Chapter 12

Dylan's POV ~I walked into the kitchen and Julia was smirking at me. "Whats with the face?" I asked sitting next to her and grabbing an apple."Kinda hard to have a 'family dinner' when part of the family never shows up." She said and winked."Sorrryyy...." I said dragging out the word and biting the apple."Its fine i dont really care haha, so what did you do last night?" Julia asked."Well i stayed over Sophia's." I said and started smiling thinking about her."And what exactly did you two do?" Julia asked."We... Um... Enjoyed each others company." I said and Julia busted out laughing. "Just be safe..." She said once she stopped laughing so hard that she couldnt breathe."Shut up im not an idiot Juls!" I huffed and got up and headed to my room."Wait Dyl." Julia said and i stopped and turned around. "Im sorry..." She said."Thank you." I laughed and I sat back down next to her."You really like Soph huh?" She asked."Yeah, i really do." I smiled."Give me your phone." Julia demanded."What? Why?" I said."Just give it Dyl!" She said and grabbed it from my hand. I had no clue what she was doing. Julia pulled out her phone and typed something into it and handed me back my phone."What was that about?" I asked."I had to look something up, anyway... What are you doing today?" Julia asked."What do you want to do? Im all yours for the day." I said."I want us to hangout with Soph." She said smiling. "You do?" I was so confused."Yeah i do. She seems awesome and i want to get to hangout with her and get to know her better." Juls said."I'll get ready and then i'll text her." I said and got up. I texted Soph about my sister wanting us all the hang and then i hopped in the shower.Sophia's POV ~I was having breakfast with Tara and she was 20 questioning me like always. I seriously wonder how we're related sometimes..."So what did you and Dylan do last night?" Tara asked."Just... Hung out." I was hesitant, I couldn't tell her what we really did she's only 12!"Were you okay?" She asked."Of corse i was why wouldnt i have been?" I said."Well mom and dad dropped me off home after dance and then went to Aunt Laura's for the adult night. When i came in it was quiet, but then i heard noises..." Tara said. I realized my parents werent home. Thank god because if my dad knew i had Dylan in my room all night... And what we did we would both be dead. If your wondering how they didnt know the other night they thought Dyl slept on the couch. He pretended to fall asleep on the couch and when they fell asleep came in my room and left before they were up."What did you hear Tar?" I asked."You.... Moaning, groaning, yelling.... Did he hurt you Soph?" Tara asked as tears filled her perfect blue eyes at the thought of someone else hurting me."No Tara." I placed my hands on her shoulders and looked her in her eyes. "Dylan did not hurt me in anyway." I reassured her."Then why were you making those noises?" She asked."I cant explain that to you... Your to young-ah bup bup! Dont get mad at me for saying that i have a reason to. But i can tell you the screech later at night as me having that flash back dream..." I said."Ok and i figured... I wanted to come check on you but i just tired to sleep through it..." Tara said."Okay! So we're good? And we dont tell mom and dad Dylan was in my room ok?" I said."Yeah i guess and right!" She said and laughed. Then i got a text from an unknown number. ~Texts~From Unknown number ~"Hey! Its Julia, Dylan's sister. I took ur # from his phone shh... ;) haha so would you want to hangout today with me and Dyl?" To Julia ~"Hey! Haha and sure! =)"From Julia ~"Awesome! See ya later :)" Then i got a text from Dylan. From Dylan ~"Hey, wanna hang with me and Juls today?"To Dylan ~"Sure babe! But can i drag Tara along...? I have to watch after her today." From Dylan ~"Sure thing beautiful :) it will be fun see ya at 12" ~End Texts~"We're gonna hangout with Dylan and his sister today, please dont be a nuisance." I begged."When am i a nuisance?" Tara said."Really? Like your the game of 20 questions! You should have a button that says 'Press Here to Play'." I said, Tara looked hurt. "Im sorry Tar... I didnt mean it in a mean way or to upset you. I just get nervous around Dylan and hes not used to living with you and i dont want to overwhelm him...""Its okay... Your right i do go over board sometimes. I promise i'll be good." Tara smiled."Thank you! I love ya, now get ready they'll be here in an hour!" I said jumping up from the kitchen table to get ready."Love ya too Soph..." Tara said rolling her eyes and laughing at me jumping around happily like a moron.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tara was all ready and waiting in the living room. I was finishing up getting read when Dylan said they were on their way. I started to freak and get nervous... I dont know why but i did. I was trying to do a french braid across the top of my head but my hands kept shaking and it was coming out sloppy, the side effects of these meds suck and i cant wait to get off them. I heard a car pull up and then i heard Dylan talking to Tara. I probably look like an asshole not being ready now. I was trying the braid again when i heard Dylan call my name."Soph? Where are you?" He asked."In my bathroom." I yelled while trying to braid. Next thing i knew Dylan was standing behind me."Hello beautiful." He said, i smiled but then made a mad face because the braid was messed up again. I grunted and let go of my hair and it laid all crazy on the top of my head. I was so frustrated just from not being able to do my hair. Dylan giggled at my and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close, he placed his chin on my shoulder and looked at us in the mirror. He kissed my cheek and then my neck and nuzzled his face in my neck and smelled my hair. I laughed at him silently. "Having trouble Soph?" He asked looking bak up towards the mirror."Kinda... Im just frustrated because i was trying to french braid across like a headband but im shaking from the meds and i cant." I said aggravated. Dylan pulled me by my waist and sat on the toilet seat and placed me on his lap. He smiled and ran his fingers through my hair undoing the messed up braid. My hair fell back to its natural part just a little to the left. He ran his thumb down my cheek and over my lip and pulled my chin up a little and leaned in and pecked my lips. He backed away and i smiled."I think you look beautiful with your hair down like this." Dylan leaned his forehead against mine. His touch made me want to melt."Thanks Dyl." I smiled. I brought my hands to his cheeks and kissed him passionately. Our lips moved in sync and i smiled. After a couple seconds we backed away catching our breath. Our foreheads against each others i hand my hand placed at the back of his neck. I ran ad twirled my fingers through his hair at the base of his neck. I went to talk but he cut me off and smashed his lips on mine. His hands went from my cheeks to my waist and pulled me father on his lap. "Dylan-i think-we....-we should-get back down-stairs... You left Julia alone with Tara." I spoke between kisses, Dylan had pulled away so i could talk."True, but i want to be with you here." Dylan smiled running his hands up and down my back."We're gonna be together down stairs too! Just not full blown making out." I laughed. "Come on." I said getting up and pulling Dylan's arm. He groaned but got up. I pulled him into my bedroom and grabbed my bag. Dylan threw me over his shoulder and ran downstairs. I laughed the whole way down. He put me down at the bottom of the stairs and gestured me to go first. "Ma lady." Dylan said bowing. I laughed and walked in front of him. "Thank you kind sir." I said. Dylan laughed his cute laugh and followed me to the living room. Tara an Julia were just chilling and talking. No interrogating thank god!"What took you so long?" Tara asked."None of your business." I said poking her nose smiling and then hugging and saying hi to Julia. "Everybody ready?" Dylan asked, all us girls yupped him and we walked out the door. "I better be careful i got a group of 3 beautiful girls to take care of all day." Dylan said as we walked to his car. I jumped on his back and we laughed. "Ew!!" Tara mocked and Julia laughed. We went to get in the car and i went to sit in the back with Tara and Julia was by the door."What are you doing?" Julia asked."Going to sit in the backseat with my sister so you can sit by your brother...?" I said kinda as a question. "You sit in the front with Dyl and i sit with your sister." Julia said and smiled."You sure?" I asked."Yes i am." She smiled and we all go in the car. As Dylan was driving he placed his hand on my thigh. He didnt take his eyes off the road but he was smiling. I placed my hand on top of his and we intertwined our fingers. I looked over at him and he came to a stop light and looked at me. I smiled and he pecked my cheek and then the light turned green and Dylan focused on the road again. I felt a tap on my right shoulder, i turned my head and Julia was smiling. I smiled back and winked. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We got back to my house around 6ish. It was a really fun day! We went to the movies and then roller skating. Hanging out all four of us was awesome. It was cute how Dylan interacted with Tara. She wasnt left out she was treated like 'a big kid' and i could tell it made her happy. Julia told me she wanted to talk when we got back to my house. I brought her to room while Dyl and Tar were in the living room."Whats up?" I asked plopping down onto my bed as she sat in the comfy chair in my room."You and Dylan should go out tonight. Like on a date." Julia said smiling and paused. "Since you havent been on a real date that is.""That would be nice but i have to watch Tara tonight my parents wont be home till like 10." I said sadly."I'll watch her if thats okay with her and you. Shes a pretty cool kid, we can paint nails and watch a movie it will be fun." Julia said."Okay, sounds great lets go ask her." I said.We went downstairs and i talked to Tara and Juls talked to Dyl. Everyone agreed and Dylan and i were gonna go on like an actual kind of date! I was happy but nervous of the idea of a date. Why? I dont know! Dylan said he knew where he wanted to take me and that we'd have a lot of fun. We got in the car and Dylan started driving.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We pulled up to the beach and Dylan parked the car. He got out and ran around and opened the door for me. I giggled and hopped out of the car. We went to walk onto the beach so we took off our shoes and held them. Quietly we walked hand and hand down to the shore line. I sat so when the water came up it hit my feet but my shorts stayed dry. Dylan sat behind me with his legs and arms around me. I laid my head back on his shoulder and we watched the sun set in peace. Dylan place a kiss on my shoulder and buried his face in the back of my neck. My arms had been laid across his which were around my waist but i moved them and reached back behind Dylan head and ran my fingers through the hair on the back of his head. I felt a smile come across his lips onto my skin and another kiss on my neck. The sun was almost set when Dylan asked me if i wanted to go to the boardwalk. "I would love too!" I said. We both got up and i was brushing the sand off my butt when i noticed Dylan staring. "What?" I asked him."Nothing." He smirked. "Are you looking at my butt?" I asked laughing and he blushed."Well could you blame a guy?" Dylan threw his hands up and surrendered. "Lets head to the boardwalk hot shot." I laughed. I went to turn around but the next thing i knew Dylan ran towards me and under me. Picking me up on his shoulders. I laughed and wrapped my hand around his head for dear life because i thought i was gonna fall at first. He arms wrapped tight around my legs. I placed my hand and chin on the top of his head and we walked to the boardwalk. When we got there Dylan put me down and we walked holding hands. We played some games but didnt win anything. We came across ring toss and the prize for getting a ring on the bottle was a giant stuffed tigger! I wanted it so bad but i sucked at ring toss."Dylan!" I squealed pointing to the giant tigger. "Can you try and win it i suck at ringtoss." I said."I can try." Dylan said placing a kiss on my cheek. We walked up and gave the worker $2 and he gave us a bucket of rings. Dylan let me toss a few but i really wanted the tigger so i told him he could do it. It was cute to watch him focus. The little faces he made while thinking. Dylan picked up the last ring and threw it. It hit the top of the bottle bouncing off onto another but then it fell."Damn... Better luck next time babe. Thanks for trying" I said an kissed his cheek. Dylan leaned over and talked to the worker really quick and he handed Dylan 1 more ring. I laughed as i watched him pay close attention to what he was doing. He tossed the ring and it landed on top of the bottle and stayed. I was soo freaking excited and it was so cute hot excited he was for me to be excited hehe. Dylan spun me around and kissed me and the guy handed us the stuffed animal.We headed back to the car but it was a kinda long walk. I had a great day but was exhausted. I was holding the stuffed animal and falling asleep as i walked. Dylan stopped me took the stuffed animal and bent down. I jumped on his back and wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. I placed my head on his shoulder and fell asleep on the way to the car. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I woke up and Dylan was picking me up and bringing me out of the car. I moaned and groaned because i was tired and didnt want him to move me. I was so comfortable in the car. He laughed and picked me up bridal style and carried me up to my room. He placed me on my bed along with my giant stuffed tigger and kissed my forehead. I smiled."I'll call you in the morning, Tara is asleep already and your parents should be home soon." I heard Dylan say as he ran his thumb across my cheek. I nodded."I had a great day Dylan. I love you." I said as i opened my eyes to look at him."Im glad. I love you too. Night Soph." Dylan said and kissed my forehead and i drifted off to sleep thinking about what a great day i had!__________________________Aw! So i hope ya like it!!
