DIGGY'S P.O.V.

*in the car an hour later*

Diggy- *driving* *presses his foot down further on the pedal*

Y/N- Diggy, slow down! You're gonna get us killed!!

Diggy- Y/N, I have no time!

Y/N- Stop! Seriously! Your daughter is in danger and her mom is tied up and you want to get a ticket and let us die too?!

Diggy- *lifts his foot up slightly* *grabs the steering wheel* *leg shakes*

Y/N- *looks at him* Let me drive.

Diggy- *looks at you* 

Y/N- Pull over. I'm serious.

Diggy- *sighs* *slows down and pulls over* *gets out*

Y/N- *gets in his seat*

Diggy- *opens the passenger door* *gets in* Keep following the signs to Philly. And hurry

Y/N- I know *starts to drive*

I was scared. More than that. Even thought Y/N did just under 60mph in the car, I felt like we weren't going fast enough. I was so scared. Was Jasmine alright? Where was Sia? And Karl? Goddammit, I hope they were alright.

*a short while later*

Diggy- *jumps out the car* *runs to the house* *bangs the door and shouts* Jasmine! Jasmine can you hear me?!

JASMINE'S P.O.V.

Jasmine- *hears Diggy outside* *looks at Justine and tries to talk* *starts to choke*

Justine- *shakes her head* No. You wanted my grandbaby away from me and now I'll make sure she never sees you again *leaves and locks the door

This whole room.. full of smoke. I had something tied around my mouth, I couldn't speak and could barely breathe. I had tears all down my face, she'd slapped and bruised me and my boyfriend.. and Karl had completely passed out. I needed to save him. 

All this time I was bleeding out. I was weak, I'd been stabbed three times and only my clothes on me were stopping any more blood from being lost. As I was tied, up, I was close to freeing myself and having this rope away from my hands. I prayed I didn't die. I prayed my family didn't die...

Jasmine- *fights the rope off her wrists* *gasps in relief* *pulls the tie from her mouth* *gets out the chair* *runs over to Karl* Baby! *coughs* Baby say something.. say something! *starts to cry and coughs* *weakly pulls him away from the fire and smoke*

*fire becomes more violent*

JUSTINE'S P.O.V.

Justine- *walks downstairs* *hears Diggy banging on the door* *smirks and walks past the door* *plays with the blade in her hand*

Diggy- *looks at her* *slams his hand through the glass* *breaks down the door*

Y/N- *covers her face in horror at the blood*

Justine- *looks back at them* *starts to run*

Diggy- *runs and grabs her* No, you're not going anywhere!

Justine- *pulls a knife out* Do you wanna die like Jasmine?

Diggy- *eyes widen* You what? You killed her?!

Justine- *smirks* You bet I did

Diggy- *throws her into the wall* *looks at you* Go and find Sia. Now.

Y/N- *runs to the backyard*

Diggy- *looks at his mom* How could you do this!?

Justine- *shouts back at him* If you just listened to what I said, if you both listened!!

Diggy- *coughs* Don't you want me to be happy!?

Justine- *looks down* So you're happier when you're not around me?

Diggy- *pushes her away* Now I am.

Justine- *grips the knife and stabs him*

Diggy- *stumbles and holds his stomach* *looks at her and slaps her*

Justine- *falls onto the floor*

Diggy- *looks at her on the ground* *holds the wall to steady him* *tries to walk upstairs* *pulls his collar over his nose and mouth* Jasmine! *coughs* Jas! *follows the smoke*

YOUR P.O.V.

Y/N- *looks in the backyard* Sia! Sia, it's Y/N, I need you to come out for daddy! *looks around* Sia!

Sia- *peeks from behind a bush* I'm here!

Y/N- *looks over and sees her* *runs over and grabs her*

Sia- *laughs* Your hands are cold!

Y/N- *cuddles her close* Sia, we need to get you out of here.

Sia- *pouts and looks at you* But we're playing! Where's daddy?

Y/N- *looks at the burning house* Shit..

Sia- *gasps* You said a bad word!

Y/N- *puts her finger to her lips* Don't tell anyone.. *looks at the phone in her hands* *take sit* We need to call the ambulance.. and police.

DIGGY'S P.O.V.

Diggy- *pushes a door open* *burning wood falls from the ceiling* *backs away and covers his mouth* Jasmine, where are you?! *coughs and splutters*

Jasmine- *sobs and cries in pain* Daniel... help us! *struggles to breathe*

Diggy- *sees her* *staggers through the smoke towards her*

Jasmine- *crying* Karl's dead.. he's dead Diggy.. *coughs and chokes on the air*

Diggy- Don't say that.. don't. Come on, we gotta... *winces in pain*

Jasmine- *looks under his arm at him bleeding* Did she do this to you?

Diggy- We.. we gotta get Karl up. *tries to pick him up* *fire blazes through the room*

Jasmine- *cries and screams*

YOUR P.O.V.

*Ambulances, firemen and police gather outside*

*neighbors come outside and start gathering around the scene*

Y/N- *grabs one of the paramedics* Why aren't you moving any faster?!

Paramedic- Ma'am, we're doing all we can to get them out

Firemen- You said there were people in the building, who?

Y/N- My boyfriend *looks at Sia in her arms* Her mommy and step-dad an.. *pauses*

Fireman- And?

Y/N- *thinks of Justine* *shakes her head* That was it.

*Firemen talk quickly and rush in the building*

Sia- *hugs you* I want my mommy..

Y/N- *holds her tight*

Firemen- *bring out bodies on stretchers*

Y/N- *sees Karl burnt and blooded* *starts to cry and shields Sia's eyes*

Diggy- *looks up from his stretcher* *reaches his hand to you*

Y/N- *starts to cry at the sight of him* Babe...

Sia- *reaches for him* Daddy!!

Jasmine- *pushe dout on a stretcher*

Y/N- *covers her mouth* Jas...

Jasmine- *looks at you* That woman.. she's dead to me. *struggles to speak*

Y/N- *swallows hard* I know how you feel right now..

Jasmine- No. Y/N, trust me, you don't. If Diggy asks about her.. she's dead.

Y/N- *nods a little*

Paramedic- We need to hurry.. she's losing too much blood.

*paramedic pushes her into the ambulance*

Sia- *cries* Mommy!! *starts to sob*

Y/N- *holds her closer* *looks at the house*

*firemen wheel a body out*

Y/N- *stares at it*

Police- *approach you*

Y/N- *looks at them* Hi officers..

Police- We need to ask you a few questions, if that's okay with you. Another body was found in the property

Y/N- Um..

Police- Was anybody else in the house?

Y/N- I think... Her grandmother.. my boyfriend's mom. She did it

Police- Where is she?

Y/N- *clenches her jaw* She's dead. She died in the fire *looks over at the body*

Police- *see where you're looking* I see... *looks at you* We're gonna need you down at the station for more questioning immediately

Y/N- Now isn't a good time. My family is.. *struggles to speak*

Police- We understand. *hands you a card* Just give us a call. *walks away*

Y/N- *turns and gets in Diggy's ambulance* Babe.. baby.. 

Sia- *scrambles from your hands* Daddy!! *starts to sob*

Diggy- *smiles weakly at them*

Y/N- Babe, you're gonna be okay

Diggy- *closes his eyes* *his body starts to shake* I don't feel okay

Y/N- *grabs his hand* *sniffles and tries to stop her tears* Listen to me.. you gotta do this for us. For me and Sia, you have to pull thr..

*machine starts beeping*

Paramedic- His blood pressure is dropping. Ma'am we're gonna have to ask you to stand back

Y/N- *sits back and shakes*

Sia- *looks at them worriedly* *buries her head in your chest*

Paramedics- We've lost him! Quickly.. I need an AED, he's gone into cardiac arrest..

Y/N- *face drops* *starts to cry and shake frantically*
