Chapter 1 OFFICIAL STORY BEGINING

*Ryuua's POV*

It was probably around 7 in the morning and my alarm had just gone off. The birds were supposedly 'signing' but to me it was just more noise that was stopping me from sleeping.

I wasn't a morning person. In fact I hated mornings!

I had two sides to me; one being the fact I would binge watch anime or Tv shows till the sun came up. Or two, falling asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. There was seriously no in between.

I groaned and flailed my arms around searching blindly for my alarm clock so I could shut it up.

I eventually  pressed the snooze button hoping I would get extra sleep. Then my phone went off causing me to groan even more.

It was a text from Yuki."Get your lazy ass up and hurry to get ready!

I'll be at your house in 20 mins and I swear to the God of llamas if you aren't ready Ryuua Seki, I will kick your ass into next week!

''Bi polar little fudge ball" I grumbled under my breath and pulled myself out of bed.

I put on my skirt and blouse then pulled up my thigh high black socks and slipped on my school blazer. I zipped the thin black ribbon through my collar of my blouse and tied it in a bow.

After straightening my long brown hair and brushing my bangs, the doorbell rang right on cue. When I didn't answer it straight away I heard it being kicked down by my hyper active friend.

I sighed as she charged up the stairs and into my room with her baseball bat in hand.

"Ah, well it's lovely to see you too! Fucking hyperactive flamingo" I said muttering the last part under my breath. All she did was grin in return while flipping her candy floss pink hair over her shoulder. The strands fell neatly on her back and reached elbow length.

"Well at least I won't have to use my bat this time! Anyway let's go forward with our quest of knowledge!" She chimed as she marched out of the room.

I pinched the bridge of my nose and shook my head.

I am not even going to begin to explain what she meant but using the bat 'again'.Long story short, it's one of the reasons I'm not a morning person!

*Yuki's POV*

For once my lazy little llama buddy was awake when I arrived. Most days I would have to pour cold water on her head and if things get real drastic I would use my baseball bat.

Yeah, thats another story for another day!

I was in the middle of belting the lyrics to 'American Idiot' By Green Day at the top of my lungs when I got a smack round the head from a pissed of and clearly embarrassed Ryuua.

"Owwwieee! Ru Ru that hurt!" I whimpered at her as she rubbed her temples.

"Well shut your mouth then!" She hissed.

I rolled my eyes and was quiet for a little while.However I had other ideas.

"DONT WANNA BE AN AMERICAN IDIOT!" I screamed at the top of my lungs and then fell into fits of giggles.

"I thought you were done!" Ryuua groaned while waving her hand dismissively at the passers by who were staring at me and giving me weird looks.

"You loveeee meeee!" I sang happily and she rolled her eyes in response.

As we were crossing the road I decided to embarrass her more by naruto running across with my arms flowing wildly out behind me.

The rest of the walk there just consisted of me embarrassing Ryuua and skipping along to the beat of the smurfs song.

Once we arrived at school we both proceeded to our classes. I had gym and Ryuua had English.

I changed into my gym shorts and polo shirt and pulled my pastel pink hair into a high pong tail.

"Yay! Hockey today!" I grinned while running onto the court and grabbing a hockey stick.

Mrs.Reighton our gym teacher blew the  whistle and the game began.

After school me and Ryuua headed to our favourite coffee shop and sat down at the booth nearest to the window.

"I'll get the green tea please" Ryuua told the waitress her order.

"Ummm. Oo! I'll get the hot chocolate with whipped cream thanks!" I chirped as Ryuua rolled her eyes chuckling slightly.

"Coming right up!" And with that the waitress left to get our order.

"Guess whattttt" I sang happily.

"What? And if it's something sport related, you know I'm not interested!" Ryuua said simply.

"Nuh- uh! It's about the new episode of naruto that's coming out tonight!" I squealed and clapped my hand excitedly.

Naruto had always been mine and Ryuua's favourite anime. We first bonded over our love for it. We are only on episode 12 of shippuden so we now the basis of everything. In a nutshell, sasuke is a duck butt who only likes power so he goes to a pedo snake to earn it. End of!

"Ah, well I would say you can come to mine to watch it but I'm swamped with homework." She sighed resting her chin on her hand.

"Aww! Can't you do it tomorrow!" I pleaded with puppy dog eyes. When she only raised and eyebrow I stick my bottom lip out at her and she closed her eyes and sighed, finally giving in.

"Fine but as soon as the episode is over your helping with my maths! Deal?"

"You bet!"

"Here's your order!" The waitress came back to our table with our drinks.

"Thank you" Ryuua said.

"Ooooo it looks good! Thankssss" I chirped and she smiled back and hurried off to serve other customers.

"Well let's hurry up so we don't miss the episode" I  giggled while wiping whipped cream off my nose. Ryuua smiled and nodded as we both started our drinks.

*Ryuua's POV*

I was laid out on my coach and Yuki was sat eagerly cross legged on my floor.

I was just sat with my eyes closed waiting peacefully do the show to start but with Yuki here she obviously had to ruin it.

"ITS STARTING OMG ARGH" She squealed right next to my ear.

I whacked the back of her head before opening my eyes and begging to watch the episode.

"That. Was. So. Good!" Yuki commented, emphasising each word.

"It was." I nodded in agreement before getting up and collecting my bag.

I pulled out my maths books and Yuki just slumped into the sofa.

"AWWW! I don't wanna do maths! I wish I was a ninja!" She burried her face in the pillow.

I rubbed my temples. " it was a deal wasn't it? And besides the quicker we get it don't be quicker we can get ramen" I smirked, knowing that she would agree if ramen was involved.

"Okay!" And with that we sat down and began to solve the maths problems.

After a while something strange started happening.

"Ryuua?" Yuki asked.

"Yeah, I see it too" I replied.

On the paper, where there was once numbers, they had all began to merge together and begin spiralling on the page.

This continued for around 5 minutes before I suddenly became really tired.I looked to my right to see that Yuki was already asleep on the pile of maths work.

I  fell in and out of consciousness when finally I shut my eyes and fell into sleep.
