Chapter 39

I woke up with a heavy feeling on my heart. Maybe it's the thought that my flight is tonight and I'm leaving everyone behind. The thought of meeting my dying father, leaving everyone, being alone and thinking of whatever what happen for next few days in Australia. My room is completely clean, bags on the corner and my clothes for tonight is already prepared. Harry left this morning after our little coffee break. Our promises was so fresh and clear to me.

Lying beside him was always feels so right, it felt really comfortable and it makes me feel protective under his arms. "Hey" he said as he kissed my forehead and I smile "Hey" I said and he started playing with my hair. I never imagine being this close to Harry, this comfortable feeling and how open we were to each other under this sheet, how close our naked bodies together isn't new to us.

"After this Australia thing going on, I want you to make a promise, okay?" he said and I looked at him, his green eyes piercing through the dark room with only my lamp shade our source of light. "And what is that?" I said and he smile

"Whatever happens, if our worlds collide again or we meet again in some other ways, wherever we are, I want you to marry me" he said.

His words struck on my heart like I felt it stopped for a minute and let his words sink in and revive my brain. "Harry I..." I said not trusting on my mouth, I don't know how to respond

"I'm not kidding Megan, I love you too much to let you go. I let you go and the second time around, I'm not letting you go again. I know it's crazy but Megan, I'm ready to leave everything behind just to have you in my life. We can have a normal, cozy house we dreamed off and maybe have two or how many kids you want us to have running around in our little house. I always dreamed off you on a rocking chair reading your favorite book with me on our own porch. Megan I always dreamed off us being together. Fuck, I don't even believe in forever but I can love you until eternity. Please marry me" he said and I felt myself crying as tears fell off my cheeks

"I will" I said and he smile and right there I saw a single tear on his eyes "Really?" he said almost laughing with joy "Yeah" I said joining him and he hug me really tight "Oh my god, Megan please don't you ever break that promise. You can break my balls but not that promise" he said and i laugh "Okay Harry, I promise" I said.

Ther's like a thing about our promise that makes me smile but scared at the same time. What if our world don't collide? What if, if we didand he is already married? Maybe I wasn't thinking right when I said yes to his proposal. What's new? I wasn't able to think straight when he's around.

"Good morning honey" Mom said and I smile "Hey kiddo" Niall said handling me a cereal bowl "Niall, go get a life" I said as I sat beside him on the couch. Him on his sweatpants and shirt and me on my grey sweatpants and a tank top. "Oh look who's talking" he said as we watched Spongebob together "I have a better life than you" I said and he laugh "Stop it or i'll make you remember  your braces days" he said and I laugh

"God Niall that was like ten years ago!" I said and he laugh "Nope! That was 6 and a half years ago" he said wiggling his eyebrows and I laugh "You and your math" I said and he smile proudly "I've got like an A on my Advance Algebra and Trigonometry class" he said and I looked at him "I've got an A plus on Calculus, Advance Algebra and Trigo classes" I said "Of course, you don't have a social life back then" he said and I rolled my eyes. "Oh god, stop it. You two are both my dorks. Sometimes I thought that you two are secretly twins" Mom said and we laugh.

"I'm sorry I can't drive you to the airport today" Harry said over the phone and I shrug "It's fine, we said our goodbye's last night anyway" I said as sat on my bed and I can hear him breathing on the other side. "I'll miss you" he said and i close my eyes "I'll miss you too" I said "This is freaking stupid!" he said and I laugh softly "Harry, your mom needs you. You've been stuck  with me ever since!" I said and he laugh "But you'll be gone for like a year or so" he said and I frown "Don't worry I'll always remember our promise" I said and he replied

"You do keep that in mind okay" he said and I smile "Alright, I'll text you later when I get to the airport okay?" I said and he replied "Okay, take care. I love you" and I smile "Love you too. Say hi to Anne and Gemma okay" I said and he laugh "I will" he said and I end our phone call. Unfortunately, Harry have an emergency call from his mom that they needed him there but he wasn't sure what is that about for. I just finished taking a bath and wore my clothes for my flight.

"I'll miss you" Mom said as she hugged me tightly and I swear I'm like a little close to cry my balls out "I'll call you when I got there" I said and she nod wiping the tears away "Be safe okay" Niall said as he hugged me "Get a life, or maybe a girlfriend for a change" I said to him and he laugh but his eyes were red and I knew his about to cry also "I will" he said and I laugh. The woman on speaker called the passengers and I looked at them for the last time "I guess this is it? I'll call you" I said.
