Chapter 19

Sophia's POV ~"Soph?" They asked. I couldn't believe who i saw standing outside my car. It was Ryan. I didn't know what to do but i did know i sure as hell knew i didn't want to talk to him. I buckled my seat belt and started the car."Soph wait please." He said running in front of my car. "Move or i'll hit you Ryan." I said out my window."Please, i was just seeing if you were okay. Can we just talk?" He asked. Everything felt weird, he wasn't acting like he had been. You could hear the difference in his voice and see it in his body language. There was just to much going on i couldn't right now. "I don't want to talk and i don't want to hit you please just move!" I said. "Soph i-i just want to talk to you... I'm better now. I want to talk and apologize to you, for everything...." Ryan said. I took a deep breath and pulled myself together."I don't want to talk right now. If you mean it then when i'm ready to talk you can still apologize." I said. He didn't say anything else. He walked into the store. The only thing i could think to do is scream, so i did. I decided i didn't want to go home yet. I just wanted some time to myself. I drove down to the beach and parked the car. I walked to the rocks and hopped over them. After a while the sun started to set. I hadn't realized how long i had been at the beach. I just felt so much more relaxed. It was nice to be alone and not to be bothered. The sun looked pretty as it hit the water while it set. "I thought i'd find you here." Dylan said while sitting next to me, i didn't even look at him but i smiled."Well you found me." I chuckled. I leaned my head against his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me. I scootched over onto his lap. The silence was nice. The waves crashing on the rocks, the birds chirping. "I ran into Ryan today..." I said calmly hoping he wouldn't freak out."And what happened?" He whispered in my ear."Nothing really... I was sitting in my car in the parking lot of the pharmacy almost crying and he knocked on my window so i buckled my seat belt and started the car. He jumped in front of the car. He was acting different, like his older self like not on drugs. He said he wanted to talk and to apologize. I told him if he didnt move i would hit him but i was bluffing i could never run someone over.... But i told him if he meant it that when im ready we can talk and he can apologize. Then he just left and went inside. He didnt want to argue he wanted to talk but im just ready..." I said. Dylan was rubbing my forehead with his thumb and then ran it down the side of my face."Well thats good i guess as long as he didn't hurt you in any way." Dylan said."Nope.... Not today anyway." I said.Dylan's POV ~The sun was almost fully set. The sky an orangey, pink color. "Soph ready to go?" I asked. I got no response. I looked down and she was asleep. I put my head in her neck and kissed her. She wiggled around and i smiled. "Wake up beautiful." I whispered.She stretched out her arms and then put them back around my head. She turned her head and our lips collided. She turned completely turned around and wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me."Ready to go?" I asked. She shook her head no and i laughed. "I can't carry you over the rocks Soph we'll fall." "Fine..." She huffed and stood up. We walked over to the rocks and she went first. I had walked so we took her car home. When we got back her dad was home. Sophia's POV ~"Hey Sophaloaf." My dad said as i walked in and i blushed."Dad! Dylan's here." I whined in embarrassment as Dylan walked up from behind me."Haha sorry. Hi Dylan." My dad said."Hello sir." Dylan said."Whats in the bag?" My dad asked."Umm.... Nothing, nothing. Just something for a school project." I said nervously."Thats nice, staying for dinner Dyl?" My dad asked looking at Dylan. Then Dylan looked over at me and i nodded."Yes thank you." Dylan said. My dad smiled and went in the kitchen. We went up to my room and closed and locked my door. I took a deep breath and looked at Dylan. He walked over to me and pressed his lips to mine."Remember no matter what I'm here for you." He said softly; i nodded.I went in the bathroom and opened the tests and read all the instructions. I took two just to be safe because ya never know. Each test said it would take about 5 minutes. I placed them upside down on the counter and set my phone timer. To pass the time i texted Gracie while i was waiting. The timer went off and i felt like i couldn't hear anything. It was like the whole world stopped and was moving in slow motion. I flipped the one test over and i fell to the floor. Tears started rolling down my cheeks. I guess Dylan was worried because he knocked on the door. I stood up and opened the door and ran into Dylan's arms. I smashed my lips to his."It's negative." I said against his lips. I was so relieved. "I told you everything would be fine Soph." He said. I wrapped my arms around his neck and legs around his waist. I leaned over and whispered in his ear."I love you Dylan. I know that we say it quite a lot. But i mean it, i really mean it. I don't know where i would be right now without you. Without you i don't think i'm am a strong enough person to make it on my own. Not strong enough to make it without you." I whispered in his ear."I love you too Sophia more then i think you will ever know. Don't say that you are, were, and always will be strong enough on your own if you ever had to but i will always be here for you. Always i promise you that." Dylan said. I pressed my lips to his neck and smiled. Our little moment was interrupted by my dad. "Time for dinner." He said while knocking on the door."Coming!" I said.Dylan went to put me down but i held on like my life depended on it. I didn't want to let him go. He laughed at me as my grip tightened. "It's time for dinner your dad's gonna kill me if we don't get down there. He's gonna think we're doing something up here." Dylan laughed and placed me on my feet. He leaned down to kiss me and i pouted, crossed my arms and turned my head. He smirked and started to tickle me."Dyl! S-s-stop!!!" I laughed uncontrollably. I fell to the floor laughing and he followed tickling me. He pinned my arms over my head. I was still recovering from my laughing. Dylan passionately kissed me. He let my arms go and i snaked them around his neck and ran my fingers through his hair. His hair was starting to get longer."You need a hair cut." I laughed as i pulled back from him. "Thanks haha, actually was gonna shave it tomorrow." Dylan said."NO! Don't shave it!!! Just trim it!" I said. I liked to be able to run my fingers through his hair but it was getting pretty long. He laughed at my reaction."Okay sounds good." He leaned down to kiss me again when there was another knock on my door."You kids coming down for dinner? Your father was up here like 10 minutes ago!" My mom said."Sorry we're coming!" I said as we got off the floor and walked towards the door."I told you." Dylan said, i mocked him and then fixed his hair since i messed it all up. We went down stairs and had dinner. Afterwards Dylan helped my dad clean up dinner and i talked to my mom. We agreed to not say anything to my dad because he still thinks im a virgin and it's gonna stay that way for a while... Haha. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Can Dylan stay the night?" I asked as everyone was getting ready for bed."Yes." My mom said."No." My dad said at the same time as my mom."Jeff." My mom said looking at my dad who looked from my mom to me back to my mom. She stared him down and then he gave in."Fine he can stay the night, but you your room and Dylan on the couch." My dad said, my mom nodded with him."Thank you daddy!" I said running and giving him a hug. "Your welcome sweetheart. Night love you." My dad said and my parents went up to bed. Dylan had to go get clothes and stuff so he left to get everything he needed and i set up the living room. He was only gone about 10/15 minutes. "Night Soph." Dylan smiled."Night Dyl." He kissed me and got on the couch. It was a pull out couch and it was actually comfortable. I had to sleep on it a lot because when Ryan would beat me it hurt to bad to walk up the steps... So i would tell my parents that i had spilled something on my bed so they wouldnt think it was weird that i was sleeping down stairs. But luckily that hasnt had to happen in a while. I mean now they know but whatever.I went upstairs and grabbed my phone along with my charger and went back downstairs. I plugged in my phone and slid onto the bed next to Dylan."What are you doing?" He asked."Sleeping down here with you." I smiled."But what about your dad?" "I don't care... It's not like we're gonna do anything and it's not like I'm sneaking you in my room." I laughed. Dylan kissed the top of my head and i moved closer to him. "Alright then." He chuckled. I placed my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. "Goodnight Dyl." I said in a yawn."Goodnight Soph." __________________________So i'm really running out of things to say down here... So like OMG THE YEAR IS ALMOST OVER! Like what? Where did the year go? 2013 came and went fast but actually really sucked for me. A lot of bad stuff happened and i wasn't quite sure how i was gonna handle everything but i did it with the love and support of you guys <3 so i wanted to thank you all for being awesome and caring and reading!
