Chapter 4: Bonding

Sorry this is late guys, I'm really busy with homework and other stuff. So I might be a day late.

I decided to wake up early to make the pack some breakfast. Didn't want them feeling like I'm never doing anything. Zayn was snuggled up against me and his face was hidden in a pillow. I slowly lifted it up and nuzzled his cheek. He moved a little but didn't wake up. I smiled. I got up slowly and put on some Victoria Secret sweatpants along with a tank top.I walked downstairs and made pancakes, bacon, blueberry muffins, eggs, and coffee for everyone. 

I finished just in time for Eric and Ethan to come in sniffing the air. 

"Do I smell muffins?" Eric asks walking over to grab a muffin. 

"Blueberry .. our favorite ... How did you know?" Ethan asks biting into one. 

"Shouldn't I know?"I say looking at him confused. 

"Did you know today is Friday? Which is pack bonding day?" Eric jumps in taking a seat with a plate full of food.  

"Shit ... No one ever tells me things." I say joining him at the table. 

Ethan grabs his food and sits down at the table. 

"So what do we do?" I ask looking at them devour their food. They looked so adorable. 

"Just get to know each other and stuff ... like that" Eric says finally looking up.

"Skyler already filled us on that information though." Ethan says. 

A lady walks in with a tray of smoothies. Eric and Ethan grabs their blueberry smoothies. I take the one labeled Strawberry and Banana.  

"You guys memorize well.." I say narrowing my eyes at them. I loved strawberry banana smoothies. They both winked at the same time and continued eating their food.

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and realize Zayn was walking into the kitchen. He had on gray sweatpants along with a black sweatshirt that said "GRUMPY #1" . His hair was a little messy but he still looked hot in his pajama wear. I bit my lip. He grabbed a plate of food and walked over to me. He set the plate on the table, lifted me up, sat down in my seat, and finally put me back on his lap. It was the most adorable thing I ever experienced. He ate his food while I was on his lap.

Sooner or later everyone was at the table eating food. Skyler is staying with us now, because of Slade, so she sat on his lap. My brother Dylan was looking through the newspaper. Slater was texting on his phone. I shifted on Zayn's lap so that my butt was on his crotch area. He must have liked it because I felt something that poked me. I chuckled and he gripped my thigh.

"Who's ready for a volleyball game." My brother jumps up and grabs everyone's cell phone from 

out of their hand. "No more phones... just pack time." He says running outside. 

Everyone starts to run after him and Slade runs to get the volleyball.

"You want to go with them?" I shift so that I'm facing Zayn nudging his cheek. He looked tired but cute at the same time. 

"Yeah." He says softly and runs his hand through his hair, making it presentable. 

He carries me in his arms and walks outside.He puts on my shades and puts some on himself.   He puts me down and we hold hands while walking to the volleyball court in the back yard.We get into teams and me and Zayn were seperated. 

On my team there was Skyler, Eric, and Ethan. On Zayn's team there was Slade, Slater, and Dylan. The game started when Skyler served from the back. Zayn hit it back close to the net on our side, So I was able to spike it and score a point.

"Oh shit. Damn." Dylan laughs walking the other direction. 

"That's my girl."Zayn smirks and narrows his eyes.  

"Hey, hey, hey, We are competing here. Not making love" Dylan goes staring at me. 

I laugh and go back to my position.

We played until everybody got tired. We went back inside. 

"I'll be back, I'm going to go take a shower." I say running up the stairs. 

"We'll be in the living room." Dylan says watching after me. I nod, walk to my room, and take off my clothes. I looked at my slender body in the mirror and realized it was weird looking at myself so I turned the warm water on and stepped into the shower.I stared at the cuts on my arms and let the water fall down my face. I didn't know why I chose to do this to myself. The cuts were faded but you could still see the marks. I ran my hand  through my hair and felt hands on my waist. My wolf sensed Zayn. I smiled and turned around. He was so beautiful. His body was perfect and his eyes looked into mine innocently. 

He grabbed my arms and kissed them both. He started putting shampoo in my hair which made me laugh. He looked at me amused and I did the same to him. He was so cute.We washed our hair and kissed under the water. We decided to get out and put some fresh clothes on. He threw on black mickey mouse sweatpants since we weren't going anywhere. He put on a green sweatshirt that said "TAKEN". I threw on some minnie mouse black sweatpants and a red sweatshirt that said "LOYAL". We both laughed and headed downstairs.

"Over here you lazy asses." Eric says from the living room. 

We ran over and they were playing card games. Zayn looked at him shocked and ran to sit on him. 

"You jealous, Dez?" Eric wiggles his eyebrows at me. I rolled my eyes.

Zayn's P.O.V

I sat on Eric's lap in a non weird way. I don't really care. I looked over at Destiny who rolled her eyes at Eric. Her hair up in a high ponytail. Her hair wavy and long. She only wore eyeliner but she was beautiful with it and without it. I smirked and stayed on Eric's lap.

"You are so heavy Zayn. You are not a feather.." Eric says chuckling. 

I turn towards him and gasp like a girl. Everybody laughed. 

I got up and ran to Destiny's legs and hugged them. I was pretending to cry. She laughed and tried to shrug me off. I stood up and threw her over my shoulder. Her laugh was so adorable.

"Put me down Zayn !" She yelled trying to bite my back. 

"Are you trying to bite me??" I ask rhetorically. She giggles and I sit down planting her on my lap. Her bangs had fallen over her face and she was trying to get off of me. 

"Where are you going?" I ask her amused. 

"Trying to go away from you, monster" She replies sarcastically.

"OFF WITH HIS HEAD." Ethan yells from across the room and throws a pillow at me. 

"I thought you were on my side, You traitor!" I smirk at him and he crosses his arms. 

"Ladies first" He says one last time before throwing another pillow.

"How old are you guys? 4?" Dylan asks from the chair where he was reading a book. 

Dez jumps on him and kisses his cheek. I was a little jealous, but knew it was her brother. 

"Don't be a baby, big brother." She says in a whining tone. 

"Don't do that. I'm not 5." He snaps at her. She starts tickling him and he starts to laugh. 

He gets up and throws a pillow at Dez.

"THIS IS .. WARRR!!" I yell throwing pillows at Skyler and Slade. 

Eric and Ethan gave up falling to the floor pretending to be dead. I threw two at Skyler and she fell to the floor. I looked from the corner of my eye and saw that Dez took down Slade and Dylan. Slater was hiding behind the couch.

"I SURRENDER." He yells pretending to kill himself and fall to the floor. 

I chuckle and face Destiny. We were the only ones there. She narrowed her soft blue eyes at me. I wiggled by eyebrows trying to tease her. She walked closer and gave me a hard kiss on the lips. I couldn't resist. Plus, I wanted her to win so she wouldn't think I was being to hard so I fell to the floor dead.

"Oh BULLSHIT Zayn. You could have won." Dylan says jumping up practically falling over. 

Everyone started laughing and sitting back in their spots.

"He can't resist his sugar candy." Ethan says smirking at Dez and wiggling his eyebrows. Damn those two twins. 

"Who wants smores?" Skyler asks getting up. We all say yes and Dylan pulls out a book to read us all. It was To Kill A Mockingbird so it was pretty interesting. 

We acted like 8 year olds today, but who cares? It's our time to have fun. Skyler came back with the smores and passed them around. Dez layed on my lap and I  brushed her hair back as she ate her smore. We listened to the story and Dez was snuggled on my lap. She finished her smore but I kept eating more. An hour past before Dylan looked up and saw that everyone was asleep. He put the book away.

"I'm going to head to bed, goodnight rascal " He says before running up the stairs. 

Rascal? Ha. Dez was fast asleep and I wanted to take her to bed. I carefully shifted so she was in my arms bridal style. Her face fell into my chest and her arms dangled peacefully. 

I carefully walked up the stairs and laid her in the bed. I got in with her and pulled the covers over us. I had to admit, I was pretty tired even though it was only 11:30 PM. She opened an eye slowly and moves closer to me. I kissed her head and shushed her back to sleep. She nudged her face into my chest and went back to sleep. I continued to stroke her hair before closing my eyes and falling asleep.
