chapter 30

Taehyung searched the park for Hoseok's phone. He looked around and found it under a bench.

The device was showered for hours and died by the flood. He took it to the service shop and repaired it.

Then he reached home and called his boyfriend on the front porch.

"Hobi "

...

"Hobiya"

....

Hoseok is watching TV in the living room ignoring the other's voice.

"Hobi didn't you hear me?"

....

Taehyung frowned at the older's strange behavior. He went to shower.

Hoseok side-eyed the younger when he moved to their room.Then continued watching the show.

Taehyung changed to PJs and sat beside Hoseok.

The older is now munching the chips while watching a movie.

Taehyung's hands reached for the chips bag but Hoseok moved it farther. He grabbed all the chips and stuffed them in his mouth finishing them at once.

"I won't take that much Hobi... I understand you are hungry"

Taehyung replied in a worried tone.

Hoseok didn't respond to the other.

Taehyung is now irritated by his behavior and hugged his side.

"Why are not talking to me?"

"You don't have to talk to a dumbass if you are that smart."He replied, his eyes focused on the TV screen.

"You are sulky because of that. So Silly"

The younger laughed and Hoseok tried to get away from him.

Taehyung held tighter snuggled into his shoulders.

"Leave me Tae"

He pushed him but the other pulled Hoseok closely with his face buried into the crook of the neck.

"I'm sorry Hobi, you are the smartest person in the world."

"Keep it with yourself."

"Too much sassiness"

"Too much clinginess"

Taehyung smiled and pecked his neck.

Hoseok gasped at that sudden action.

"You - "

Taehyung showed the repaired phone in front of them.

Hoseok snatched checking it.Everything worked fine.

"Where did you find it?"

"Somewhere in that park."

"Good job TaeTae"

He beamed his wide smile.

Taehyung looked up,

"But you are mad at me right"

"I forgive you"

"That's too fast"

They both laughed and Hoseok hugged him back resting his chin on the other's head.

"Hobi, I met Jungkook today"

Hoseok looked surprised.

"Woah but you said you're gonna meet Aecha"

"Yeah, he was there too."

"Hmm"

"And he asked me one last hug"

"Did you hug him?"

"Yeah, he apologized for all his actions and told me to talk care of you well"

"I'm glad he finally realized."

" but are you not mad at me for hugging him?"

"Why would I? He is positive about our relationship. He may want to be on good terms with you. It's not that big deal"

Taehyung pecked his lips and squished his cheeks.

"You're sooooo sweet hobi. My cutie pie. Too adorable"

Hoseok slapped his hands away.

"You are destroying my cheeks"

"But that looks so squishy"

He kissed both of his cheeks.

"Why are you so clingy today?"

"Nothing, you look irresistible"

The older sighed knowing he can't stop him.

"Leave it, why did you dash to her house?"

"I can't tolerate what she did to you. So I went to her home and slapped her"

Hoseok's jaw dropped when he heard that.

"You said me not to argue and you go around and slap people"

"No, it's different. I also informed her that I'm gonna file a restraining order"

"For what?"

"It's against her so that she won't approach you."

"Isn't it too much? She said she's going to Japan"

"So what? She can return one day and may get angry and hurt you. I can't follow you everywhere, right? It's for goodness sake "

"But it's - "

"No buts and whats. This is necessary. I can't let that happen again seeing yesterday's incident."

"Ok"

Hoseok nodded and showed thumbs up.

"That's good."

"Also she apologized to me."

"Isn't it a miracle Tae?"

"Yeah that miracle happened today "

"That's so much to process."

"Yeah it must be hard for your dumbass brain"

He blurted out and realized he messed up.

"I'm not  I'm sorry - Hob"

Hoseok pushed him to the ground and kicked his back.

"Aaah that hurts you skinny pig"He held his back grunting.

"See who's telling looking like a slow-witted bear."

"What the hell that means?"

"The same meaning as a skinny pig"

"Hobi I didn't mean it."

"I don't care, don't come to my room today."

"It's our room"

"It's my room today. Sleep anywhere this night"

He threw the pillow at his face and went to the kitchen.

Taehyung sighed and slapped himself for his loose lip.

"Hobi I don't have blankets"

"Cuddle with your pillow"He replied and closed the door of their room.

"There is only 2 pillow. You're so mean. Stupid squirrel, crazy cow, I hate you so much... "

He laid down on the couch texting to the group chat.

Taehyung placed the phone on the coffee table laughing at Jin's message.

Soon His eyes become heavy and slept after finding a comfortable position on the couch.

Then Hoseok quietly opened the door and saw Taehyung sleeping.

He gave a small smile and tugged him into blankets.

"Good night stupid bear"He whispered and went to his room.

Today is the day Aecha going to Japan. She is waiting at the airport now.

She was startled by her phone buzzing. She couldn't recognise the number.

She cleared her throat and attended to the call.

"Hello"

"Hello Aecha"It's Jungkook.

"Yea - yeah"

"You're leaving today right"

"Yeah"

"Have a nice journey"

Aecha teared up suddenly when she heard Jungkook wishing him like this.

She wiped those tears.

"Thank you Jungkook."

"Yeah. I thought it would be nice if we both end this on good terms."

"Oh right... "

"Aecha, our journey is ending here as you are taking a new path to travel further. We both done mistakes and we are paying for those now. I tried my best to forgive you these days and finally, my mind is ready to do that.

Let's cut all the ties between us. I forgive you and hope you'll do that too. Our relationship was a total mess. Forget the past and try to refresh yourself with the new environment.

Good luck Aecha and I think this might be our last call..."

Aecha let out silent tears throughout the conversation.

Those words made her emotional. Her heart ached when hearing those from his lover but she is so happy now that he forgave her. She can be at peace now.

She is relieved by his response.

"Thank you so much Jungkook. This phone call means so much to me. I feel light-hearted now. And I'm not in a place to forgive you. Anyways, have a good partner and live happily Jungkook. I mean the last sentence"

Jungkook laughed slightly on the other side and Aecha's heart swell when she heard that smile. She is satisfied with this and happy to travel now.

"Ok Aecha, I wanna perform in 10 minutes. Let's move on to our destined paths."

"All the best for the performance Jungkook. You're right. This is our last call. I'm changing my number after I go there."

"I was right then, Bye bye Aecha. Have a nice day"

"Bye Jungkook"

With that, she ended the call with whole satisfaction.

"He is right. Let's move forward for a new start"

She mumbled and got up to check-in.

"A new journey begins"

Meanwhile, Jungkook ended the call with a satisfied smile.

"Finally I did it"

Then his manager called him to get on the lift.

He took his golden-colored mic and wore the earpiece.

He prayed and got on the lift.

He can hear his fan's screams and fan chants. It gave him comfort though he is nervous at that time.

His mind reminded him of these lines,

~ Remember I'll cheer you up when you sing at the concert.Close your eyes to hear my faint voice cheering for you.~

His lips made a thin smile and he is on the stage now.

The fans' screams grew wild and he welcomed his fans by waving his hands around the stage. He flashed his bunny smile and those affections always makes him forget his sadness.

He took one of his earpieces out to hear their cheers.

Then he closed his eyes and those noises turned to muffle and he heard a deep loud voice of a Uni boy cheering him up in a singing contest,

"Kookie you are the best. No one can beat you. Jungkook Jungkook ~~~"

"You are the best Tae"He thought to himself.

The background music of the first song is started and he wears his earpiece and opened his eyes.

The crowd becomes quiet as he is gonna sing.

And with those memories and a sense of relief  being carried around, he started to sing the first song,

~ Still with you ~

A song he wrote for his lovely fans and his ...
