Chapter 3

*Ryuua's POV*

When me and Yuki arrived outside the classroom I took a deep breath before entering.

"And you guys are? I'm Iruka by the way" Iruka asked as we entered.

As soon as we walked in the whole class went quiet and looked our way. Me being the socially awkward person I am, immediately went red and Hid behind my bangs. Yuki however was perky as always.

"My names Yuki Hatashi and this is Ryuua Seki. We were told by the hokage that we are in this class!" She chimed locking her hands together behind her back and swinging in her heel.

Iruka rubbed his temples and muttered something about more annoying kids to teach and how he doesn't get paid enough for it, "Okay then, well there are two seats for you. Uh Ryuua you can sit next to shikamaru and Takeshi." I nodded. I knew one of those names but I don't know who they are.

I made my way over to the seat and sat down next to the two boys.

"Yuki, there's a seat next to Kiba and Ruka" Iruka motioned to he front.

Yuki grinned and skipped over to the two boys at the front.

I was sat at the back with my head down and hiding behind my bangs and Yuki was at the front beaming and having a conversation with the boy named Kiba.

"What a drag, I'm going to sleep" Shikamaru muttered and put his head on the desk.

"Lazy, weakling!" Takeshi grumbled sitting back in his chair.

Great, I'm stuck in between two people who don't like each other! I thought to myself as I sighed and continued to listen to Iruka Sensei.

I began to tune out after he started to explain to a hyper Blond what the difference between a katana and a knife is.

How did he not already know that?! I am in for a long time here.

With that I rested my head in my hands and sighed.

"Frown any more and your face will stay like that" The boy to my left with red hair said with a smirk.

His name was Takeshi I believe and he was obviously cocky, I could tell by the way he acted like he owned the place.

"I see you frowned too much then" I remarked smirking back at him.

His eyes snapped to me and he glared at me "Hn, newbie must have an attitude then" he muttered mainly to himself but I heard it.

"Troublesome.. Be quiet im trying to sleep" The boy to my right grumbled as he turned his head to us.

I cocked my head to the side. I recognise him, but where from. He had hair in a pineapple shape and seemed pretty lazy like me.

"What?" He asked raising an eyebrow. I then realised that I was staring at him.

"UH! I - uh - S-sorry!" I squeaked turning my head away and glaring down at the table. I felt the heat rush to my face and heard Takeshi snigger from the side of me but I was too embarrassed to retort to him.

I'm an idiot! Baka Ryuua Baka! I cursed to myself while slapping my hands to my cheeks to snap out of it.

Yuki must have heard, with her great hearing and cat ears now, as she turned around and smiled winking. I rolled my eyes and began to focus back to the front.

*Yuki's POV*

I could hear Ryuua slap her cheeks. She did that when she was embarrassed. I turned around and winked at her. She just rolled her eyes, her usual response.

"So your part of the Hatashi clan?" Kiba asked. We had started to speak when I sat down because he was intrigued by my ears and tail.

"Yep! I don't know much about my clan though" I frowned and Kiba cocked and eyebrow.

"Well I know a little about the clan" he scratched the back of his head and gave me a Wolfy grin. My eyes lit up and I nodded for him to go on.

"Well most of the clan had either a tail or ears. Not many had both like you do. The main branch resided in the hidden rain village but they also occupied the hidden grass village and the the sand village, Suna. Something happened and after that only a few of the clan were left. Now, though, there are none left that are known if, well except you" Kiba explained and I then took a minute to process the information.

I'm the last one? What happened that caused my clan to wiped out!?

"Earth to Yuki?" The boy on my left snapped his fingers in front of my face.

"Huh?" I blinked back to reality and tilted my head at the boy with really dark green hair. His name was Ruka if I remember.

"I asked if you actually know anything about your clan" he sighed but smirked all the same.

"Oh, well, actually no. I lost my memory of everything" I looked down and frowned at the table.

"Hmm? Well you'll have to ask around." He suggested and I nodded enthusiastically.

I wanted to know more about my clan. Ill tell Ryuua what I've learned and then we can go ask about her clan. I thought as the bell rang, signalling that class was over.

I headed to Ryuua who was asleep on the desk and the boy Shikamaru was poking her trying to get his books that she was laid on.

I sighed and made my way over " she does this a lot." I told him before smacking her right on he back of the head.

Now. If I had learned one thing from being fiends with Ryuua, was never wake her up, E.V.E.R.

Yeah...

I'm screwed.

She raised her head slowly glaring at me with her red eyes. This was enough to scare even the strongest people.

"N-now Ry-Ryuua lets t-talk about this. He just wanted H-his b-books" I stuttered holding my hands up in defence and backing away.

"Once im done with you, you won't be able to talk! YUKI!" She then bolted from her seat at lightning speed and I screamed while running down the hallways as fast as I could.

I wasn't scared of many things, but a mad Ryuua was definitely an exception!

"GET YOUR TAIL BACK HERE!" I heard her yell from a few feet away.

I legged it through the streets squealing as I could hear her only a few feet away.

When i got to a clearing I stopped a dead breathing heavily."I- think- I- lost- her" i panted.

I then felt air whip past me and the next minute I was pinned to the floor by a pissed off Ryuua. She was emitting a visible dark aura.

"Never. Wake. Me. Up. If. You. Want. To. Live!" She growled but before she could do anything else I heard mumbling form behind us.

When we looked we saw a huge group of girls.

"Oi! Cat freak, red head! Have you seen sasuke?" A pinkette called with her hands on her hips.

Ryuua scoffed and I rolled my eyes. We stood up from our position. For some reason I remembered that dumbass duck butt and I don't know why.

"What would we be doing with that duck ass!?" Ryuua smirked waving her hand dismissively.

The girls fumed but then turned to me.

"What about you cat freak!?" The blondie asked.

"Cute nickname. But again, I don't know where that little duckbutt is" and with that they fumed once more before turning and running away.

"Why would we know where that duck ass is? Dumbasses" Me and Ryuua giggled.

"Thanks for the nickname but I prefer sasuke to be fair" a low voice emerged from the trees.

"Duckass" I greeted smiling falsely.

"Cat" he replied while jumping to the ground.

"Whatever! Anyway if you don't mind we better be going, hanging around with duck asses could be contagious. Don't want a haircut like that now do we!?" Ryuua smirked as we linked arms and walked away. I could practically feel him glaring at us so I stopped and turned around to face him before grinning.

"What are you planning?" Ryuua asked pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Ahem.... SASUKE IS IN THE TRAINING GROUNDS" I yelled at the top of my lungs before looking at sasuke pale and his face drop.

"3...2...1" Ryuua counted as then a whole swarm of fan girls came barrelling towards sasuke.

"Release the fangirls" I laughed and then me and Ryuua walked away nearly crying of laughter.

We high fived and then walked to the hokages office as he had said we should meet him to discuss ninja training.

Oooo that chapter was long!
