Chapter 75

After Tinsley was calmed down, she walked towards the elevators that would carry her up to see Willow. She knew she was technically banned from the building but decided to test her luck. She was just getting into elevator when someone called her name. Turning, she looked for the voice and found herself staring at Kevin, Tara's husband. Shit thought Tinsley. She didn't want to get into it with him. Not today and especially not after the phone call she had just had. Her nerves were already on edge and she wasn't up for any kind of altercation with anyone. Hoping to avoid it, she quickly hit the button that would close the doors but they didn't close fast enough. Kevin stick his hand inside just before they were fully closed. He walked into the elevator and Tinsley considered getting out. She knew he was going to confront her about the fight she and Tara had early this morning. Looking at him, he didn't seem pissed. He didn't look like he held anything against her when seemed odd to her. She didn't know know but he didn't look like he was pisses either.

Deciding to just get this over with, she stayed on the elevator and braced herself for what was to come whether it was good or bad.

"Hello Mrs. Teller." Said Kevin.

"Hey" said Tinsley.

"I thought you were banned from the building". Said Kevin.

"Oh you know, just testing my luck. Plus I need to grab my keys and purse since I wasn't allowed to get them last night." Said Tinsley.

They both stayed silent for a moment but it was Kevin who spoke first.

"You know, I know Tara is a bitch. I know her being back here hasn't been easy for you and Jax. She didn't go into detail about what happened but let me just say, if she was out of line, thank you for doing what I have wanted to do for some time now. She has made my life a living hell these past few weeks. I didn't want her to come back her. I didn't want her to tell Ava I wasn't her dad" said Kevin.

"Why don't you just leave her?" Asked Tinsley. She knew it wasn't any of her business but it was a legitimate question and anyone in their right mind would ask.

"Because I love her and I love Ava even though she isn't mine. When Tara and I got together, Ava was still a baby. I'm the only dad she has ever known. That's why I didn't wart her to tell Ava. I knew this would only hurt Ava in the long run.But when Tara heard about you and Jax getting married, she lost it. It's like someone flipped a switch in her. She didn't care that I didn't want her to come here. She didn't care that telling Ava I wasnt her dad was going to hurt her. She didn't care about anything. She's obsessed." Said Kevin.

"Who are you telling? She told me last night and numerous times before that she would do whatever she had to do to get Jax back. I understand that you love her and that you love Ava, but staying with her and putting up with her bullshit is the last thing you need. No one deserves to be treated as second best. I don't know you all that well but it says a lot for your character that you have helped raise Ava as your own. It's says a lot that to that even though your wife left yalls life, you cane with her because you love her. Again, she doesn't deserve you and you damn sure don't deserve be treated like shit because she has some disillusioned idea that she's going to get back with an ex." Said Tinsley.

"I know. But it's just so hard to give up on ten years" said Kevin.

"I know what you mean. I've been there. It took me moving here and leaving everything I've ever know before I knew what true happiness was" said Tinsley.

The doors to the elevator opened and Tinsley walked out. Kevin didn't get off the elevator. She figured he was going up to see Tara. Before the doors could shut on the elevator, Kevin stuck his hand in front of the door to keep it from closing.

"Tinsley, thank you for being a listening ear. I know we don't know each other all that well and I know we met under unfortunate circumstances, but you are a good person. Jax deserves someone who will treat him right. And as much as Tara thinks she's that person, she not. She doesn't know how to treat anyone." Said Kevin.

"Thanks. You deserve happiness too you know" said Tinsley.

"I know. Tell Jax I said hi"" Said Kevin.

"I will. Take care of yourself" said Tinsley

Kevin shook his head and moved his arm allowing the elevator doors to shut. Tinsley thought he acted kind of "off" but she wasn't a good judge of people so who was she to say. She really didn't know him either so maybe that's just the type of person she is. With everything going on, she was sure she was acting a little off too. He had reason to not be himself in he opinion.

Once she reached Willow's room, she walked in and found her feeding TBD. She still couldn't believe Willow was a mom and that the two of them would have kids that would grow up so close in age.

"Hey ho" said Tinsley when she walked in. She found Gemma coming out of the restroom.

"Hey Muhammad Ali" said Willow laughing.

"Can it. I'm not in the mood" said Tinsley.

"Well aren't you just a ray of fucking sunshine today" said Willow.

Tinsley tolled her eyes at Willow's comment. She wasn't in the mood for her shit today. Tinsley was completely exhausted but she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep until Jax got back. Taking a deep breath, she sat down on the edge of the bed beside Willow.

"How's TBD doing today?" Asked Tinsley.

"Eating like he's starving to death. My nipples already hurt" said Willow.

"Get used to it. After a couple days the soreness will be gone" said Tinsley.

"In a couple of days, there won't be anything left of a nipple." Said Willow.

"Yes there will. Quit bitching" said Tinsley.

"What's wrong with you? You sure are bitchy" said Willow.

"Nothing. Just a lot going on and running on fumes" said Tinsley.

"Have anything to do with that phone call when we got here?" Asked Gemma.

"Sorta" said Tinsley.

She told gemma and Willow about the phone call with the detective. Then she told them about bumping into Kevin in the elevator and what he had said to her.

"He's right. She deserved everything she got and then some" said Gemma.

"Absolutely" said Willow.

"I know." Said Tinsley.

"Kevin seems like a good guy. I will never know is what he saw in that slut Tara but that's just me. I've never liked her ass and her leaving like she did made me hate her even more. And as for that detective, if you don't knew anything, there isn't anything for him to investigate." Said Gemma.

"Kevin must have been fooled but her at some point. She seems to be quite the actress." Said Tinsley.

"Oh she definitely is." Said gemma. The hatred for Tara was real and with good reason. If someone did something like that to Abel and Jagger when they got older, she was sure she would lose her shit.

"Back to the detective. He made it a point to tell me that he knew I was married to the VP of SAMCRO. Told me all about their arrest records and all" and Tinsley.

"And you know just as well as I do Jax or any of the guys hasn't been anywhere near North Carolina. Hell they haven't even really left the state except for this run to Ireland. We don't even have a charters in North Carolina or any of the neighboring states." Said Gemma.

"I know. It was just kind of odd that he would throw that out there" said Tinsley.

"He did it because as you said, they have no suspects. He was hoping that you would say something that would give him reason to investigate SAMCRO" said Willow.

"I know. I just can't shake the feeling that he is going to cause trouble for us" said Tinsley.

"What trouble can he cause? We have nothing to do with a murder in North Carolina. The only reason they know about is because of the pictures that were found and your involvement with your ex" said Gemma.

"So this is all my fault now?" Asked Tinsley snapping at Gemma.

"Your going time want to change your tone missy. I didn't say it was your fault. All I said was that's the only reason he's curious about SAMCRO." Said Gemma.

"I know. And I'm sorry for jumping down your throat like that. There's just so much going on and I want Jax home. I know this is going to make me sound weak as hell but, he would know how to handle this" said Tinsley.

"It doesn't make you weak. I makes you human. I miss them too. I haven't been able to get up with Clay in two days. Jax said Clay has been busy and that why he hasn't called." said Gemma. Tinsley knew the real reason why gemma hadn't been able to get up with Clay but she had promised Jax she would say anything and she wasn't about to break that promise.

"Same here. Any time I have talked to Half Sack, he's seemed busy as hell" said Willow.

"I guess" said Tinsley.

After their discussion, Tinsley moved over to a chair beside Gemma and sat down and began watching tv with Willow. Just as Tinsley was about to doze off, the speaker system in the hospital went off with a code blue.

"I hope whoever it is will ok" said Willow.

"Yea, me too" said Tinsley.
