Chapter 7

Tao's POV

  It has been a day so far since we started traveling to the Valley of Serenity and it was starting to get a bit dark. Night time was close so it was time to start up camp.

"Alright, it is time we start laying down camp. This here is a pretty good spot. We will continue our travel in the morning. After breakfast of course." I said. 

   As we set up our camp I couldn't help but think about everything that has happened in my life. My parents abandoning me, Tai Lung finding me and giving me a place to call home, learning kung fu, Tai Lung's betrayal, leaving the Jade Palace and the Valley of Peace, and now, here I am, about to go back to the place it all truly started, home.

"You alright?" 

   I turn my head to see Tigress looking at me. 

"Yeah, I'm just thinking." I replied.

"I am going to guess you are thinking about how you are about to go back to your old home?" she asked.

"You would be correct." I said, smiling, thinking about just how much I have missed being home.

"You know, I always wonder what would have been if I had stayed there." I said.

"It would probably been a whole lot different if you had stayed." she said.

   I nod my head, looking around. I notice her friend, Crane I believe, wasn't around.

"Where did your friend go? Crane was it?" I asked.

"He always tends to get some sleep as early as he can when he has the chance to." she replied.

"Well, he has a good idea. We are going to need to get up as early as we can if we want to get to the Valley of Serenity as fast as possible." I said. 

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

*Morning* 

"RISE AND SHINE!" I exclaimed, looking to wake them both up. 

A second later they both stood up.

"I made breakfast." I said smiling.

*A few Days Later*

Tigress's POV

   We finally have arrived at the Valley of Serenity. I don't know how long we have until this Dai Kon comes, I just hope it isn't anytime soon. 

"Alright, as as I said, when we get to his house do not freak out or anything." Tao said.

"Why would we?" I ask.

"Yeah? What, is he some kind of famous master? Cause, honestly if it is then I will say that is pretty cool." Crane said. I just rolled my eyes. 

"You will see." Tao replied.

   We get to a nice little house and he opens the door and walks right in. I am only going to guess that Tao and this guy are close if Tao will just walk right in. 

"Hello, anybody home?" Tao asks.

"UNCLE TAO!!" exclaimed what I saw to be a little snow leopardess cub that ran around the corner and straight into Tao's arms with glee. Tao laughing along with her.

"Hey, sweetheart, is your daddy home." Tao asks.

"Hey Tao, what brings you- here" said a VERY familiar snow leopard walking around the corner. 

Tai Lung.
