Belle asked. "Yep. All summer long." You nodded. Belle excitedly asked lots of questions about going on tour. Belle had about two weeks left of school when you and James told her about the tour. A few days before tour, you began packing for the tour. Each one of you would be taking one suitcase so you began to pick out what you wanted to bring with you. Belle tried to help pick out what she wanted to bring on tour although she was a little more concerned about bringing some of her stuffed animals than clothes. The guys had picked straws to choose who would be on what bus. The three of you would be with Logan on one bus while Kendall, Carlos, Alexa and Dustin would be on the other bus. Belle was eager to wake up early the day the tour began and was very excited to spend so much time with Uncle Logan this summer. 

Ch. 55

Tour life was quite different than anything you had ever experienced. Belle seemed to adjust to it pretty well. She loved her little bunk and had made it very Belle-ish with pink blankets and stuffed animals everywhere. Unfortunately it was a little too cramped for you and James to sleep in the same bunk so you two slept on separate bunks across from each other. Bedtime on the bus was a little difficult because there were only three sections on the bus and the bunks were in the middle one so it was impossible to be quiet enough when Belle went to sleep. She learned how to sleep with noise. She loved that Uncle Logan could read her bedtime stories to her and play with her whenever. One night Logan was texting away. "Who's bugging you so much?" James joked. "An old friend from Texas." Logan replied. "Girl friend?" James asked. "Well 'friend' isn't exactly the right word. More like a former classmate who got my phone number and wants to be my girlfriend." Logan rolled his eyes. "How'd she get your phone number?" You asked. "Freaking Brent gave it to her. I'm so done with him. I should've known he'd do this." Logan said irritated. "What do you mean you 'should've known he'd do that'?" James asked. "I basically cut off contact with him about a month or so ago. I'm just done with him and his shenanigans. He acts like a high schooler and is just full of drama and I'm over it." Logan replied putting down his phone. "What shenanigans?" You asked. "Well, first... what he did to you. I considered ignoring him forever then but I needed to know more about what his parents had been giving you so I didn't stop talking to him. He's always breaking girls' hearts and being a player and I'm tired of hearing about it. I stopped talking to him and this is his revenge: giving out my phone number to gold diggers." Logan sighed. "You should probably change your number soon, bro." James said as he got up and kissed you. "I'm beat. I'm going to bed. Good night, you two." James said as he went into the bunks. "You really thought about cutting him out of your life because of what he did to Belle and me?" You asked after James left. "Yeah. What he did was wrong on a number of levels and I felt really bad. I knew James would be in my life for a long time and he never shut up about you so I figured you two would be together for a long time and it'd be super awkward between you and me." Logan shrugged. "Wow." You said. You didn't know what else to say. "I'm trying to do good. I just don't want people like him in my life. Even though he was my best friend since I was five. I guess people change too much sometimes." Logan replied. "Yeah. You've changed a lot since I met you, you know." You said. Logan raised an eyebrow. "I mean look at you; you're thinking about losing someone you've been friends with for like two decades over his ex girlfriend who you didn't even like when we met." You pointed out. Logan blushed at the reminder of his dislike towards you in high school. "Yeah, I guess." He said simply. "Thank you. Thank you for changing and being a better person. If Belle was old enough and knew everything, she'd say thank you too." You replied. Logan gave you a little smile as you got up and went to your bunk to go to sleep. </pre>

Sometimes everyone would come over to one bus when driving between cities. All eight people on one bus got a little crowded but it was always fun and lots of laughter. "I'm glad you came on tour with me this year. I don't know if I'd want to see you only by Skype for three months again." James said one day. You smiled. "I'm glad too. I missed you so much when you were on tour." You replied. Soon, it was almost the end of the tour. Belle had grown very attached to everyone and wasn't happy it was about to end. "Belle, it's not like we're leaving you. We'll still be in the same town." Kendall tried to tell her. "No. You won't play the guitar for me and Uncle Logan won't read my bedtime story and Uncle Dustin won't play with me and Uncle Carlos won't be silly." Belle replied sourly, folding her arms. On the last night of tour, Carlos and James had gotten seats for you, Belle and Alexa in the second row. When it came time for the Worldwide Girls (WWG) to be chosen, James chose you and Belle and Carlos chose Alexa. Since it was the last night, the guys decided to make it special so Dustin got to choose a wwg too. Dustin, Kendall and Logan all chose their WWG and everyone sat on the stools. When the song was over all the guys simultaneously kissed their WWG. Carlos and James kissed Alexa and you on the lips and the other guys kissed their WWG on the cheek to the screams of people in the crowd. James gave Belle a quick kiss too before all the WWGs went back to their seats. This time when you and Belle went back to your seats, people were saying things about how lucky you two were, not about how James was dating a single mom. You were so glad times had changed. Belle, Alexa and you enjoyed the rest of the concert. When it was over security helped you get up on the stage so you three could get back to the guys faster. Everyone was hugging and congratulating each other on another successful tour. When James saw you and Belle, he picked Belle up and hugged and kissed the two of you. "I'm so glad I got to do this with you two." He said between kisses. 

Ch. 57

That night there was a party on your tour bus. All of BTR, you, Alexa, Belle and some roadies piled onto the bus. Someone put on music and someone else had run to the grocery store during the concert and gotten food and drinks. You and James agreed to let Belle stay up and join the party. If you didn't let her stay up, either you or James would have to stay with her and the party would had to be on the other bus. Everyone at the party had a good time eating, laughing and talking about the tour. Sometimes Belle would be able to convince one of her uncles to do a puzzle with her while talking to others. You and Alexa went in one of the bunks to talk. When you came out awhile later, you saw Belle had fallen asleep in Logan's lap. She was holding a book and her favorite stuffed animal and looked very peaceful in Logan's arms. "Do you want to put her in her bed?" You asked Logan. He shook his head. "I'm going to hold her while she lets me. Plus, I don't want to wake her up." He smiled. You smiled back. Soon other people began to fall asleep too. You had cleared stuff out of your bed so someone could sleep there. Some people had fallen asleep in the bunks and some had fallen asleep in the back area of the bus. Carlos and Alexa were crushed together in one of the bunks. You and James decided you'd sleep together to save room for others. When Logan began to nod off, you gently shook him. "Do you want me to take her so you can go sleep?" You asked. Logan shook his head. "I'll do it." He smiled tiredly. He carefully got up and walked into the bunk area. He gently placed her in her bed and covered her with her blankets, tucking her favorite stuffed animal in with her. "I'll always be here for you. I'll never be like Brent. I love you, Belle." Logan whispered so quietly you almost couldn't hear him. He then gently kissed Belle's forehead and went to the couch to sleep. You and James were the last ones to go to sleep. 

Ch. 57

When you all got back to LA the next morning, the tour buses went to the same place where they had left. As everyone began to pile off the bus, you watched from one of the windows. You heard a commotion and saw Logan pushing someone away. You ran off the bus to intervene. "Go!" Logan yelled when he saw you coming towards him. The guy in the hoodie turned and you saw it was Brent. "Amanda! Go now!" Logan yelled again. You were torn between helping Logan and getting Belle away safely. Brent ducked and Logan missed. Brent came over to you and asked angrily "Is Belle here? I have to see her." "No. She's staying with her aunt." You lied. You hoped Brent wouldn't try to go after Ali. Brent grabbed you and slammed you into the bus. "Don't lie to me!" He yelled. You could smell the alcohol on Brent's breathe. Logan came running over and tackled Brent. "Go! Now!" Logan yelled again. This time you listened and ran back onto the tour bus to grab your things. "James, Brent is out there. Carlos and Kendall, one of you grab Belle and hide her in a blanket. The other one, grab her stuffed animals and a blanket. Go to your cars and drive away. Go anywhere and don't go to James' house until we say it's safe. James and I will text you." You ordered. Carlos decided he and Alexa would take Belle. Carlos, Alexa and Kendall ran off the bus and went to their cars and drove off in separate directions. "How did this happen?" James asked stressed. You and James ran back off the bus to see security running towards Logan and Brent who were full-out fist fighting now in the parking lot. The guards pulled them off of each other. A minute later two police cars pulled up and arrested Brent and Logan. "Oh my god." You whispered. James hugged you. "It'll be ok." He said. After the police left, you and James got the rest of your stuff off the bus and put it in the car. You called Alexa and found out they had gone to the park near your house. You called Kendall to tell him what had happened and thanked him for helping. You and James drove to the park to find Belle. When you got there, you two told Carlos and Alexa what had happened. They both listened intently with wide eyes. "I can't believe this is happening." You sighed, siting on a bench with your head in your heads. Alexa sat down next to you and gave you a hug. "It'll be ok. Belle is safe and Brent didn't hurt you." She said. "But he hurt Logan. I can't believe they actually hit each other like that." You said shaking your head. You, James, Alexa and Carlos sat on the bench while Belle played, waiting for news from Logan. 

Ch. 58

The four of you had waited at the park for over an hour when your cell phone rang. "Hello?" You said, the caller ID was blocked. "Amanda? It's Logan. I only get one call so I really hope you can help. I can get out of the LA County Jail if you post my $2,000 bail. I swear I'll pay it back as soon I as I get out but I need your and James' help." Logan begged. "Of course! We'll be there soon. Hang in there." You agreed. You hung up and told James, Carlos and Alexa what Logan had said. "Do you want us to take Belle home? We can wait for you there." Carlos offered. "I don't want you guys to have to stay any longer." You said. "No, no. We want to." Alexa replied. Sighing, you and James agreed to have Carlos and Alexa take Belle home. You and James got in the car and went to the jailhouse. James paid for Logan's bail and Logan was released. When he came out to the parking lot you saw the bruises and cuts on his face from the fight. "Oh my god!" You said, taking Logan's face in your hands and looked at all the injuries. "I'm so sorry." You apologized. "You didn't do anything, Amanda." Logan replied as he got in the car. The drive home was quiet. You and James insisted that Logan come home with you. When you three got into the house, Belle came running into the hall but stopped when she saw Logan's beat up face. "What happened?" She asked, looking at Logan, frightened. "I got into a fight. But I'm ok." Logan tried to explain. Belle began to cry and ran to Logan and hugged his legs. He put down his bag and picked her up. "It's ok. Don't cry." He said trying to comfort her. You went to the freezer and got him ice to put on his black eye and other bruises. Soon Carlos and Alexa left. Belle was ok after awhile and went to bed after dinner. Once Belle was in bed, you, James and Logan sat down in the living room and began to talk. "Did Brent come up to you in the parking lot?" James asked. "Yeah. He knew you two were on the bus and he said he had seen pictures so he knew Belle was with you too." Logan answered. "Why did he come back?" You asked. Logan shrugged. "Maybe he wanted to get back at me or maybe he wanted to see Belle but I don't know." Logan replied. "Are we going to have to get a restraining order? What if he tries to get custody of Belle?" You began to panic. "Amanda, Amanda, calm down." James said taking your hand. "I'd lay low for awhile. Just plan the wedding. Once your married have James legally adopt Belle and everything should be ok." Logan said. "Maybe you should get a restraining order. What if he tries to come after you? Maybe you should spend the night here." James replied. Logan thought about it and nodded. "Yeah, I guess that'd probably be a good idea. Thanks." Logan said. Soon the conversation drifted to another subject. Logan fell asleep on the couch so you grabbed a blanket and laid it over him. Then you and James went upstairs and went to bed. 

Ch. 59 

The next morning you came downstairs to see Logan playing with Belle. "Look, Mommy! Uncle Logie is still here!" Belle greeted you excitedly. "I see." You smiled. You began to make pancakes, eggs and waffles for breakfast. Soon James came down to the kitchen. "Smells wonderful." He said hugging you from behind and stealing a quick kiss. After breakfast, Logan decided to head home. "Be careful. Call if anything happens." You said. Logan nodded and gave you, James and Belle a hug as he said goodbye. There weren't many groceries in the house since you had only gotten back from tour yesterday. You took Belle to the grocery store and James went to the gym next to the grocery store. As you went up and down the aisles, Belle chattered away about the tour and how fun her uncles were. You were nearly done when you heard someone behind you say in a prissy southern voice "Amanda?" You felt your heart nearly stop. You slowly turned around. You saw Brent's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Davis. "Is this our-" Mrs. Davis began to ask. "No." You lied and began to push the cart away. You quickly texted "SOS. Brent's parents. Grocery store." to James. Mr. Davis grabbed your arm as you tried to go away. You saw Belle's frightened face. "Why are you running away?" Mr. Davis asked. "Don't come near me or my family." You said firmly. "I have the right to see my granddaughter." Mrs. Davis said. "No, you don't. You paid me to leave. I left. End of story." You replied. "Hey! Get off her!" Yelled a voice. You saw a sweaty James running down the aisle. "Daddy!" Belle cried scared. James picked her up out of the shopping cart and held her. "Stay away from my family. Your family has done nothing good for my fiancé and daughter. Don't come near us again." James warned. "Fiancé? Daughter?" Mr. Davis laughed. "Good luck with her." Mrs. Davis sneered. You and James began to walk away to pay for the groceries and leave. "I will see my granddaughter. Maybe I'll even take her back to Texas. Your parents know everything now. Don't think you've gotten away with anything." Mr. Davis warned. "My parents know?" You thought scared. What did they think of you? Do they want to see you? Your mind was buzzing with questions but you didn't have time to think about them. You quickly paid for the groceries and left. "Why are they here?" James asked as you two went to the car. Belle held on tightly to James' neck, still frightened. "They must be here to bail out Brent. What are we going to do?" You replied. "It'll be ok." James kissed you as you two put the groceries in the car. "No, Daddy! Don't let go." Belle cried as James put her in her car seat. "I'm not leaving, Belle. We're going home." James said kissing her forehead and shut the door. He jumped in the driver seat and drove off. 

Ch. 60 

James drove around for a little while to make sure you weren't being followed. He asked you to call Logan to see if he knew about Brent's parents being in town. Logan had no idea that Brent's parents were in town but also thought that it was likely to bail Brent out of jail. Logan told you to lay low and not leave the house until Brent's parents left. He said he'd check with his parents to see when the Davises went back to Texas. You ended the conversation as you pulled into the driveway. Once James got Belle out of her carseat, she refused to let go of James so he carried her around as you two unloaded the groceries. After Belle went to bed that night, you and James stayed up talking about what had happened. That night you could barely sleep; you tossed and turned, thinking about what Brent's parents wanted from you. What were the odds that they'd just happen to run into you at the grocery store? There had to be at least a hundred in LA and it wasn't even close to the jail where Brent had been. The next morning, Logan called and asked if he could come over and talk to you and James. When he got to your house, he was obviously panicked about something. "I have a favor I need to ask. I'd ask Kendall or Carlos but I think it'd work out better if it was you." Logan said, dancing around the subject. "Logan, what is it?" You asked. "I don't feel safe at my place. I can't trust Brent anymore so I need to move but I need to find a place and that can take some time so I was wondering.... well, if you guys might let me stay here? Only for a little while! I swear. You won't even know I'm here." Logan asked. "Of course!" James replied immediately. They both looked at you. "Yeah. I don't have a problem with it." You shrugged, partially shocked at how scared Logan seemed. It was so out of character to you. "Oh my gosh. Thank you so much. I owe you guys big time!" Logan replied relieved. "We can help you move your stuff here." James offered. That afternoon James and Logan packed up Logan's place. It wasn't too hard since he didn't own any of the furniture in it. Belle was super excited to live with "Uncle Logie" again. Several days later, a letter came that told you the Davises were going to try to get custody of Belle. You nearly threw up and James and Logan rushed to your side to see what was so horribly wrong. "We will get the best lawyers and defense team. I won't let them take her from us." James swore as he held you tightly. </pre>
