Chapter Nine

Naruto POV

I still had to be careful around Shikamaru. He could tell someone and it would be all over for me and Minami. I would never have the chance to see her again and that would completely brake me.

Biting my lip i nervously followed Minami and Shikamaru to the others.

I could feel my fever sapping my strength with every step. Damn. I didn't know how long I could last at this rate.

My lungs were on fire and my side burned. You'd think I'd be used to the pain. I am only used to hiding it. Plus the kyuubi normally heals me.

"Naruto stop skipping work!" Sakura and Ino screeched.

I already feel rubbish I don't need this stupid mask to.

"Sorry Sakura and Ino." I grinned.

Why did I choose this character all he even does is grin. Put up with it a little longer. Just a little longer...
