Jisung's stomach churned as he held on tight to the safety bar of the roller coaster. He let out a loud scream, thrilling, yet somehow terrifying at the same time. By his side, his best friend Seungmin was cackling with joy.

„Kim Seungmin I swear to the god Lee Minho that I will sacrifice you after leaving this roller coaster!!" the screaming guy held for his dear life, cursing in Korean.

When the ride finally came to a stop, Jisung got off, still feeling dizzy. Seungmin started teasing him, telling him how entertaining he looked throughout the ride. Jisung rolled his eyes, but deep down, he knew he was having a great time.

After the roller coaster, they decided to tackle some more rides. Jisung felt his fear of heights melting away as the day went by. They then stopped to indulge in some of LA's fast food, eating burgers and fries under the sun.

„That's so oily, how aren't you fat yet?" Jisung asked, mouth full of the delicious hamburgers they've ordered. „Fast metabolism?" Seungmin replied, looking at Jisung as if he was the dumbest person ever. „I don't eat much junk food. It makes me nauseous." he replied normally this time.

As they walked around the city, Jisung couldn't help but feel grateful for having Seungmin by his side. He knew he would never have had the confidence to go on these rides alone. They had been friends since they were young, and their bond had only grown stronger with time.

Jisung was having so much fun that he hadn't checked his phone all day. What he didn't know was that his favourite idol had sent him a message, asking to meet up. Jisung missed the chance to see the message and the name of the hidden email.

As the day went on, they kept exploring, going from one tourist attraction to another. By the time they returned to the hotel, Jisung felt exhausted but happy. He collapsed onto his bed, thinking of the fun he had with Seungmin.

As he rolled over and checked his phone, he realized he had a message from a hidden account. "Hi! I'm a huge fan of yours," the message read. His curiosity piqued, Jisung read on and felt acknowledged. They asked if he would like to meet up on any of the next few days. Jisung was excited and replied, "Yes, I would love to meet up with you! But I don't want to ditch the person I'm currently staying with.."

Jisung couldn't believe that he missed the notification before. He wondered who the message was from, but decided to find out later. For now, he was looking forward to meeting with the fan that sent him the message. Jisung climbed under the covers, eagerly waiting to see what the rest of the trip would bring. It may be stupid, and dangerous, but Jisung doesn't care. YOLO.

„Who are you texting with? Are you writing another delusional book?" Seungmin asked, as he walked shirtless to the room, with a towel aroundhis waist.

„Ew! Cover yourself! And no, a fan of mine wanted to meet up."

„That sounds like a really bad scenario. I don't think it's legit, the person is either lying to you, or they are some old ass creep."

„Screw off. I don't think they are fake. You can go with me," Jisung winked at the younger, making him make a disgusted face. „I'm good," he said „but if they are a huge fan of Hyunjin, call me and I'll be there to beef them out."

„And what if they will be an actual creep? Can I call you too?"

„No? Solve this problem by yourself. That's none of my business. You're a grown ass man Jisung."

As Jisung responded to the message, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. It was from someone claiming to be his long-time fan, and they wanted to meet up while they were both in LA for the fan meeting. The curiosity was killing him – he wondered who this fan was, what they looked like, and what they would have to share with him. In his polite reply, he kept his feelings low-key, hoping not to reveal too much.

Meanwhile, Minho was anxiously watching his phone, waiting for a response. When the message came through, he felt a huge wave of relief and excitement. He had taken a big risk reaching out to his favorite author, but now they were chatting like old friends.

Minho started by introducing himself, saying that he was a long-time fan and excited to be attending the same fan meeting as Jisung. He wanted to get to know Jisung better, and maybe they could hang out and talk about writing, or reading – Minho's favorite topic.

Jisung was intrigued by the message. The person seemed fun and genuinely interested in getting to know him better. They exchanged messages for hours, not even knowing what each other looked like, but feeling a strong connection. Jisung realized that he was letting his guard down, and he was letting himself enjoy the conversation.

Minho made him laugh, and it felt good to have someone to talk to who shared the same interests. They talked about their favorite books, authors, and genres.

As the conversation continued, Jisung started getting a feeling of familiarity. He wasn't sure, but he imagined the person's voice, but he didn't have clue where he had heard this person's voice before, and Minho wasn't giving away any hints about his real identity. He was on a full incognito mode. And they've shared their numbers, because email app is really busy place for Jisung.

The younger didn't want to pry too much, but the curiosity was killing him – who was this mystery fan who had managed to charm and impress him in just a few hours of chatting?

The two continued texting until late at night, deciding to meet the next day and walk around LA together. Neither of them knew that they were about to meet their biggest respective idol. Jisung was still in the dark about his long-time fan's real identity, but he was excited to find out.
