Starlight wonderland (chapter 15)

(Third pov)

A loud zipper could be heard as Garroth finally forces his suitcase shut after struggling to close it for half an hour. "I told you to bring another one from the addict" The one eyed emo boy says as he himself closes his bag full of clothes. "I've already been up there three times! And besides I got it closed right?" Just as Garroth triumphantly puts his hands on his hips, the blue suitcase shots open and shirts splatter everywhere.

"Ughhh!! I'll get another one..." the blonde boy walks out of the room his arms hanging sadly. Zane can't help but laugh as he watches Garroth ascend the stairs. But he himself has stuff he needs to take care of, something he definitely shouldn't do. He's going to commit a crime.

Zane pulls his shoes on and before heading out the door he yells, "I'M GOING OUT!" He doesn't wait for a reply and leaves the house. As he walks to his destination the only thing he can think about is how stupid this is, and how much trouble he'll be in if he gets caught.

He stands infront of the door on the other side of the road from him and hesitates before knocking. But after he does so it only takes about 5 seconds for the door to fly open. "Zane! You're here!" The pink haired meifwa smiles so bright the black haired male almost goes fully blind, but he realizes something "Hey! You didn't call me-" he's interrupted by Kawaii-chan pulling him inside via his arm. "Kawaii-chan has been waiting for Zane-Kun for a while, and I'm so happy Zane-Kun agreed with me!"

Zane takes a deep breath. "This is a bad idea Kawaii-chan.. If we're caught." Zane begins but is once again shut up by the meifwa. "YES BUT, Zane-Kun told me you're all getting special access to the island that means your luggage isn't checked! It's going to be okay zane-kun!" Kawaii-chan bounces up and down on her toes. Zane once again responds with a sigh, "how am I even gonna get you in?" He shakes his head. "Simple!" Kawaii-chan reaches into the closet on her right and pulls out a massive suit case.

Zane is in pure awe but he once again shakes his head and sighs. "Kawaii-chan it's not going to work." Kawaii-chan just confusingly stares. "First of all it's pink I'm not exactly a pink guy and second, why would I have a human sized suit case with me???" Zane points to the suit case. Kawaii-chan puffs her cheeks up as she thinks. "OH! You can say it's for your family's business! Like your delivering something new for the island to try!" She yells excitingly. Zane thinks about it, "could work... Ugh FINE!" Zane annoyingly looks up at the roof.

Kawaii-chan puts her arms around Zanes neck and over and over again thanking him. Zane couldn't help but smile as his face was buried with the thick layer of pink hair. "He loved seeing her this happy.

Meanwhile an orange haired girl was struggling to fit her books into her suitcase. Lucinda grumbled as the zipper on her suitcase once again slowly opened due too the pressure of the mountain of books underneath.

"I think you'll need to leave some behind." Kim scratched her neck as she finished packing the snack bag. Lucinda rolled her eyes but knew the brunette was right. It stays quiet for a while as the girls continue their packing for the long ride to starlight.

"So how are you?" Kims voice suddenly disturbed Lucinda who was still mourning over the 5 books she has to leave behind. "Huh, ehm fine. Why do you ask?" Lucinda answer not turning her gaze to Kim. "The cuts I mean.." Kims voice is reduced to a whisper at the end of her sentence. Lucinda looks down at her wrist were the scar of the cut still was visible.

Kim noticed how the ginger girl held her scarred wrist in a shaking manner. "Hey- You good? Wanna sit down?" Kim walks up to her quickly when she noticed the first sign of panic. Lucinda just shook her head and smiled "Nah, I'm good. It doesn't bother me anymore" Lucinda sounded confident, Kim backed up again taking the girls words

"she's lying"

Ghosts words pierces trough Kims voice when they leave to the kitchen to grab the last of the snacks. "I know..." Kim sat down on a chair to take a break. She went trough her phone status and was meet with 10 unread messages. She immediately checked them only to find the "Trauma gang" group chat being flooded with messages from Garroth asking if everyone were done packing.

"You know I understand you're attracted to that guys look. But his personality and massive amount of dumbness is a big old no for me"

Kim rolled her eyes at what ghost had just said. "I don't like him.." Kim twirled a piece of her hair with her pointy finger.

"I hope so! I don't need your personal life getting in the way of me and my Zane!"

Kim made a fake gagging noise. "Zane isn't yours, he's his own person and can love whoever he wants and so can I!" Kim didn't realize she was technically shouting at herself and if she was in public she would probably look crazy. Her embarrassment of herself was interrupted by a soft voice from the kitchen door.

"You ready to go Kim?" Lucindas orange hair has been pulled into a ponytail. She's wearing a blue bikini top with matchning bikini shorts. Kim almost feels a little embarrassed since she's wearing a simple swimsuit with green spots. "Girl, I know that look and stop you look great" lucinda starts waving her hands towards Kim who's face goes red in embarrassment.

Zane struggles as he pushes the pink suitcase out onto the street not imagining the pink meifwa to be so heavy. "Eh baby brother, I know I promised not to be so possessive but. Why???" Garroth grimaced at the pink suitcase. "Ehhh- It's private family business." Garroth just raised an eyebrow "But I'm your family!" Garroth whined towards Zane who pushed the suitcase into the van the group hired.

"Yes but private with our parents. Don't even bother bothering them." Zane crossed his arms trying to hide his hands which are shaking in fear of his brother checking the pink suitcase. The blonde man decided not to push his brother on the matter and threw his bags in the van. "Lets go pick up Lucinda and Kim." He announced heading for the front of the car.

It was a fast drive down to the house which belonged to Kim. The two girls were already waiting for the two brothers outside with their suitcases in hand. To not bring out any suspicion to the girls Zane personally decided to pack in the suitcase which belonged to the girls.

The ride was surprisingly quiet. Everyone glued to their own activities. Garroth was as if stitched to the road, Kim had her face mushes Into the window already our cold, Lucinda just stared coldly forward and Zane scrolled trough his phone creating a playlist for the plane ride even tho he plans on sleeping the whole ride there.

"Do you guys really think we should be there?" Lucinda suddenly spoke. Zane snapped his head backwards to her."What do you mean?" Garroth asked his eyes still stitched onto the road."I mean this is supposed to be a reunion for Aph and Aaron, why are we there?" Her tone just as emotionless as it was before.

"We're there to support them, remind them their not alone in this. Help them." Zane was leaning so he and Lucinda were making eye contact, "I wonder, Lucinda why are you of all of us worried about this?" Garroth had a small hint of worry in his voice.

"I- If Aph sees my you know, scars... She'll get distracted worried, find a way to blame herself. So will Aaron. I just.""Lucinda stop" Zane suddenly interrupted the ginger who fluttered her eyes in pure confusion."Those scars should never be something you feel ashamed of having. And if I'm being honest you should tell Aph about it yourself. It will spare both you and her the worry." The blue crystal eyed boy sounded almost mad at the woman for the way she was speaking.

She just sighed, "Same for you, tell her about the eating thing..." Zane perked his eyes up in shock before sighing. "If it makes you fell any better about having to do it. I guess I'll do it." His sentence ended with a short sigh and he melted into his seat again. Gluing his eyes into his phone again. The car fell silent again.

And it stayed silent the entire two hour ride. Not a single word was spoken between the four members except small questions like how far away they were from point B.

"We're here now!" Garroths joyful voice pierced trough the silent suddenly and everyone perked trough their windows well except for Kim who's face was still mushed against the window a slight string of saliva perking at her mouth.

Garroth took it upon herself to wake her while Zane and Lucinda got out to get the luggage. And the blonde and brunette got out helping the other two carry the luggage into the airport but the bags were quickly taken away by men in black suits they guessed were from Lycan industry.

"Ah, finally you guys made it." A female voice came from behind and the four quickly turned around. "OH! Mr and Mrs Lycan!" Garroth awkwardly examined the two. It was weird seeing them in such normal clothing the casual black and blue shirts and jeans almost didn't look right on them. "Are you guys ready to go?" Derek crossed his arms raising an eyebrow and the group found it hard telling what mood he really was in.

"Yes we are!" Kim awkwardly answered a clear shake in her voice. The group followed behind the two older adults. When they existed a metal door the group all gasped in pure awe at the small airplane.

"This will take us to starlight." Derek's voice caught everyone's attention. And they once again gasped when they saw the two adults once again they had eArS and tails! Garroth and Zane barely recognized the two family friends. "Then let's get on!" Kim still had that shake of awkwardness but she seemed more confident.

Zane, Garroth, Lucinda and Kim all climbed the stairs into the smaller version of an airplane. The journey for starlight wonderland began. A vacation no one will ever forget.

Well everyone, this is sadly the end for the book 'Their year' this book has been one of my best project and I'm proud of how much I've grown with this book in both grammar and patient.

I gave up on the original version of this book but I'm so happy I decided to creat a new one.

And I'm so grateful you guys have followed me in this journey.

(If you guys want I could make a sequel, but you guys have to come with an idea of what it'll be about."
