Kamea's pov

"Thank you for your help Agent Taylor," said Sergeant Even

"It was my pleasure." I smiled stepping off the jet, I grabbed my bags.

"Do you need a ride?" asked private Will

"No, I'll call a cab." I smiled

"Nonsense I'll give you a ride," he said taking my bags

"Thanks," I said. I've learned it best not to argue with seals

We pull up to my home, if you could call it a home I'm only here in the summer

"Thanks, Private Will," I say stepping out

"Please call me Jim."

"Okay, Jim." I grab my bags and walk inside "I'm home!" I called

No answer, they must be out. I set my bags down near the couch and headed to the kitchen. I saw a gift on the counter but my attention was pulled to the droplets of blood on the floor. I pulled out my gun and followed the blood trail. Walking through the hall that leads to my mom's room, I open the door to see them lying in a pool of blood. I walk down the hall to my sister's room... a gunshot to the chest. I put my gun away and seal the tears from coming before I grab my phone and call. End pov

"What we got?" asked Steve hopping out of Danny's car

"3 victims 2 adults one female and one male and their 16-year-old daughter," said Kono

"What did you find Max?" asked Danny

"COD these two were strangled but the kid was shot double tap to the chest," answered Max

"Any witnesses?" asked Steve

"No, but they were found by their daughter." said Kono, "she just got home."

"Okay, we should speak with her," said Steve

Kono leads them outside to where a girl sits on a porch swing, they can't help but notice that she looks exactly like the dead girl.

"Their twins," said Kono noticing the look on their faces

"Hey Kamea I'm Kono and this is Danny and Steve can we ask you a few questions?"

She nodes

"Kamea that's a very pretty name." smiled Steve

"Thanks," she said barely above a whisper

"Kamea, you were the one who found the bodies?" asked Danny

"Yeah, I got home set my bags down, and walked into the kitchen, that's when I saw the blood on the floor. I followed the trail to my godparent's room..." She takes a long pause

Steve took this minute to ask "Your godparents?"

"Yes Mom died when I was three," she answered

"Is there any family you can stay with?" asked Danny

"Nope, mom was an only child same with my godparents."

"What about a grandparent?" asked Kono

"Nope."

"Your father?" asked Danny

"Nope, he didn't want anything to do with us..or should I say me," she answered a tear slipping from her eye

"But he's alive?" asked Steve

"Maybe?"

"Okay, you're not a suspect but I have to ask. Where were you coming from?" asked Danny

"The airport, I go to a boarding school."

"How old are you?" asked Steve

"15," replied Kono

"For another...." she looked at her Fitbit "4 hours and 8 minutes," she said with a frown

"Wait, it's your birthday?" asked Danny She nodded "Hap.." she cuts him off

"Please don't finish that sentence it is not a good birthday," she said still not meeting their eyes

"Okay Kono's gonna take you to are office," said Steve

"Wait." she said now looking up "There's a gift on the counter could I get it? It's the last thing my family will ever give me...if it's not evidence?" she asked

"I'll see what I can do," said Danny walking into the house

"Kamea, did your parents have any enemies?" asked Steve

"My dad's a lawyer and my mom has a restaurant chain," she answers

"Okay." Danny comes back with a little box

"Here. "he smiled

"Thanks," she responds

"Okay, come with me." smiled Kono, leading her to her car."

Steve's pov

"Have Chin try locating the father."

"Why, you heard her?" asked Danny

"Because he's the relative and at the very least to punch him in the face," I grunt

"Wow, imagine finding someone with the same face as you shot in your house." said a cop coming out of the house

"Come on Danny let's speak to his boss," I say hopping in the driver's seat

At the law firm

"How can I help you? "asked the lady at the front desk

"Yes, did Dan Green work here?" asked Danny

"Yes, he's a partner. " said the lady, "but he is not here today. He took off the day to celebrate his kid's birthday."

"He's died."

"What?" asked the lady

"Don't mind my partner he does not have manners" said Danny

"Manners? He's dead?" i repeated

"Can we speak with who's ever in charge," said Danny end POV

Kono enters the places

"This is five-0 you can chill here for now, want a water?" asked Kono

"Sure," she answered sitting down

"Okay," Kono said leaving as soon as she was gone

Kamea made a phone call

"Kamea? You're supposed to be off?" asked Quinn

"Yeah, can you do me a favor?" she asked

"Yeah, what?"

"Did anyone we put away get out recently?" asked Kamea

"No, why what happened?" asked Quinn

"My parents were murdered and I need to know if it wasn't my fault," she said holding back tears

"Oh I'm so sorry, I'll let you know if anything comes up. Was Lila home?" asked Quinn

Kamea saw Kono coming "Sorry. gota let you go." she said hanging up quickly right as Kono opened the door she got a call

Kono's pov

"Hey Kono I'm gonna send you over Dan's case and see if you find anything," said Steve

"Got it."

"How is Kamea doing?" asked Danny

"She's quiet but strong, there's no father listed on her birth certificate."

"Okay see if you can find any relatives," said Steve before hanging up

"Any information?" she asked

"None." end pov

The next day

"That means the hit isn't complete, Kamea is alive," said Chin

Just as Kamea walks in

"Wait, it wants me dead?" asked Kamea

"Don't worry we will keep you safe," smiled Kono giving her a hug

"Yes."

Kamea's pov

After I learned some hitmen wanted me dead, I asked if I could go to the house.

"Why do you want to go there?" asked Steve

"Dixie."

"Dixie?" they asked

"My sister's dog."

"Dog? There was a dog there?" asked Danny

"Yeah," I say before running out

"Wait! " I heard them yell but I was gone end pov

"She can't get far," said Danny as they followed her out

"Wait, she's in my truck!" yelled Steve patting his pants "She stole my keys," he yelled the rest laughed

"Hey. we know where she's going," said Danny

They pull up to the house

"I can't..." Steve stops talking as he walks in to see her washing the blood of a white dog.

"I know, I know I miss them too," she said sadness lacing her voice

The dog whines

"I'm sorry she's gone there gone." she cried now hugging the soaked dog. Steve comes in and hugs her. Danny watches

"Sorry." was all she said

"It's okay." he said "She handed him his keys.

"Wet dog," said Chin as they entered

"This is Dixie." smiled Kamea

"Is she yours?" asked Kono kneeling to pet the dog

"Um she was my sister's," she said the smile falling from her face

"So Kamea you're going to be staying with Kono for a little bit," said Steve

Kamea's pov

"You can stay in my guest room." smiled Kono

"Thanks, thanks for letting Dixie stay with us."

"No problem, are you hungry?" asked Kono

"Yeah."

"What are you in the mood for?" asked Kono

"Whatever."

"Okay I'll be back," she said leaving

Once she was gone I called my contacts

"Any info?" I asked

"Not much, the case is being handled by five-0 there, not the most sharing group." answered Quinn "How are you doing?"

"I'm holding on, Dixie is alive and I'm staying with Kono, an officer from five-0."

"Is she nice?" asked Quinn

"Yeah, they're all pretty chill though, there's a lot of arguing, I should let you go it's late for you."

"Okay I'm here if you want to talk," said Quinn before hanging up

They're gone. I look at the gift I haven't had the strength to open. I started unwrapping the box and there was a note inside.

Happy birthday to the other half of me

It's a silver locket just like the one I got her last year. Except hers was gold under it it said we think alike lol. I couldn't help but break out in tears. I've kept it in the best I could but the gate were open. End pov

"Did you find out who wanted them dead?" asked Kamea

"No, the compter's giving the lab techs fits, but will get them," said Steve holding a computer

"Here, let me try, "she said grabbing the computer Steve looks at Danny

"She's a lot like you," answered Danny

About 30 minutes later

They heard her gasp "What did you find out? Who?" asked Chin

"Yeah, Jake wen."

"The firm partner? " asked Danny

"Yeah he used a shell corporation to hire and pay for the hitman, also the last 3 people to hire him."

"How'd you do that?" asked Steve

"I have an IQ of 194. This was child's play, Jake will be at his son's soccer game right now.
