-chapter eight-

Ruben and i walked into the party with his arm around me. I was getting social anxiety cause i only knew the boys.

I sat down on the couch next to ruben and i see a girl with black short hair walk up to us.

"hey ruben" she greeted

"oh uh hey estee" she gave him a small smile and then looked at me

"is this your girlfriend" she asked pointing a finger at me

"yea, we've been dating for a while now"

he pulled me closer to him as i was playing with my fingers. I was a bit nervous cause the convo felt weird.

"oh, hey my name is estee" she held her arms out for a hug

"hi.. im bama" i hugged her back

"cute name, Your gorgeous by the way" she seemed to lighten the convo a bit

"oh thanks you too" it was weird talking to her

"im gonna go now but if you need anything ill be in the kitchen" she walked away

Ruben seemed down so i asked him what was wrong

"you good, your acting weird" i put my arm around him hopeing it helps

"yea.. um me and estee kinda have a weird relationship"

"like how" i was confused

"she has been liking me for a while and everytime she sees us or me hanging out with you she acts weird" ruben was looking down the whole time.

"look. It's ok i trust you and i know you'll never leave me.. right?" he looked up right after

"of course" he leaned in then we started to kiss

We stopped for a second because we both knew this wasn't the right place or time.

"im gonna get a drink" i held his hand so he gets up with me.

"ill go with you" he followed me into the kitchen where fuckshit and ray were at.

I told ruben i was gonna go and talk to ray since i needed advice and ray was the best person to go to. He was like an older brother to me.

"ray"

"hey bama whats up" he asked while handing me a drink

"do you know anything about ruben and estee" he looked at me weird right after

"yeah um estee has liked him for a long ass time and she has tried to hook up with him during school but he would always look at you at lunch when you would eat by yourself. He knew that he wanted you but you didn't notice him. Like bama he likes you alot so he turned down every girl to get with you even though you guys weren't dating. He looked at me right after.

"damn really" i said confused as hell

"yea he's liked you since the start of your sophomore year" he took another sip of his drink

"how come he hasn't approached me before?" i questioned while taking another sip

"he was scared you wouldn't like him for his soft side" he laughed a little bit

"omg i like his soft side way better though, I hate when he's mean but i mean its whatever."

"yea. If estee and her friends ever approach you though just know they just want you to hook them up with fuckshit."

"got it, Imma go with ruben now"

"ok if you need me bama ill be here, I gotchu"

I smiled and went back to ruben. He was talking to fuckshit but when he saw me he came up to me.

"hey baby whats up" he walked up to me

"oh i just wanted to tell you i like your soft side better" i smiled

"what soft side" he sounds dumb

"omg shut up" i said playfully and tapped his shoulder

We both laughed for a while.

"im getting tired" ruben mentioned and yawned

"yea same i hate wearing tight dresses, I need to take this shit off" i scratched my elbow

"i don't hate it" i said while putting his hand on my thigh"

"of course you don't" i laughed

We had conversations for a while and estee was staring at ruben and i. I noticed her go up to stevie and bring him into a bedroom.

"damn stevie is getting laid by estee. Isnt he like 13 or sum" i asked

"yea she's probably just desperate and horny" he shook his head

I yawned then fell asleep on his shoulder. I was over the party and intoxicated so i just wanted to go home.

I woke up on the couch of the shop with my head on rubens lap while he plays with my hair

"what time is it" i asked

"its 1:30" he replied in his tired voice

"ur voice is hot" i said quietly

"what" he said with a shook tone

"nothing" i mumbled

"you said my voice was hot" he laughed

"um.." i was embarrassed

"its fine, when u say it its cute" he said while he gave me a kiss on my forehead.

"can we smoke" i asked

"yea sure"

He gave me the lighter and we just hit it.

"what you thinking about baby" i asked

"have you ever thought what our kids would look like" he asked

"no why you ask" i laughed

"because i want you to have my kids. I want you to raise our gorgeous ass daughter and cute son" he said while hitting the blunt again

"i agree. They'll be good skaters like us" i smiled

We finished the blunt and our random ass convos.

He got undressed and he was just i his boxers, I didn't mind seeing the print though..

I also got undressed in front of him. I was comfortable with him.

I didn't feel embarrased that he saw some stuff and i liked it that way.

"wait bama waits your middle name" he asked randomly

"oh its nicole" i smiled

"whats your's ruben" i asked while getting under the blanket we had

"i dont like it but its giovanni" he laughed

"i think its cute" he laughed when i said that

"your's is cute" he replied while laying next to me.

"well good night alabama nicole cortez"

"omg shut up ruben giovanni galicia"

"ew" he flicked my forehead

"ow what the fuck" i pinched his finger

"fuck! im sorry" i yelled

"exactly" i replied

"shut up ill dunk your small ass in your pool"

"try me"

He picked me up like a child and i started to scream

"ok ok ahhhh" i yelled

"ok ill put u down"

"finally"

I got back under the blanket and so did he

"sorry bebe" he said while wrapping his arm around me

'its ok" i said in a tired voice

"goodnight baby" he replie

"goodnight"

We fell asleep together as usual but this night hit different with him.

I had dreams about our kids like he said. I wonder when that day will come.
