Chapter 2 : Anger

Katsuki's POV:

———Bakugou was in a horrible mood. He hated that he had to be around these insignificant extras for another year. He was scrolling through Instagram to cool off from the encounter he had with Kirishima when suddenly, to his surprise, that girl walked in. He looked at her and their eyes instantly met. 'Why the hell is Pink Cheeks in here now?!' he thought as she walked by him.

He stared at her with an annoyed expression on his face. He was already pissed off as it was and now she's invading his space. As Ochako grabbed a candy bar from the fridge, Bakugou scoffed.

"Will you hurry up and fuck off?" he said annoyingly.

Ochako flinched and turned to him quickly, visibly terrified of his assertion. "I'm sorry...I was h-hungry and wanted a-" Bakugou cut her off.

"It doesn't take that long to get a goddamn chocolate bar. How incompetent are you?" he growled. This girl was seriously getting on his nerves. He's never been THIS upset by her presence before which really confused and scared her.

"I'm sorry. I'll just go..." she said sadly before nervously speed walking away.

"Tch." Bakugou said as he returned to his phone. 'What the hell is her problem?! First she wants to say hi to me and now she wants to invade my space?!'  he thought as he scrolled on his phone, infuriated by the thought of the girl's face.

~The next day~

Today was the first day of school. Bakugou was up early. As much of a delinquent he is, he knows he needs good grades to achieve his goal of being the number one hero. After he got ready for the day, he walked downstairs and towards the front door. But then...he noticed her.

'This bitch again? Seriously???'  he thought to himself as he walked towards the front door. Ochako was putting on her shoes for school and pretty slowly at that. Bakugou had no reason to care about what she is or isn't doing but seeing her taking her sweet time when they have class soon seriously irked him.

Unlike last year, Ochako wasn't wearing her black leggings under her skirt. Instead, she wore barely knee high socks, which left the skin on her legs visible. Noticing how much more of her was revealed, his heart skipped a beat. The small and quick feeling of attraction that he felt in that split second wasn't significant enough for him to address the feeling. He rolled his eyes at her before walking out the door and heading to class.

In the school's hallway on the way to class, Ochako, now scared of being late, ran through the hallway and past Bakugou. As she ran by, he caught a whiff of her sweet, cotton candy scented perfume. The smell of her scent made Bakugou feel relaxed for just a second before his usual rage kicked in. That is now twice in one day that she has upset him. Bakugou followed her to class angrily, planning to confront her.

Ochako made it to class before him and when he walked in, he saw her sitting on a desk talking to Deku. Bakugou stormed up to them and stared straight through Ochako's eyes and into her soul. She had absolutely no clue why he was coming at her but she had a feeling that this would be her last day on Earth.

"Uh...um..." she stuttered, "Hey Bakugou....". She nervously laughed while playing with her fingers. Deku had no clue what was happening so he nervously looked at Bakugou, then to Ochako, then back to Bakugou.

Bakugou furrowed his eyebrows before he found the composure to speak at a somewhat normal tone. "Please, for fuck's sake, stop popping up everywhere that I am. It's fucking annoying.".

Ochako and Deku looked at each other, confused, before looking back at Bakugou. "It's not like I'm intentionally trying to be around you." Ochako replied firmly.

Flustered by her stern response, he struggled to snap back at her. "Whatever, Pink Cheeks..." he mumbled as he retreated and sat down in the desk in front of Ochako and Deku.

"Don't call me 'Pink Cheeks'...it's weird." Ochako said quietly after Bakugou sat down. She then went back to talking to Deku as Bakugou began seething at what Ochako just said to him.

'I fucking hate her...' he thought to himself.———
