Chapter 110
02:15, 27 April 20203 WEEKS LATER:
Tinsley woke to the sound of Jax singing a lullaby to Thomas. It still shocked her to hear Jax sing because not only was the man beautiful but if he ever decided to give up the outlaw life, she could be the next American Idol. In fact, she thought he was better than some of the previous winners on the show. But then again she was extremely partial and wasn't scared to admit it.
Now wouldn't that be something... outlaw biker turned American Idol
Rolling onto her side, she watched Jax as he swayed back and forth beside the bed wearing only his low slung sweats- insert drool here- and continued to sing all in an attempt to try and sooth Thomas.
🎶You are my sunshine, my only sunshine🎶🎶You make me happy when skies are gray🎶🎶You'll never know dear, how much I love you🎶🎶Please don't take my sunshine away🎶
"Have I ever told you how beautiful your voice is?" Asked Tinsley.
"Only every time I sing" said Jax.
"Well, I just thought I would remind you" said Tinsley.
"Thank you Mrs. Teller but in about two minutes, all the singing in the world isn't gonna calm this little guy. He's getting hungry" said Jax.
"What time is it?" Asked Tinsley.
"Nearly 9:00" said Jax.
"Geez, no wonder he's fussy. He hasnt ate since 4:00." Said Tinsley.
"We we're trying to let you get some rest. But this little guy wasn't really having it" said Jax.
"I can imagine. Here, Pass him to me. I got just what he needs." Said Tinsley.
Jax sat down on the bed and just looked at Tinsley.
"You got something I need too" said Jax.
"There you go with that one track mind again." Said Tinsley.
"I can't help it. I look at you and all I can think about is mind blowing, hot, and passionate sex" said Jax.
"While holding one of our kids?" Asked Tinsley.
"24/7 baby" said Jax.
"You need help" said Tinsley.
"No, I need you" said Jax.
Before Tinsley could reply, Thomas let out the biggest little whine she had ever heard out of him.
"Shh little buddy. Momma is gonna get you fed" said Jax.
Sitting up, Tinsley removed her shirt and bra and layed back down on her side. Jax laid thomas on the bed beside Tinsley and watched as she brought him to her breast and began to nurse him. The little guy latched right on and began to drink the life giving milk that she produced. Even though Jax had seen her do this numerous times with the triplets, it still brought so much joy to his heart to watch her with Thomas as well.
And speaking of the triplets, he heard them began to fuss announcing that they were awake. And right one cue, Abel started yelling Dada.
"Looks like the whole gangs awake" said Tinsley.
"Yep. I'll go get them calmed down and downstairs to play" said Jax.
"Ok. I'll be down in a few to fix breakfast. Let them have a banana or an orange if they are completely starving." Said Tinsley.
"I'll handle breakfast and the kids. You stay here and snuggle with Thomas." Said Jax.
"Jax..." started Tinsley.
"No, I got this. Even if it means calling Sunny Side and ordering out, I'll handle breakfast. When your done, come on down." said Jax.
"Seriously Jax, I can cook. It's not a big deal." Said Tinsley.
"Baby, I got this." Said Jax as he walked out of the bedroom.
Since Tinsley and the kids had came back from California, Jax had been trying to make up for lost time with the kids. When she left, the triplets were only 4 months old. Now, they were almost 11 months. She knew Jax would never get the time back he lost and one one hand, she blamed herself for that but on the other, she blamed Jax. If he hadn't have been so damn nasty to her, she wouldn't have left. But then again, if she had took into consideration how Jax felt because of the ankle and being out of work and the expense of yet another child, it could have been a whole lot different.
But, those day were behind them now. They swore to move on from them. They weren't going to act like they never happened but they weren't going to hold it over one another's heads either.
As she laid there on the bed letting Thomas nurse, she began to doze off. As hard as she fought it, she ended up slipping off to dream land. The dream she fell into was went a little something like this:
It was a hot summer day. Tinsley, Jax and the kids had all went to the beach for the day. Tinsley laid on a beach chair listening to the waves crash on the shore, the gulls flying over head, and to the sound of her children's sweet laughter. Rolling her head to the side, she watched as Jax helped the 5 kids build a sand castle. He had the biggest smile on his face as he helped them.
"Daddy, who thought you to do this" asked Lizzie.
"No one baby. I learned this on my own" said Jax.
"You're the best ever at this" said Jagger
"I don't know about all that" said Jax.
Gracie filled her little pink bucket with sand and packed it down right. With her little tongue stuck out of her mouth, she was concentrating so hard that her little forehead had wrinkles.
"That bucket ready Gracie?" Asked Jax.
"Yep. Here you go daddy" said Gracie.
Jax took the bucket and flipped it upside down onto the other parts of the castle. When he removed the bucket, Gracie squealed in utter delight.
"I have the bestest, most special daddy in the world" she said.
"No, I have the bestest, most special daddy" said Abel.
"But I thought I had the bestest, most special daddy" said Lizzie.
"No, my dada" said a whining Thomas.
Before Jagger got chance to throw in his he had thr best dad, Tinsley got up from her chair and sat down beside them. As soon as she sat down, Thomas tottled over your her and climbed in her lap, sucking his thumb.
"No need to argue kids. Daddy has enough love inside his heart for every last one of you. You all that's the best, most special, and amazing daddy on the planet." Said Tinsley.
"I have the most beautiful momma" said Jagger proudly as he walked over and hugged her around the neck.
And in true sibling form, they all began to argue over who had the most beautiful mommy.
Just as she had Jax had gotten the kids settled down, a familiar figure began walking towards them. As the figure for closer, Tinsley could tell it was a female. But when the figure for even closer, the wind caught the big floppy straw hat the woman was wearing, revealing her face. It was none other than Wendy. Tinsley looked over to see what Jax was going to do and noticed he was gone.
When Wendy reached them, she reached down and lifted Abel.
"No baby, I'm your mom. Not her. Don't listen to what she says sweet boy. She's just pretending to be to be mommy."said Wendy.
And with that, she began walking away with Abel. Tinsley tried to climb to her feet but the sand kept shifting. No matter how hard she tried to get her balance, she couldn't get up.
When she finally did, she looked around and couldn't find Wendy and Abel anywhere
"She took my son! That lady took my son!" Screamed Tinsley.
▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️
Tinsley awoke with a start form the disturbing dream she had just had. It had always been a camera of hers that Wendy would come back and try to take bale from her. No, she may not have given birth to him, but she was his mother in ever sense of the word.
Attempting to calm her nerves, she snuggled Thomas to her chest. He had fallen asleep as well. Realizing he didn't want to wake up to eat, she removed her nipple from his chubby little cheeks. He whined got a minute because she removed it but decided sleep was more important.
Tinsley climbed out of bed and dressed in a pair of Jax's sweats and a one of her tank tops. Grabbing Thomas, she began walking down stairs . As she went, she couldn't help but think it was too quiet.
The sight that met her when she reached the dining room was enough to have her already too big heart growing in size again.
Jax was sitting at the table with the kids. Jax's head was bowed but the kids were all looking around. Tinsley Bowes her head as well.
"Thank you lord for this food. Thank you for providing us with this meal. Thank you for my amazing kids. But most of all lord, thank you for my amazing wife. Thank you for allowing me to have another chance with her. In Jesus name, amen" said Jax.
When Jax was done, Tinsley listed her head and and she and Jax's eyes met.
"When did you become so religious" said Tinsley.
"When you walked out of that door" said Jax as he pointed in the direction the the front door.
"Oh" said Tinsley. She wasn't a very religious person. She could practically count on 2 hands how many times she had prayed in her life time.
"Does that bother you?" Asked Jax.
"Who would it?" Asked Tinsley.
"Because I know your not a really religious person." Said Jax.
"No, I'm not but that doesn't mean I'm going to hold anything against you for being that way" said Tinsley.
"My grandfather is a pastor. Did you know that?" Said Jax.
"No, I didn't." Said Tinsley as she walked over to the table and took her seat, positing Thomas in her left arm so she could eat with her right.
"Yep, mom's dad is a pastor. Mom grew up extremely religious. Could let tell it now though" said Jax.
"No, you sure can't. Not being funny Jax, but how does the whole religious thing play into your lifestyle?" Said Tinsley.
"Well, I know 99% of the things we do break some sort of sin. But that's life. Everyone commend some sort of sin everyday.. even pastors. Some are just worse than others. " said Jax.
"That's true. But how do you go forward with SAMCRO?" asked Tinsley.
"I'm not sure." Said Jax.
The two of them fell into silence as they ate their breakfasts. Tinsley didn't really know how to take this side of Jax knowing the things he did. Add in the dream she had just had, and well, she was just a damn mess.
"Will you leave SAMCRO?" Asked Tinsley.
"No. SAMCRO is my legacy. The only thing I can do is try to get us into a more ideal way of doing business. The first step to that is going to be getting us out of guns." Said Jax.
"And that's that look like" said Tinsley.
"I'm not sure. While we were in Belfast, Maureen told me that dad wanted to get SAMCRO out of guns. He had set up a meeting with the IRA to facilitate that transition. But as you know, he died before that happened. You already know what Maureen told me about Clay and how JT suspected him of trying to kill him. But I don't think that's true. Clay is a lot of things, but I don't think he did it. I means it's possible that Maureen told me all that as a way to turn me against Clay. It possible that she was lying about the whole thing." Said Jax.
"I remember. So why would JT have thought that and why would she have lied?Asked Tinsley.
"I don't know. Dad always trusted his gut on things. For him to say Clay would have any involvement makes me question if I believe it or not. Don't get me wrong, I know Clay is definitely capable of it. I've seen him do it too many times. My gut is telling me though that if he did it, he wasn't alone in it. As far as Maureen, like I said, she could have made the whole thing up." Said Jax.
"So what do you do?" Asked Tinsley. This whole conversation had made the food on her plate suddenly the most revolting thing she had ever smelt.
"I don't know." Said Jax.
