Chapter 10: Lilies and Orchids and a big surprise

Warning as usual for sexual content! Be prepared, please? Warning for emotional softness too, because yes I will make this the rollercoaster chapter of this book. I am going to write everything in italic from now on <3 I love how it looks, and for me its easier to read and understand as my handwriting turns into more italic, I should try writing this long by hand, I would suffer. By the way for context it is halloween/fall season in this chapter :D, also warning for the end, this is the last chapter as I feel to end it here instead of continuing.

A week after Yumeko and Kira got their cat, Mary and Riri had decided to plan and make the wedding be that week. Kira and Riri talked about their father and they were questioning, whether he would protest or not. Kira and Riri were talking in Kira's dorm, Yumeko was still talking with Mary. After a bit Yumeko came back to the dorm and walked over to Kira. Yumeko said to Kira while hugging her tightly "The wedding is next week and your parents are coming." Kira responded while leaning into Yumeko "I know and yeah my parents are not going to like it." Yumeko nodded but then just pulled Kira on their bed.

Kira blushed a little, Kira still melted into Yumeko after just a second and Yumeko said "You're still adorable like crazy" Kira smiled and replied "Only for you, baby" Yumeko then pulled Kira even closer to her. Yumeko said something but not in English instead in Japanese "私のかわいい小さな赤ちゃん" (My sweet little baby in English) Kira didn't understand her but asked "What did you say? I couldn't understand you" Yumeko smiled and said "Something in Japanese." Yumeko paused for a little bit before continuing "I won't tell you what it means though."

Kira questioned Yumeko "Why won't you, is it cheesy or something like that?" Yumeko sighed but decided to tell Kira what it meant anyway "It means "My sweet little baby" Kira questioned Yumeko "You could have just said it in English. Anyways what do you think the cats name should be, I think 'Lily' sounds nice" Yumeko responded to Kira "That's a nice name, it fits the cat." Kira then fed the cat and got back into bed.

Yumeko and Kira went to eat dinner, which went by as usually, no chaos and control. After dinner Kira and Yumeko both felt tired and decided it was time to sleep. The next morning Kira woke up first. Kira went to shower right as Yumeko woke up. Yumeko quickly joined Kira to help her wash herself and to be with her. After the shower they went to breakfast, which is as usual, but today there was an announcement from Arkadi for some reason. The announcement was brief and about house pets, which are now apparently non existent.

After the announcement Kira and Yumeko returned to their dorm and got dressed up for class. Class went by as it usually would go on every day. Kira and Yumeko were talking about the baby before dinner, because it was entirely new to them to even think about actually having one, which they do have now. Kira asked Yumeko "Which one of us do you think she will more be like?" Yumeko thought about it for a second until she responded "I think she will be like both of us, in certain ways, not entirely one, but not entirely the other one of us either." Kira smiled at Yumeko, but didn't say anything, because she didn't need to, Yumeko practically knew that Kira wouldn't oppose her opinions, other than self-harm and suicide.

They went to dinner slowly after talking for quite a while. They were the first of the council at dinner that day, which wasn't actually that usual, usually Runa or Chad would've been first, but not that day. After dinner Chad sent a message in the council group chat for some reason, saying: "I prepared something in the lounge, come here, all of you, this night will be fun." Everyone from the council responded yes to the message after only 5 minutes, since the message got sent. It was now time to go into the lounge and see what Chad had prepared. Kira and Yumeko were both in pajamas, once again the purple ones, as they dont use any other ones.

At the lounge, there were many blankets and the tv was set to netflix, so Kira and Yumeko just assumed it was for a movie night or something of the sort. Chad suddenly walked in and told everyone: "I wanted to watch a certain limited series so, we can start tonight, but we can't finish tonight, also please no one watch it on your own, as we don't need anyone to be bored and already know what happens in the series." Everyone questioned Chad on what series it was and Chad told everyone it was a limited horror series on netflix.

They started watching the series after a bit of silence, everyone either under a blanket and cuddling someone or just laying on the floor. Kira and Yumeko are on the couch as always, with a shared blanket over them. Runa and Blake were on the smaller couch, which was actually the newer couch, and Riri and Mary were on the same couch as Kira and Yumeko, but just on the other side of the couch. Chad, Dori and Suki were all on the floor with a blanket and pillows. The series was at first very boring for Kira and Yumeko, which was usual, but to be completely fair for them it's not their kind of show, they usually watch romantic comedies or anything of the sort.

The first episode went by in an hour and Chad said to everyone: "Same time tomorrow night, alright?" Everyone nodded, because it was actually a good series in their opinion. Everyone went to sleep slowly. Kira and Yumeko were the last ones to go to sleep after the episode. They fed their cat before going to sleep and put the cat in her own bed. The night wasn't special at all for Kira and Yumeko, but the cat did walk up to Yumeko and jump on her, which made Yumeko whimper for some reason.

Yumeko woke up to Lily still being on top of her and as usual Kira still sleeping deep in her chest. Lily was still deep in sleep and Yumeko didn't want to wake up the small cat, because the cat needed alot of sleep. A bit after Yumeko woke up Kira woke up and immediately questioned why the cat was in their bed. Yumeko answered with a clear voice "Lily got up on the bed during the night, when we were both asleep." Lily yawned like a cat yawns, which surprised both of them, because they hadn't heard the cat yawn before. They went outside to walk the cat, because the cat obviously needed to pee or poop at least once in a day. They went to the nearby park, which was lit by a barely risen sun as it was 7.24 in the morning on that day.

The park was full of trees that had leaves, which were all yellowish or orange, which was beautiful in it's own way. Kira commented about the park to Yumeko "The trees are beautiful, just like you in this beautiful fall." Yumeko blushed lightly and said back to Kira: "The fall is beautiful here every fall, also you're just as beautiful here and everywhere." Kira asked Yumeko "Can we do something?" Yumeko nodded then Kira got on Yumeko's back. They walked rest of the walk this way, with Kira on Yumeko's back, which Yumeko liked, she did not complain at all.

Yumeko even at some time said "This feels like something we should've done more often." Kira nodded at Yumeko and then literally fell asleep on her back. Yumeko tried waking Kira up: "Baby, wake up, we're still outside." Kira didn't even budge though, but she did hang on tighter, when Yumeko tried waking her up by moving her. Kira murmured, still asleep: "I love you more than anything, even more than my own fish." Yumeko got surprised by Kira's murmur but still said back: "I love you too."

After the walk they got back to their dorm, although Kira was still asleep on Yumeko and wouldn't let go of course, because she didn't want to. Yumeko tried waking up Kira "Baby, we need to eat breakfast, please wake up." Kira didn't even flinch, she stayed where she was, still asleep. Yumeko decided she could order the breakfast to their room for both of them, since Kira wasn't obviously going to wake up. Yumeko didn't mind Kira, but she did still want to eat breakfast.

The breakfast arrived, although Kira was still asleep, so Yumeko asked for the food to be brought inside, as she obviously couldn't get it. Yumeko tried waking up Kira again "Kira, baby, please wake up, if you don't, you will complain about your breakfast being cold." Kira reacted this time and murmured: "Wait, what?" Yumeko smiled and said "You heard me, your breakfast is getting cold." Kira slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was asleep on her wife, and then she saw her breakfast. Kira spoke again "Did I fall asleep on your back, also thank you for getting breakfast." Yumeko nodded and then just gave Kira her breakfast.

Kira and Yumeko slowly ate their breakfasts together, since there was no classes today they decided to stay at their dorm until at least lunch time. Kira thought about what they'd had done together and well she realized they never had a picnic so she planned one for lunch on that day. Kira didn't tell Yumeko about it, but still did tease Yumeko by saying they weren't going to eat like normal. Kira said to Yumeko, while they were still cuddling on the bed they share: "Yume, I'm not saying anything more but be ready to eat lunch outside."

Yumeko raised an eyebrow and Kira understood it so she told Yumeko "Love, You'll understand when you're supposed to." Yumeko whined "Babyyy." Kira hugged Yumeko even closer now. Yumeko and Kira stayed and cuddled for a while, until they decided to watch a series of their own again before lunch. Kira told Yumeko what time it was and Yumeko realized that it was lunch time. Kira took a blindfold and then told Yumeko to put it on. Kira carried Yumeko to the picnic she had planned.

When Kira took the blindfold of Yumeko, since Yumeko didn't know about the picnic she said "Kira, what is this is all for? Thank you." Kira replied to Yumeko "For you, my love, and I also wanted to give you something." Kira gave Yumeko a necklace she had gotten earlier that week. Yumeko immediately smiled as she saw the necklace, it was a lily necklace so she said "Thank you, I love it, I really love lilies." Kira smiled at her wife and said "I know you love lilies, thats why I got you that one and not the one I got for myself." Kira then put on her own necklace, that was an orchid.

Yumeko noticed the necklace and asked "A orchid?" Kira smiled and responded "Yes, It's to symbolize the love I have for you" Yumeko blushed and then kissed Kira on the cheek, which made Kira's face light up. Kira opened the box with lunch and Yumeko's face lit up, because it was her favorite type of spaghetti, which is shrimp spaghetti. Yumeko asked Kira "Baby, When'd you have the time to make this? I know for a fact its made by you and not pre cooked." Kira smiled and said "I cooked it while you thought I was in my office."

They ate slowly, while often looking in each others eyes and sometimes even kissing each other. After they had eaten the picnic dinner, they started packing up the stuff so they could go where Kira had planned for them to go, which was still a surprise to Yumeko entirely. Yumeko and Kira were still wearing the necklaces, since they just got them, but they weren't actually just any necklaces, they were a key to a hotel room as well, but there was a duplicate so they would get to keep one that wasn't a key to a room. Kira had ordered them a taxi to the hotel so they wouldn't have to walk.

Slowly after the taxi got there, they went in and immediately when they were inside Yumeko questioned "Where are we going?" Kira replied with a smirk on her face "It's a surprise." Yumeko whined, but decided to wait so that Kira wouldn't complain about her complaining. Yumeko suddenly gets a bit dizzy though, and Kira isn't there, since she was preparing the surprise, already at the hotel. Yumeko fell asleep. When Yumeko woke up she wasn't where she just was, she was in Japan, with no sight of Kira.

Then she looked at her night stand to see a picture of presumably her family, and in that picture there was a man next to Yumeko, Yumeko didn't remember him though, although Yumeko did have wedding certificates in front of her. She woke up from a dream, one that was basically a lifetime, although she was actually in ST.Doms and liked Kira, they never dated since Kira and Yumeko weren't allowed to because of Arkadi.
