Juvia's POV

When you're in high school everything matters, the memories, the friends, the crush, and most of all the drama.

I'm Juvia Lockser, I'm a junior at Fairy Tail High.

I'm not the popular girl, but I'm a social butterfly who happens to be friends with the "IT" girl at our school, her name is Lucy Heartfilla, she's awesome.

My friends consist of Erza she's a senior along with Cana, Mira and Evergreen, and then there's Lucy, Wendy, Levy, Meredy & Ultear... those girls are my friend soulmates.

I don't really talk to guys much, but I have a crush on this one guy... he's the hottest guy in my opinion... Natsu is everything of course all the girls prefer his asshole of a friend Gray, but to me Natsu is everything I want.

I hope one day he'll notice me...

I first started having a crush on him during our freshman year when he waited with me until my parents came for me.

Natsu has been on my mind since and I hope he'll come to notice me.

*Alarm rings*

Juvia: Ughhhh who was the genius who decided that we should wake up at 7 am... I just want to sleep

I slowly rolled off my bed and walked to the restroom, my blue hair had grown longer since school ended... I was so excited!

The uniforms were plain grey as always, but the skirt complimented my body type well!

By the time I finished it was already 7:45 am and thankfully I live so close that walking isn't an issue for me... the only problem is that 3 houses down from me lives Gray Fullbuster, an egotistical asshole who thinks he's a bad boy because he has mommy issues.

Gray and I used to play when we were kids, but when his mom died of cancer, he became cold and took it out on me. So, we eventually stopped being friends and now we hate the sight of each other.

Ironically, we have the same friends, so we're cordial.

I opened the door and the air felt cooler, it felt pretty nice considering it was the first day of scho-

*crash*

Juvia: Ow!

Gray: Watch where the hell you're goi- ugrk it's you Juvia

Juvia: Great first day of school totally ruined, move out the way you asshat

Gray: Tch, stupid clutz watch where you're going

Juvia: Fuck off, stupid

Gray: Watch it Juvia

Unfortunately, many of the girls at Fairy Tail High hate me because it always looks like Gray and I walk to school together, but it's just pure bad luck

I was excited for this school year!

This year I was determined to get Natsu to notice me and it's just my luck that his best friend is Lucy is my best friend.

The only downfall is that he's on and off with Mira's younger sister Lisanna.

So I'm hoping he really starts to notice me more

Wendy: Juvia!! I missed you all summer

Wendy's slim arms wrap around my waist, giving me a sense of comfort.

Juvia: W-Wendy we saw each other almost every weekend

Wendy: Sooo? I still missed you

I met Wendy in our sophomore year, she skipped a grade, so she's younger than us in age, but her brain might even beat Levy's.

Wendy: So, you and Gray huh?

Juvia: *annoyed* Ugh.. Don't ever say that

We laughed at that thought ever actually happening, but we both know I'd rather die than to ever date Gray Fullbuster.

A couple of minutes later the rest of the girls showed up.

Lucy: This year we're going to have so much fun and date lots of boys!

Cana: Haha! Erza, Levy, Evergreen & Juvia can't do that Luce!

Meredy: *mocking* And why is that Cana-chan?

Ultear: *laughing* Because Erza is waiting for Jellal to "find himself"

Mira: *laughing* Plus Levy is secretly seeing Gajeel-kun

Lucy: OH OH and Evergreen is crushing hard on Elfman... Mira's brother

Wendy: *chuckling* AND let's not forget Juvi-chan's crush on Natsuuuu-kun

As the girls laughed at us for our silly crushes, we were bright tomato red, and it was a bit embarrassing.

Juvia: Lucy-chan don't you have a crush on Gray or is it Leo now?

Ultear and Mira slowly began chuckling

Erza: Mira, I don't know why you're laughing when you've been dating Laxus since July

We all stood there in shock... Mira and Laxus were those couples who have feelings for each other, but will never admit it, but they were super cute together.

We laughed and talked for what felt like hours until...

Natsu: LUCCYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

My knight in shining armor is here

Lucy runs to Natsu and gives him a big blow to head.

I used to think they had feelings for each other, but Lucy cleared it up for me.

Lucy: Hey Nats!

Natsu: Hey Luce! Hey Cana, Mira, Evergreen, Wendy, Ultear, Meredy and Erza! and Hey Juvia!

The excitement in his voice brings butterflies to my stomach, the only issue is that behind him are his idiot friends

Gray: Jesus fuck Natsu don't just run to your girl when you see her

Lucy: *blushing* I'm not his girl Gray-kun

Lucy likes Gray. THAT'S KIND OF CUTE

Ultear: Hey Gray-sama

Gray: Oh, uh hey Ultear

The funny thing about Gray and Ultear is that her mom works for Gray's dad Silver, but she's completely head over heels for him.

But he finds her a bit odd.

Gray: Hey Erza!

Erza: Hey ice brain!

Erza, Gray and Natsu have a sibling like relationship and it's the cutest thing ever.

Gray: Hey Meredy, Wendy, Cana, Mira, and Evergreen!

Meredy and Ultear both have a crush on Gray, but so does almost every other girl.

I think Gray likes Lucy and Lucy likes Gray.

Wendy likes this other guy she knows.

Erza is waiting for Jellal, but Jellal is always with Meredy, so it causes tension in the group sometimes, but I do think Jellal loves Erza.

And me well Natsu is my entire worl-

*Hitting noise*

Juvia: OW!

A flying basketball came at me, and I fell into someone's arms... they're strong and muscular

Gray: Woah Juves you okay?

Our eyes instantly locked and for the first time his eyes were beautiful

Lucy: Juves? Since when are you two that close mmh?

Juvia: Get off Gray! and it's not like that

Gray: *faint blush* Y-Yeah it's just an old nickname... it kind of slipped out. Honest Luce

Everyone was watching us including Natsu... but I decided that today I was going to tell him my feelings for him. I want our relationship to grow.

Juves? Seriously? Why out of all things does that nickname come out?

Stupid Juvia... she's so clumsy sometimes and it was in front of Lucy.

I mean I don't particularly have a crush on Lucy or anything, but she tends to bully me since she ships Gruvia so much.

Plus, the girl I really like will make her way to me soon enough.

The day passed in a blur, we ate lunch with the girls, and I literally have every single class with Natsu, Lyon and Gajeel.

I have 6 with Lucy and Juvia

I have 5 with Ultear, Elfman and Wendy

4 with Lisanna, Meredy and Leo

And I have 1 with Erza, Jellal, Evergreen and Mira which is gym

I'm glad to have my friends with me, but I feel like something is going to happen soon and it's a bit nerve-wrecking..

Meredy: Hey Gray!

Gray: Hey Mer! What's up?

Meredy: Have you seen Juvia?

Meredy and I don't talk much, but when we do it's pretty calm and I know she has a crush on me, but she doesn't show it excessively like Ultear. Meredy is still herself and I find that cute about her, plus we have similar tastes in stuff.

Gray: Juvia? No why?

Meredy: We were supposed to walk home together

Gray: I'll help you look

Meredy: *blushing* You really care for Juvia huh?

Gray: *faint blush* Don't fish Mer... Juvia is not a close friend, I just want to help you

Everyone is always linking Juvia with me, but it's only because we live in the same area, but I don't see Juvia like that in anyway, plus most of the girls hate her because of it.

Meredy and I walked around the entire school looking for Juvia until we found her with Natsu under the gym bleachers.

Meredy: Hey JU-

I quickly put my hand over her mouth and giving her the "sh" signal as we stood in the corner watching.

Natsu: What's up Juvia why'd you call me over here?

Juvia: *blushing* O-Oh well Na-Natsu-kun I've been meaning to tell you for a while and well I might as well say it, but I like you Natsu-kun. I've liked you for years now.

As Meredy and I watched the show in front us, Natsu's face didn't show excitement.

I could easily tell that he didn't see her that way and knowing Juvia would be sad, kind of pissed me off a bit.

Natsu: *blushing* O-Oh Juvia... that was out of nowhere. I had no idea you felt this way about me... we're not the closest so i thought you didn't like me much. But I have to reject your love confession. I don't know if Lucy encouraged you to do this or if this is some test, but I only love Lucy and we haven't been dating the entire summer for nothing.

Juvia: *sad* Y-You and Lucy have been dating all summer?

Natsu: Yeah... I mean we weren't hiding it, but we weren't announcing it like crazy either.

The pain and betrayal in Juvia's eyes was enough to make Meredy cry.

Juvia: *fake smiling* Natsu Dragneel you have passed the loyalty test! Hehe this was fun! I have to go now, but don't go telling Lucy you caught on

Natsu slowly smiled and gave Juvia a pat on the head walking away.

And in that very moment I hated both Lucy and Natsu for doing her that way when everyone knew she liked Natsu.

Meredy: Juvia...
