Chapter 24

Meg’s POV

“We’ve been waiting for you for almost an hour!” Niall screamed “I’m coming!” I yelled back. I put my hair on a braid. I looked at myself in the mirror, skinny jeans, sweater, and my sneakers. I grab my bag and my phone and went downstairs. “Geez! I just went there for like 20 minutes!” I said and Harry laughed.

“Let’s go!” I said and they nod. We went inside Harry’s car, I on the passenger seat and Niall at the back seat. Niall and Harry planned to take me out for the second part of my birthday. Last night was a blast, my mom is there, some of my relatives are there, and even Danielle and Liam are there. It turned out that Harry planned it out all of it and even get me a precious gift.

 

FLASHBACK

“Hey” Harry said sitting beside me “Hey” I said “Why are you out here? You should enjoy your party” he said and I smile “I just need some cool air. Thank you by the way” I said as I rest my head on his shoulder. He put his arms around my waist as he tightens it to pull me closer to him.

 

 

“I told you I’ll make your birthday memorable” he said and I smile “You already did” I said “Hey I got you something” he said I sat straight as he get something on his pocket. He handed me a little tiffany box and opened it. It reveals a beautiful silver necklace, I gasped “it’s beautiful” I whispered. It’s a heart shaped locket.

 

 

 

I opened it and it shows a picture of me and Harry on the wedding, my hands on his shoulder and his arms around my waist, it’s the part where we were slow dancing. I think the photographers took as a photo without us knowing.

 

 

 

 

But it is a wonderful photo, we both smiling and perfectly happy. “This is wonderful” I said and I hugged him “Thank you Harry for everything” I said and he cupped my jaw and smashed his lips on mine “I love you” he said “I love you too” I said.

 

“Where are we going?” I asked “Just wait! You’ve been asking us for about 100 times already!” Niall said “Why are you so irritated?!” I said “Im hungry for god sake! We’ve been traveling for almost 1 hour!” he said and I rolled my eyes. “I see your wearing your locket” Harry said smirking and I smile looking at the locket “Yeah. I love it” I said kissing his cheeks “Guys! Get a room!” Niall said and Harry chuckles. I rolled my eyes and gave him a deathly stare “Were here” Harry said. I looked outside and saw that were on London.

Harry’s POV

I watched Meg as she took pictures and smile at the surrounding. Niall and I been quiet planning this thing for almost a week. I know we didn’t get along but for Meg’s sake, I’ll do anything. “Styles!” Niall screamed and I look at him. He walked beside me as we looked at Meg who is walking ahead of us. We walked in complete silence. “Meg is very fragile” he said to cut the silence between us. “I never see her so happy again. So happy and shinning and… blooming” he said. I looked at him intensely, he didn’t like Meg… Isn’t he? He laughed

“No, I didn’t like Meg. I always look at her as little sisters so don’t worry “he said and I smile. “I mean, since we were kids, I’ve always been there for her, protecting her and since her dad left them… Candace came and at first we were happy. I was amazed by Meg; she is kind, too kind. I mean if I was her?

I wouldn’t accept the person who takes my father away from us. I wouldn’t forgive the person who hurts me over and over again, the one who makes my life miserable. Candace did that all to her. She took everything from her, people used Meg for Candace and I remember the times Meg used to cry every night. It kills me to see her crying.” He said and I looked at Meg intensely.

“I was happy to see her smile again like this, even laugh like this” he continued. “Harry, I just like to thank you about everything you did. You bring back the life on Meg’s life and I just also wanted to warn you. If you hurt Meg’s heart, I swear! I put this halo in my head around your neck and I swear you didn’t want that to happen” he said and I chuckle.

I didn’t know that Meg is very broken, but why didn’t I felt that? She can be rewarded as the best actress. She’s really good at covering things up, I thought I’ll never learn myself to love her but as the days gone by and as every hours goes by  I realized that I do love her since the very beginning, I just didn’t want to accept it. I just shrugged away the feelings I felt for her.

The way my heart skipped a beat whenever I see her smile at me, the way my skin burn under her touch, those tingly feelings I felt whenever she’s beside me and the way I feel comfortable when she’s around.  But if I do love her, I should set her free before things get worst. I should leave before the spark leaves its mark.

Meg’s POV

I walked around the park, capturing every scene that I can get. But I bumped into someone “I’m sorry” I said as I looked up, I saw a guy with blue…no it’s green… It’s a blue-green eyes; with a brown hair which goes to every direction "I'm sorry” he said helping me to stood up. “Thank you. I’m sorry I wasn’t looking and-““It’s fine” he said smiling. “Can I get your name?” he said smiling “Megan, but please call me Meg” I said and he offered me his hand

“I’m Louis, Louis Tomlinson” he said and I smile I take his hand and shake it “It’s nice to meet you Louis” I said.
