Chapter 40

23:21, 8 September 2018

Harry and I were doing great. It was the day after his birthday bash and I was walking around school feeling more refreshed than ever. The fact that I no longer was an imaginary virgin was something refreshing to me and I knew Harry was proud he got over his phobia.

"Hey baby." Harry pressed a kiss to my head and I smiled at him. We had met in our usual lunch spot to eat junk food since anything was better than the school cafeteria food.

"How do you feel?" He asked me. We didn't get sleep last night, his birthday, since we had stayed up the entire night having sex. Kid you not that we had to take a cup of coffee each in order to have the energy to drive home and celebrate with our families who threw a surprise birthday party.

"I feel really great. Sore, but I asked for it." I hummed, pressing a kiss to his lips. "See, I told you that it was too rough." "You felt it. It wasn't. You would've gotten a feeling in here if it was too rough." I pointed to his heart and he laughed, throwing my body to his lap so he could press a soft kiss to my lips.

"I love you." The three words that came out his mouth made my heart beat faster. Every time he did so I would melt into a puddle and it was like the first time every single time he said it. I loved hearing him say it.

"I love you too." I hummed pressing another soft kiss to his lips.

"Hey I was thinking. Hear me out okay?" I said, repositioning myself so I was sitting criss cross applesauce facing him between his extended legs.

"Mhm." He cocked an eyebrow, offering me a tilted expression. Last time we had a conversation like this I talked him into going away so I could convince him into having sex. This was a different kind of offer.

"It'll be our one month in a couple days and I was sort of kinda wondering if maybe this summer when we celebrate our 3-6 months we could do something super duper big like kidnap a baby. Or maybe you would be interested in going to my nana's ranch with me? It's an annual trip we make and I really want you and your family to come with us. She has horses and baby chickens and animals. Baby she has animals." I tilted my head down to give him my best puppy dog eyes as he smirked, his thumbs tracing patterns into my waist.

"No catch this time? You're not going to lead me out of town to take advantage of me again, are you?"

"I did not take advantage. We were consenting adults. You were, I wasn't. I'm a child." I huffed and he laughed, pressing a kiss to my lips.

"I'll go. I'll convince my family and about the baby, we have Emma and Jackson. We'll hold off on kids for now. Or at least till next year." Choose your words wisely, Styles, there will come a day you wish you had a piece of me next year.

"Okay but for that I want twins." I narrowed my eyes at him and he laughed at me.

"If it happens it happens."

"If it doesn't I'll cry. Do you take pride in making your girlfriend cry?"

"No, I take pride in watching her whine like a child and can fuck her senseless now that we're having sex." I widened my eyes at his word choice as he pressed his lips together.

"Actually that was a one time thing. Sorry not sorry. I only have sex with that super hot soccer player, not a dork like you." I scoffed playfully as we both ended up in fits of laughter.

The day went on per usual until it was time to go home. I was walking out of the gym after practice to find Mr. Anderson waiting outside of his classroom for me as I passed.

"Just the person I was waiting on. I wanted to talk about your grade for the test." He smiled and I gave him a look.

"I'm so sorry Mr. Anderson but I'm running late. It's an important day for me today I have some place to be." I checked the time on my phone, seeing Josh was leaving me a text to say he was meeting me out front in 5.

"It'll only take a minute." He reasoned, gripping my test in his hands, presumably. "Can we do this another time? Joshua is waiting outside for me and if I don't go now I'll only be introuble. It was really nice of you to wait." I offered a fake smile, jogging down the hall to the doors out front.

"Hey Gracie. How was practice?" Josh asked as he stood up from lacing his shoes.

"Stressful, ready?" I asked and he nodded, telling me about his day on our way to the car. "I'm going out with Marissa today, it's our anniversary. Well not really but she likes to celebrate when we met since we met a year ago today. Didn't start dating until this year. Anyways, I won't be home." He explained and I nodded slowly trying to grasp the stubborn concept of the fact that these two dweebs celebrate every single event that they do as a couple.

"Interesting. Do you guys also celebrate when you had your first kiss?" I asked and he pushed me slightly as we pulled into our driveway. "Don't be an asshole, it's all her. Happy girl happy world." I laughed as we made our way up the stairs.

"Harry coming around?"

"Yup, he should be here around 8ish. He had soccer practice with the guys before they go to tryouts." I explained and he nodded as we parted ways to do separate things. I worked on homework, he got ready.

Hours passed, it was currently 7 and I had yet to eat due to my stubborness regarding finishing Stats homework. I grabbed my laptop, not paying attention as I walked downstairs.

"Mom I need help." I groaned going into the kitchen to see Mr. Anderson sitting at my island with my mom making a pot of coffee.

"Oh, Hi. I um Hi?" I tilted my head, setting my laptop on the counter.

"Grace, you know your Statistics teacher Mr. Anderson. He said he's here to talk about your grades." My mom hummed, pouring a cup of coffee to the creepy old man who just looked at me.

"Yeah, hi." I chuckled awkwardly as my mom narrowed her eyes at me.

"What did you need?"

"I wanted to see if Josh was home so he could help me with Stats but I think I can wait."

"Oh, I can help you. It's no problem, I'm already here." Mr. Anderson grinned and I felt uncomfortable. "No, it's fine. I think I'm done with homework for tonight. I have to take a shower before Harry gets here anyways." I smiled politely and his face fell.

"Who is Harry?"

"Her boyfriend. She recently went to our lake house with him this past weekend to celebrate his birthday so she's a little behind on homework and stuff." My mom said and he frowned even deeper.

"She told me she was going alone." The air became awkward and the only thing that could be heard was the silent struggles of the coffee maker making my mom's cup of coffee.
