Chapter 72

Jax and the guys were currently on a gun run with SAMBEL. They were sitting around an old warehouse waiting for the guns to be delivered. He had noticed that McGee and O'Neil were a long strange. Yes, they welcomed them to the club house but it was obviously cramping their style that SAMCRO was there.

Jax moves over to a bail of hay and sat down on it holding his head in his hands, massage his temples. He had a headache unlike any he had ever had before. He learned the hard way that Irish whiskey would damn near kill you. After his argument with Tinsley, he fell into the whiskey and didn't come up until it was nearly dawn. He needed to talk to her but he didn't know if she wanted to talk to him. He hated that she had gotten so pissed but he understood. She was extremely jealous over Jax and he was of her as well. If he had been on the other end of that phone and heard what she did, he would have flipped the fuck out just like she did. When he was done here, he would call her and attempt to talk to her.

Just as his head was staring to ease off, he heard the doors of the warehouse being slammed. In a matter of seconds, gunfire rang out outside of the warehouse. Everyone ran for the doors trying to knock them down. When they couldn't get through, one of the SAMBEL guys climbed into the truck. He was going to drive it through the doors. But just as he was about to start the engine, everyone yelled at him to stop. But the engine turned over. It sputtered and started. Everyone dove for cover thinking that it was going to blow up. But luckily it didn't. The driver of the truck revved the engine and took off, bursting through the doors of the old warehouse. Everyone ran out trying to see how had locked them inside. Jax made it out just as a station wagon was pulling out of the path that led to the highway. Jax ran over to Chibs and Juice.

"What the fuck just happened?" Asked Jax.

"No idea brother" said Juice.

"Where's Clay?" Said Jax.

"I'm not sure. CLAY!!" Yelled Chibs.

Jax looked around the crowd. He found everyone was ok but he didn't see Clay or McGee and O'Neil anywhere.

"Where the fuck is O'Neil and McGee?" Asked Jax.

Chibs and Juice looked around and couldn't find them either.

"Who the fuck was in that car?" Yelled Jax.

"Had to be McGee and O'Neil. It looks like they took Clay with them." Said Tig.

"We need to get him back. The only reason McGee and O'Neil would have have taken Clay is if they knew why we're here. If they know, it's not going to end well" said Jax.

"I'll start working on traffic camera back at the club house and see if I can catch them anywhere" said Juice.

"Let's get out of here" said Jax.

Meanwhile in Charming, the cab pulled up in front of Gemma's and Tinsley got out. On the ride over, her hands had began to ache for the hits she had landed on Tara. She's couldn't believe she hadn't been charged with anything yet. Hell, for all she knew, Tara was still out of it. He began to wonder if she had done serious damage. If she did, she would face some prison time. Prison was the last thing she wanted. She didn't want her kids to have to visit her in lock up over someone as meaningless as tara.

Walking into Gemma's, she found Gemma and the kids in the living room. The babies were sleeping and so was Abel. Gemma sag on the couch doing a crossword puzzle.

"Thought you were staying at the hospital with Willow" said Gemma.

"I was. But I ran into Tara. I kinda beat the breaks off her" said Tinsley.

"What do you mean kind of?" Asked Gemma.

"Well I know I broke her nose and I'm pretty sure a few ribs" said Tinsley.

"My god. What did that slut do to you?" Asked Gemma.

"She got in my face about Jax. Called me a fat whore and said Jax was probably fucking at least 2 other woman right now. She said that Jax only kept me around to keep him warm during the winter. Then she told me thag once Jax saw me in a bikini, he would go running back to her begging her to take him back. I just lost it" explained Tinsley.

"Sounds like she deserved what she got." Said gemma.

"When the guards pulled me off of her, she was unconscious. What if I did serious damage Gem? What if she presses charges? What does that mean for my kids?" Said Tinsley.

"Baby, you put the fear of god in her. She knows now that you aren't playing with her. If you had done serious damage, the law would be here picking you up right now. As far as any charges, we will deal with that when they come." Said Gemma.

"I don't know what came over me. I don't know if her saying those things made me feel like shit because in my mind, I think Jax will eventually cheat one me. I know I'm not what Jax is used to as far as women. I don't know if my fight with Jax factored in or not because since our fight, I haven't talked to him. I tried calling and his phone goes to voicemail." Said Tinsley.

"It goes to voicemail because he broke it" said Gemma.

"How did he break it?" Asked Tinsley.

"After you guys had your fight, he threw his phone and it broke" said Gemma.

"Oh" said Tinsley.

"Yeah. He's been waiting for you to reach out through one of the guys. He thinks you don't want to talk to him" said Gemma.

"I didn't want to bother any of the other guys with out shit" said Tinsley.

"You need to call him. I talked to him earlier and he didn't sound good" said Gemma.

"He's not hurt is he?" Asked Tinsley.

"No. He said it had been a rough day. He wouldn't go into any details" said Gemma. She was obviously suspicious about what was going on.

"Have they confronted that McGee guy yet?" Asked Tinsley.

"Jax wouldnt say" said Gemma.

Tinsley sat down on the couch beside Gemma and rested her head on Gemma's shoulder.

"I miss him so much" said Tinsley.

"I know you do sweetheart. The distance gets easier I promise. But, for it to get easier, you can't keep fighting him. I know you have your insecurities. Hell, we all do. But in order for you guys to last, your going to have to learn to live with the other girls. I don't think Jax will cheat on you. He loves you too much." Said Gemma.

"I don't know that I can get used tot he other women. I can't keep fighting them all." Said Tinsley.

"The girls that hang around here know not to fuck with him. Except for Tara obviously. There was an old saying about what happens on a run stays on a run. I know you don't want to think of Jax sleeping with anyone no more than I want to think about Clay doing the same thing but it happens." Said Gemma.

"Jax knows that cheating is a deal breaker for me. I told him that from the get go. He knows if he ever cheats on me, I will take the kids and I will leave him" said Tinsley.

"Jax loves you sweetheart. You just have to believe that he will make the right choices" said Gemma.

"I know" said Tinsley as she laid her head back on the cushions of the couch.

"Get some rest baby. I'll take care of the kids. I've those hands so they aren't too sore. I'm gonna get some sleep while the kids are out. Sun will be up soon." said Gemma.

"Ok mom" said Tinsley.

After Gemma left the room, Tinsley went to the kitchen and found a bag of frozen peas. She wrapped them in a towel and placed them on one hand. The coldness stung as first but soon made her bangs quit aching. Looking at the clock on the call, she saw it was 5:45 a.m. She had been up most all night. She continued to lay there, thinking about her fight with Jax, thinking about the fight with Tara, and thinking about all the things gemma had told her. She knew she needed to talk to Jax. She wanted to more than anything. She needed to hear his voice and have him tell her that everything was going to be ok.

Deciding to just bite thr bullet, she dug her phone out of her pocket and dialed Bobby's number. She didn't get an answer so she called Half Sacks phone. He answered after two rings.

"Everything ok with Willow?" Said Half Sack as a greeting.

"Yea, everything is fine." Said Tinsley. She hated to keep the birth of his child from him but she knew it was best. If he found out, he would try to rush things to get back to Willow and rushing always led to disaster.

"So what's up?" Asked Half Sack.

"I was hoping to talk to Jax" said Tinsley.

"I'm not with him right now. Him and Chibs are running down a lead" said Half Sack.

"Is he ok? Gemma said he didn't sound right when she talked to him." Said Tinsley.

"He's good. It's just been hectic. I'll let him explain everything when you talk to him" said Half Sack.

"Ok. Just tell him I called?" said Tinsley.

"Will do" said Half Sack.

"Thanks" said Tinsley.

She hung up the phone and leaned back into the couch. She laid there for a minute before sitting back up. She was restless. Deciding she wasn't going to get any sleep, she decided to cook breakfast.
