Why Do You Hate Me

I was begining to get fed up of liore staring at me.

Jule had gone on a run with barcley so it was just me, alra, and liore left at the camp.

Alra had gone to check the traps behind the tent so it was the perfect opportunity to talk to him.

He hadnt noticed me standing over him until i began to write on the paper.

Why do you hate me

I dont hate you

I think you do

Why do you think that

You keep staring at me and havent talked to me once since i arrived

My sencirest apologies for your ignorance.

Wow if this guy talks as posh as he writes then the others must find him annoying.

I am simply just trying to figure out who you are.

What do you mean by that.

Im good at figuring stuff out about people just by looking at them.

And what have you managed to learn about me.

You were at war with a group, lost people you love. You were also responsible for the death of a child.

As i read that my eyes began to glaze over with tears. My smile fadding away from my face at the memory of the incident.

Noticing my reaction, a smile crept accross his face.

He wasnt joking when he said he was inquisitive.

Sofia, i led her away, or atleast, i tried to.

But failed.

Tell me, who was it

I took the paper and told him everything, about atlanta, dad "dying", the cdc, sofia, the farm, shane.... The prison....

He told me about his past, his uncle who worked in a zoo, the school he was stuck in for the first year of the apocolyps.

We bonded.

We became friends over it.

Although i felt bad, i told him about the prison.

But i didnt tell him the full story, i didnt tell him about the sickness. I hadnt told any of them about the flu that succeeded in wiping out half of our groups population.

I hadnt told them i had it.

Or that I've still got it, and it's still just as bad....
