She opened her eyes, only to see large grey stone slabs hundreds of feet high, and ivy vines surrounding her.

The sun seemed to be out so she guessed it was morning.

"What is this place?" She said to herself.

A throbbing headache started to grow so she pressed her palm to her temple in an attempt to stop the pain.

She tried to stand up, but she felt extremely weak.

Eventually though, she managed to pick herself up and get on her feet.

She looked around, confusion apparent on her face.

"Hello? Is anybody there?" She called out, but the only response she got was from her own echo.

She continued to walk down, taking random turns left and right.

Then she realised -

"This is a maze." She whispered, partially in awe and partially afraid.

Panic started to grow in her chest.

Where the heck am I? What is this place? How am I going to get out.

These thoughts flooded her mind and she soon fell into a frenzy.

Her eyes welled up with tears as she felt the sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach.

She wanted to throw up.

Hurriedly, she rushed to one of the ivy walls, leaning on it for support.
