Chapter 48

Valentines went sweet with Nick. He started the argue but he end it up with some kind of little sweet things because he is the sweetest one.

Now I'm back to LA and everything is fine. Burt's cancer is gone and it's mean he dont need to do any kind of surgery. New Directions is ready for regionals with a direct from Mr. Schue.

Finn quit being the glee club director because he told Mr. Schue that he kissed Ms. Pillsburry when she was panic with her wedding but Ms. Pillsburry didnt kiss Finn back.

They do Feud number in glee club. Finn already apologize to Mr. Schue but he cant forget what happened in between Finn and Ms. Pillsburry.

"E, call from Finn!" Mercedes yelled from the living room.

I walked out from my room and take the phone. Finn must be want to tell me about something.

"Hello, Finn?" I asked.

"I entered University of Lima like what you want." Finn said.

"Great. So you will have a bright future there." I said.

"But you have to know that Puck is my roommates now." Finn laughed.

"Wait what?" I gasped.

"You must be happy right? Haha it was accidentaly. I entered this university and I though my roommates would be someone else but when I enter, its him."

"Great that someone with you there." I said.

"Oh he is in front of me now. You wanna talk with him?" Finn asked.

"No, I'm fine. Just hope that he is okay."

"He is really okay, well I will have my first class in twenty minutes. Talk to you later."

"Take care, Finn." I hung up the phone.

I let out a sigh and place the phone back to the hangin wall. Glad that Finn is finally decided to enter a formal university and study there.

"Seems like you're happy now." Mercedes said to me.

"Yes, Finn enter University of Lima and found a new roommate who is Puck." I said to Mercedes.

"Wow haha some of us reunite together. Santana moves to New York and stay with Rachel and Kurt. You with me and Finn with Puck." Mercedes chuckled.

"So if we held a reunite it wont be happy anymore haha." I chuckled.

"E, there is something I want to talk to you." Mercedes said in serious face.

I nodded and sit down next to her on the sofa. "What? It seems like really serious." I raised my eyebrows.

"You pregnant?" Mercedes suddenly ask me.

"No." I shake my head nervously.

"Then what is this?" Mercedes showed me a pregnancy test that I throw to the trash.

"Mercedes... I.. dont know it's true or not." I'm crying.

"Have you check to the doctor?" Mercedes asked me.

"I just found out two days ago. I dont know it was true or not because it was a long time ago and I'm afraid." I cried.

"Is it Puck's?"

I just nodded slowly and crying again. Two week after Mr. Schue's wedding, I could feel that my body can easily got tired and I vomit almost every morning then I bough a pregnancy test and it says that I'm pregnant and Puck must be the father because I never did that with nobody else except him or even Nick.

"Change your clothes, we need to check out to the doctor. We cant trust those pregnancy test." Mercedes wipe my tears.

"Dont tell this to Nick or anyone else, please." I begged to her.

"We cant tell this to anyone else before we find out the truth." Mercedes said to me."I'm here for you. Dont cry."

"I didnt tell you that after Mr. Schue's wedding party. Puck and I slept together in a hotel room." Tears still fall down on my face.

"I can guess that. I can see that you cant stay away from Puck that day. I saw Finn with Rachel and Kurt with Blaine. You guys cant deny that you still in love with each other." Mercedes said.

"But I felt guilty of this. I cant tell Nick and I dont know what to do." I said to Mercedes.

"We better go before Nick find out where are we going to and he will be suspicious." Mercedes smiled at me.

"Okay, I take my bag first." I said to Mercedes and walked to my room.

I take my bag and change my sandals into a shoes. I walked out from my room and meet Mercedes who is also ready to accompany me to the doctor.

"I want to check out a pregnancy." I said to the doctor.

"You can lay your body on the bed." The doctor said to me.

I nodded and walked to the bed with a screen next to me.

"I will put this gel on your stomach." The doctor put gel on my stomach.

It feels so cold and like a hairgel I guess. Then he scan my stomach with something and looked at the screen.

"You're not pregnant, Ms. Hudson." The doctor said to me.

"But my pregnancy test said that I'm pregnant and I feel like I got a morning sickness." I said to the doctor.

"Sometimes the food you eat causing you feel the same things and make that pregnancy test shows that you're pregnant when actually you're not." The doctor smiled at me.

"So I'm not pregnant? Well thats good." I chuckled.

"Next time, dont forget to tell your boyfriend to use protection, Ms. Hudson." The doctor chuckled.

"Haha I will. Thank you doctor." I smiled at the doctor.

"You're welcome." The doctor smiled back at me.

I walked out from the doctor's office to meet Mercedes who is waiting for me in waiting seat.

"How?" Mercedes asked me.

I shake my head and smile at her. "I'm not pregnant!" I said happily.

"Finally, I wont hear someone sing a song to baby sonogram." Mercedes chuckled.

"I should call Finn and make his shocked!" I laughed.

Suddenly my phone is ringing. Got a text from Nick? Oh hell to the no.

From: SmirkyMeet me in the rooftop at 6. I have something for you

To: SmirkyAlright. See ya, Smirky

I put my phone back to my pocket. I got something in my mind. Does he know that I slept with Puck that day? If it yes, I'm gonna die.

"What?" Mercedes wake me up from my imagination.

"That day on Mr. Schue's wedding. You think that everyone else see me and Puck together?" I asked Mercedes.

"I dont think so. Why?" Mercedes frowned.

"Seems like Nick have something serious to talk with me." I simply said.

"You have to tell him the truth if he ask about that. Truth will hurt him but it's better than lived a lie between you guys." Mercedes said.

"I will brave myself." I let out a sigh.

"You already brave yourself to check the doctor out about your fake pregnant." Mercedes chuckled.

"I was wondering if I was pregnant. Would Puck be happy with that? Or he might be give our baby to Shelby? I dont know."

"Puck loves you, E. He would keep the baby with you. He wont make a mistake like he did with Quinn because he truly love you." Mercedes smiled at me.

"Aww, you're sweet." I chuckled.

"We better hurry and shock Finn about this." Mercedes laughed.

* 15 minutes later *

We got into our apartment building. I looked at my watch and it's almost 6pm. I better go and meet Nick in the rooftop.

"I'll be back! I have to go now!" I said to Mercedes and run away to get to the rooftop.

As we got to the rooftop I saw Nick is sittinf there alone and looking at the evening sky. Brave yourself, Emily...

"Guess who!" I said as I cover Nick's eyes with my hand.

"My doll-face. Of course." Nick chuckled.

"Hey." I chuckled and sitting down next to him.

"Hey baby. Where have you been?" Nick asked.

"Went to hospital meet aunt Annie with Mercedes." I lied.

"I see. Thats why your apartment is empty." Nick said.

"Yes, what are you doing here?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I'm gonna miss this place." Nick said without looking at me.

I frowned and gasped about what he said. "You can come here anytime you want." I frowned.

"I'm leaving tomorrow."

"What do you mean?" I frowned.

"Nana and I will move to Toronto where the rest of our family there. Nana's illness is getting worse day by day so they want us to move with them in Toronto, with Rafael and the others." Nick holds my hand.

"But you still can stay here right? What about your college? What about us?"

"I cant. Nana is the only parent I had. Left her to Chicago was my mistake and when I got here she is getting worse. She is like my mom, I cant leave her. I promise to myself that I will always be in her side."

"What about us?" I cried.

"I set you free. You dont believe in long distance relationship right? According what happened with you and your ex also your brothers." Nick keeps holding my hand.

"But you are not like them, Nick. You are different."

"But I cant, Emily. I dont wanna hurt you, I dont wanna make you believe in me but then I break your trust. I love you but its the better choice." Nick hugged me.

"You just did a thing like your cousin did. Left me." I pushed his body away and about to leave him.

"Emily please understand. Nana means a lot to me so does you. I want to set you free because I love you. I dont wanna hurt you." Nick catched my hand.

"I set you free too." I said without looking at him.

Nick still hold my hand. He cups my cheek and make me look onto his eyes. "I love you. You're the first girl that really stole my heart since the first time I saw you. You're different and lovely. I cant imagine to live without you there. I cant imagine to live without your sweet smile and your funny things. You dont know how much I love you and this is sucks for me, not only for you. I cried since last night because of this. Because I dont wanna leave you but I did."

"Just go. I wont hold you to stay." I said to him.

Nick still cups my cheek until his face getting closer to me and kissed me. His last kiss and his last hug. We started this relationship in this place and end it up in this place too.

I pulled his lips away. Tears still slowly fall down to my face. He is standing frozen and turn away his face. I better go. I walked away from him and leave him and I will lock myself in my room.

"E, Nick want to leave." Merceses knocked my door.

I didnt answer her. Today Nick will leave to Toronto and I just lock myself in my room since last night I met him. I dont want to see him anymore or it will make me sick.

"I'm gonna miss you, doll-face." Nick said from the door.

"I'm gonna miss you too." I mumbled.

I could hear someone open close the door and some foot steps. Nick is really gone. I walked to my window and see that him and Nana place their stuff in the baggage car.

Nick looked at my window and he saw me standing here looking at him. He halfsmiled at me and waves me a goodbye. I just give him a halfsmiled at wave him a goodbye too.

He entered the cab and the cab is finally gone away. My man is gone away to another place and I dont know what should I do now.

I walked out from my room and Mercedes is doing something in the kitchen. I take a glass of water from the dining table and drink it.

"Someone is finally went out from her room." Mercedes said.

"I need to survive." I said and sit down on the dining table.

"Dont be so lonely, you still have me here. We can come to McKinley and meet the others for regionals." Mercedes sit down in front of me.

"Shall I call Finn?" I asked Mercedes.

"If you think so. Why not?" Mercedes raised her eyebrows.

"Sometimes your brother is the only one who can make you feel better." I sighed and walked to my room to call Finn.

I take my phone and decided to call Finn and hope that he is not busy and can answer it. I dial Finn's number until the calling voice is ringing and someone answer the phone.

"Finn, Nick and I broke up. He left me to Canada like what Rafael did. Can we tell mom to back to Vancouver?" I said sadly.

"You also left me in a hotel room." A familiar voice.

"Puck? Is that you?" I asked.

"Next time, after someone answer a phone ask him first, who is that." Puck said.

"I called to Finn's handphone not to your college phone. Where is Finn?"

"Went to the class and he left his phone here and you woke me up from my nap." Puck said.

"Puck, actually I called Finn because I want to tell him something." I said.

"You and that guy broke up? I heard that clearly and now you're mine, no one else." Puck said.

"No, about what we did on Mr. Schue's wedding..."

"NO WAY!" Puck yelled.

"Yes, I'm pregnant." I hide my laugh.

"Shit Puck how stupid are you! You are not even twenty but you got another chick pregnant, you made a sibling for Beth." Puck said.

"I'm sure it's yours."

"Of course it's mine because you were virgin and it's impossible to you to did that with that good guy. Baby, calm down. Have you check to the doctor?" Puck asked.

"Yesterday, I did with Mercedes."

"Then what it says? Boy or a girl? How old? Mohawk or brunette?" Puck asked.

"The doctor said that....."

"The doctor say what?"

"The doctor said that I'm not pregnant!" I laughed so hard.

"Seriously? I'm sure that I didnt use protection." Puck asked.

"Now you scared me!" I yelled.

"Haha we were drunk, who remember about the protection? But you sure that you're not pregnant?"

"At first I though I was pregnant and the pregnancy test I bough said that I was pregnant then I went to the doctor yesterday with Mercedes and the doctor said that I'm not pregnant. Nothing is in my belly." I said.

"It means that I can get you preggo." Puck said.

"I can imagine you said that with your suck smirk." I rolled my eyes.

"And I can imagine you said that with your eyes rolled." Puck laughed.

"But thanks, my prank is working. You believe that I was pregnant haha." I laughed.

"If I was there, we already have a make out session now." Puck said.

"Disgusting." I simply said.

"Shall I come to LA and prove it to you?" Puck asked.

"You dont need to. Because I dont want to hear any kind of pregnant jokes anymore."

"But you were the one who made that jokes." Puck protest.

"You were the one who cause me think I was pregnant." I said.

"Alright lets have a deal. You're mine and I'm completely yours now."

"No." I simply said.

"I know you love me, I know you care." Puck is singing.

"You have to prove something first. Remember when you said in hotel room about Airman Force?"

"Fine! I'll prove you and make you down then you cant deny that you are mine!" Puck said.

"Well let see. By the way our unborn baby is a boy."

"You pregnant or notttt?" Puck yelled.

"Haha I'm not pregnant. Well talk to you later." I hung up the phone and laughed so hard.

Thanks Puck, you really can make me laughed so hard like you usually did before we broke up.

I walked out from my room still with a laugh. This laughing really make me thirsty.

"What are you laughing at?" Mercedes frowned at me.

"You have to know something, Cedes." I laughed.

"What?" Mercedes raised her eyebrows.

"I called Finn but Puck answered my call. Then I told him about my pregnancy and he was shocked. He then asked me if the baby is a girl or boy, mohawk or brunette and anything else. But I cant hide my laugh so I told him the truth that I'm not pregnant." I laughed.

"Puck must be freak out because he might think that this would be his second baby." Mercedes laughed.

"It was funny. I can imagine his face if I told him in face to face." I laughed.

"Glad to see you happy like this." Mercedes smiled at me.

"And the one who did that was Puck." I chuckled.

"Puckily will getting back together." Mercedes said.

"Puckily?" I frowned.

"Yes, your ship name. We are the rest give you both ship name is Puckily." Mercedes chuckled."E, your phone is ringing again." Mercedes said as she sat down on the sofa.

I run to my room to answer my call until I looked at the screen and Puck is calling me.

"Give our baby name with Jack Daniels." Puck said.

"I said I'm not pregnant." I yelled.

"You said that our unborn baby is a boy." Puck said.

"It was a joke, Puck. I already check the doctor and I'm not pregnant." I rolled my eyes.

"If you were really pregnant, I would keep our baby together and I wont give our baby to another person like I did to Beth. So if you're really pregnant, call me. I wont leave you and I'll be there for you." Puck said.

"Puck..."

"What? Dont look at me with your puppy eyes or say that it was disgusting." Puck protest.

"I didnt looked at you. Your words were sweet but I'm not pregnant oh should I fake pregnant like Mr. Schue's ex wife did? And make you feel happy?"

"If you do that, I wont forgive you. I will kill you. No, I swear I really want to have a baby from your magical garden. I was happy at first but then you were joking." Puck said.

"I'm sorry."

"Your apologize will accept if you let me come to LA." Puck said.

"You can come to LA anytime you want. This is a big city." I simply said.

"Fine, I will come to LA." Puck hung up the phone.

"You're such a jerk, Puck!" I yelled to my phone.

I throw my phone to my bed and take my sketch book and start drawing something. I know, I will draw Puck's annoying face on my sketch book and hangin it on the wall.

Two Days Later

I woke up as the sun is filling my room. It's Sunday and I should have some workout now. I change my clothes into a long sweat pants and a sport bra also a hoodie. I take my sport shoes and walked out from my apartment.

Mercedes might be still sleeping. I walked passed the door in front of my apartment amd half smiled. If Nick was here, he must be already disturb me.

I went out from my apartment building and start jogging. After this I need to go to the fitness centre. I really want my belly looks like I'm not pregnant.

* 4 hours later *

2 hours fitness and 2 hours jogging without any kind of disturb is finally done. Now it's time to back to the apartment and drink my healthy juice.

I guess I need go to the yoga and do yoga but the one who can do that only Kurt. I'm not sure I can do that.

I walked into my apartment. And it's empty. Maybe Mercedes just went out to somewhere to meet Tank or buy something.

I close the front door and opened my door room. "And I wonder if I ever cross your mind, for me it happens all the time." I'm singing and opened my hoodie.

"For me too." A voice shocked me.

"Puck? What the hell are you doing in my room?" I frowned.

Puck is sitting down in my bed and cover his half body with my blanket while his back againts the wall.

"Seeing you naked. I like your sport bra." Puck smirked at me.

"Perv!" I yelled and take my hoodie back and wear it.

"Babe, like I never seen you naked before." Puck rolled his eyes.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Meet my baby mother. Finn is also here but he just went out with Mercedes and I'm here in your cold room. Hey I can see my face hangin on the wall but I dont like that." Puck said to me.

"Because it is your annoying face." I said to him.

"Look at this teddy. It's here." Puck smirked.

"Errr idiot." I rolled my eyes and walked to the kitchen to take my juice.

I opened the refrigerator and take a big bottle of fresh juice then pour it on a glass the drink it while looking at the kitchen window.

"How can this small belly get pregnant." Puck suddenly hugged me from behind.

"I said I'm not pregnant, Puck." I rolled my eyes.

"I miss you, baby." Puck still hugging me from behind.

"I dont miss you." I simply said and pushed his hand away.

"Emily is such a big liar." Puck yelled.

I didnt say anything but I crash my lips onto his lips to make him shut up. I kissed him and he kissed me back. I really miss him. I cant deny that I miss him.

"Yes, I miss you, Puckerman." I smirked at him.

"Cant believe that your turned into a nasty woman, now." Puck smirked back at me.

"I can change into anything I want to, Puck." I simply said.

"Include the mother of our children?" Puck asked.

"Disgusting, Puck." I rolled my eyes and sit down on the sofa and watching TV."Where did Finn and Mercedes go?" I asked Puck.

"To find some inspiration for regionals. You dont know that Mr. Schue come to my college and apologize to Finn and ask Finn to back because New Directions was creepy when Mr. Schue back." Puck said as he take a slice of bread and cream cheese.

"Thats good." I simply said.

"Finn and Rachel also getting back together after they found out that Rachel's new boyfriend is a gigolo." Puck walked to the sofa.

"Wait what? So after all this time she dates a gigolo?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Yes. So did I get a chance to ask you back into my life?" Puck smirked at me.

"No. Until you prove something you said." I said without looking at him.

"You said no, but you made out with me, you slept with me even you kissed me. You cant deny that you love me." Puck said.

"Shut up!" I rolled my eyes.

"Babe, please you think that I didnt know you love me? You love me and I love you. We back together. We are endgame." Puck said to me.

"Puck, I only want you this time to prove what you said. If we are getting back together now, you will forget that and I dont want it. Prove the things you said and I will back." I said to him.

"But can we have make out or cuddle for now?" Puck asked.

"No." I shake my head.

"Dude, if you grow up, find a chick like your mom." Puck said to my belly.

"Puck, I'm not pregnant. You make me sad." I said sadly.

"I dont believe that there is nothing in your belly. I swear I didnt use any protection." Puck said to me.

"What about we check the doctor tomorrow? And you will believe me that I'm not pregnant." I raised my eyebrows.

"What if you pregnant?" Puck raised his eyebrows.

"Puck, why are you really want me to get preggo? It was a joke." I frowned at him.

"Because I dont want you to stay away from me anymore. So get you preggo and make that baby become mine wont make you stay away from me." Puck said sadly.

"I wont stay away from you." I hugged him from his left side.

"So you're pregnant?" Puck asked.

"Once again you talk about pregnancy, I will kill you!" I warned him.

"So wanna get preggo?" Puck asked.

"Not now." I simply said.

"Then when?"

"After we married." I kissed his cheek.

"We? You mean, me and you? You and I?" Puck frowned.

"IF you can prove what you said." I simply said.

"What if I cant?" Puck asked again.

"I will think about that later." I grinned at him.

"I heard someone were talking about pregnancy." Finn and Mercedes walked in.

"Finn...I'm sorry." I said sadly.

"What? You? Puck, is it yours?" Finn frowned.

"Stop making a pregnant joke, Emily!" Puck yelled and groaned.

I cant handle it and laughed so hard. Mercedes just chuckled and Finn is still frowned.

"I dont understand." Finn frowned.

"Two weeks after Mr. Schue's wedding. I though I was pregnant. I bough a pregnancy test and it said I was pregnant but then a couple days ago, Mercedes and I went to the doctor and the doctor said that I'm not pregnant. I called your phone was about to prank you but Puck was the one who answer that so the prank is turned into him and I can guess that he was shocked." I laughed so hard.

"Not only shocked but almost die because I feel like I did the same mistake again." Puck rolled his eyes.

I cant stop laughing until Puck cover my mouth with his hand. I rolled my eyes and pouted at him. He just give me a smirk. A dying smirk.
