"If you can't even protect a plushie, how will you protect Naomi, huh?"

Across town, Megumi Fushiguro walked through the crowded streets, his dark uniform blending in with the shadows. His sharp eyes scanned his surroundings, tracking the cursed object's energy.

"A special-grade object... if left unchecked, it'll attract curses," he muttered.

Finding his way to Sugisawa High, he spotted Yuji immediately.

"Hey," Megumi called out, stopping the taller boy. "You have something dangerous. Hand it over."

Yuji blinked. "Excuse me?"

"The cursed object," Megumi clarified. "It's deadly. If it's unsealed, it'll attract creatures beyond your comprehension."

Yuji shrugged. "I don't have it. My friends do."

Megumi's expression hardened. "Then they're in danger."

And then, as if on cue, a deafening scream echoed from inside the school.

Yuji and Megumi turned in unison.

"Damn it!" Megumi cursed before dashing inside.

Yuji followed, and his world changed forever.

Inside, the air was thick with malicious energy. Sasaki and Iguchi were backed into a corner, their eyes wide with horror as a grotesque, deformed curse loomed over them.

Megumi moved instantly. "Stay back." With a single motion, white-furred wolves—his Divine Dogs—materialized from the shadows and lunged at the curse.

Yuji, watching in shock, clenched his fists. "I won't just stand here!" He grabbed a stray javelin from the sports room and hurled it with all his strength, skewering the curse in the shoulder.

But it wasn't enough.

More curses began to crawl from the darkness.

"Damn it, they're drawn to the finger!" Megumi growled.

Yuji's gaze flickered to his injured friends. "If I eat it, will I get stronger?"

Megumi's eyes widened. "Wait, don't—!"

But it was too late.

With a single gulp, Yuji Itadori swallowed Ryomen Sukuna's finger.

For a second, nothing happened.

Then his body twisted with immense cursed energy, and an eerie, mocking laugh erupted from his throat.

Ryomen Sukuna had returned.

Megumi didn't hesitate.

"You idiot!" He lunged at Yuji, summoning Nue, his lightning-winged shikigami. The curse energy surrounding Yuji spiked.

But then, suddenly, Yuji regained control.

"Huh?" He blinked, flexing his fingers. "I feel fine."

Sukuna's voice sneered in his mind. "You'll regret that, brat."

Megumi frowned. "How... are you still yourself?"

Before they could process anything, a new presence filled the air.

Satoru Gojo had arrived.

Dressed in his signature blindfold, the sorcerer smiled.

"Megumi did u find it?"

"Excuse me, but i swallowed it."

"For real?"

"For real" Megumi said knowing how dangerous the situation he is now.

"Well, well, you swallowed Sukuna, huh? Let's see what you're made of, kid."

"Well come after 10 seconds, don't worry I'm the strongest."

As Sukuna's sinister grin stretched across his face, Gojo stood before him, relaxed yet buzzing with anticipation. His vibrant blue eyes gleamed behind his blindfold.

"Alright, King of Curses! Let's make this fun!" he declared.

With a burst of speed, the battle ignited—Sukuna lunged, Gojo dodged, the air crackling with cursed energy. The sheer force of their clash sent shockwaves through the surroundings, shattering debris around them.

In the midst of the battle, Gojo turned to Megumi, who was watching intently from the sidelines.

"Megumi! Catch!"

Without thinking, Megumi extended his hands to catch—a Kageyama plushie.

He blinked. What?

"That's your mission," Gojo smirked, dodging another strike from Sukuna. "Guard it with your life, or Naomi won't let you step inside the house again."

Megumi's grip on the plushie tightened. It was so typical of Gojo to bring up something ridiculous even in the middle of battle.

"You're seriously doing this now?" Megumi muttered, exasperated.

"Oh, come on, Megumi," Gojo teased, "Think of it as training! If you can't even protect a plushie, how will you protect Naomi, huh?"

Sukuna scoffed, watching the exchange with mild amusement.

"You're really playing around, huh, Gojo?" the King of Curses sneered.

Gojo only grinned. "What can I say? I'm the strongest. I multitask."

Megumi sighed, tucking the plushie under his arm as he refocused on the fight.

But deep down, he knew—this was Gojo's way of reminding him.

Naomi missed him.

After 10 seconds Yuji came back to his senses. Deciding that it is best taking him to Jujutsu high, Yuji becomes unconscious after Gojo flicks him in his forehead.

"Well you know the drill...He's gonna be executed" Gojo says holding Yuji from falling.

"Well please do something about it. I don't want him to die."

"Personal feelings?" Gojo questions him with a smirk on his face."

" Yes it is. Please do something." Megumi stands up holding her kageyama plushie close to his heart.

"Of course, I'll try to do something. After all it's a request from my cute and precious student." Gojo says carrying Yuji in his shoulders. They call Igichi san who arrives on time with his car.

Placing him in the car they all hop into the car. As the car drives through Tokyo ,Gojo sees Megumi still holding on to the  plushie.

"You really should talk to her you know?"

Megumi doesn't talk anything. "Atleast text her..?"

Megumi finally looks up, "Does she know I'm in Tokyo?"

"Yes."

" In Jujutsu high?"

"NO"

Megumi gives an understanding nod. He knows that Naomi is already burdened by her clan's expectations and always thinks she is a mistake. Knowing that her childhood friend who was just as ordinary as her -atleast that's what she thinks, wouldn't bear the fact he is in Jujutsu high with cursed energy meanwhile her still in high school living like an ordinary student despite being from Gojo clan and moreover Gojo's sister. That would just shatter her. Then she would think that she is even more worthless.

"What did you say her then?'

Gojo takes a deep breath before replying, "I told that you went to high school in Tokyo because your sister shifted there."

Megumi looks out of the window, smiling to himself. Proud of how Gojo sensei handled things for he knows that seeing his sister sad and depressed is the last thing he would ever want.

"She misses you."

Megumi is broken out of his trance.

"Not a day goes by without her saying your name."

Megumi listens, but immediately goes into a  trance again.

It was a quiet evening at the Gojo estate. The grand halls, usually buzzing with energy whenever Gojo was around, were still for once. Megumi Fushiguro, just six years old, stood behind Satoru Gojo, eyeing the unfamiliar place with his usual blank stare.

"Alright, Megumi, Tsumiki, be nice," Satoru grinned, his hand resting lazily on Megumi's head before ruffling his hair. "You're about to meet the most precious little bean in the world."

Megumi huffed, shoving his hand away. "I doubt that."

Tsumiki, standing beside him, smiled kindly. "I'm sure she's really cute!"

Satoru snickered and led them through the hallway until they reached a smaller sliding door, distinct from the rest. Unlike the traditional and pristine walls of the estate, this one had tiny handprints, messy scribbles, and stickers half-peeled off.

"Naomi-chan's room," Satoru hummed, tapping the door before sliding it open.

Inside was a warm, cozy space. Unlike the grand halls of the estate, this room felt lived-in. Plush toys were scattered on the futon, and the walls had messy crayon doodles (most of which were failed attempts at drawing her big brother). A small table in the corner had picture books stacked clumsily, and a little cup filled with colored pencils stood beside them.

And in the middle of the mess, a tiny white-haired girl sat curled up in a blanket, clutching the sleeve of a large blue hoodie—Gojo's hoodie.

Her bright blue eyes, identical to Satoru's, widened at the sight of the strangers in her room.

Satoru barely had time to speak before she scrambled to her feet, her tiny bare feet pattering against the floor as she ran straight into him.

"Satoru!" she squeaked, throwing her arms around his leg. "You left me too long!"

Satoru chuckled, effortlessly scooping her up. "I was gone for an hour, kid."

"Too long!" she pouted, burying her face in his shoulder.

Megumi stared.

He wasn't sure what he expected, but he certainly didn't think Gojo's sister would be... this clingy.

"Oi, Naomi," Gojo gently pried her away from his shoulder, turning her so she could see the two kids standing behind him. "Look, I brought some new friends for you!"

Naomi blinked, her gaze landing on Tsumiki first.

Tsumiki offered a bright smile. "Hi, Naomi-chan! It's nice to meet you!"

Naomi paused before mumbling, "Nice to meet you..." in a tiny voice.

Then, her eyes moved to Megumi.

A brief moment of silence stretched between them as they simply stared at each other.

Naomi, still latched onto Satoru, tilted her head.

Megumi raised an eyebrow.

Then, without warning, Naomi wiggled out of Gojo's arms, trotted over to Megumi, and stared at him up close.

Megumi stiffened, feeling strangely cornered by a child no taller than his chest.

Then, Naomi reached out... and poked his cheek.

"You're grumpy," she declared.

Satoru burst out laughing.

Megumi scowled, smacking her tiny hand away. "Tch. And you're annoying."

Naomi gasped dramatically, immediately running back to Satoru and burying her face in his leg. "He's scary, Satoru!"

"Yeah, yeah, I told you," Satoru snickered, patting her head. "Megumi's a little sour, but he's not so bad once you get used to him."

Naomi peeked at Megumi again, still hiding behind her brother.

Then, after a moment of hesitation, she stretched her arms out toward Satoru.

"Carry."

Satoru, clearly used to her demands, lifted her effortlessly onto his hip.

"Hmph," Naomi pouted, clutching onto his shirt. "I don't like him."

"Same," Megumi deadpanned.

Tsumiki sighed, but her smile remained amused.

Satoru grinned, holding Naomi close as he poked Megumi's forehead. "Aww, don't be like that! You guys will be best friends before you know it!"

Naomi huffed, turning her face away with a small pout.

Megumi, despite himself, stole another glance at her.

She was weird.

But somehow, he had a feeling that weirdness would become a normal part of his life from now on.

And it did.
